- Thursday and thought I better have a go at the open match @ Albans lakes, London Colney. A bit of a last minute decision yesterday but felt if the weather is gonna turn then now is a good chance to give it a crack
Arrived nice and early and greeted by the usual brilliant banter with Barry the bus and all the usual crowd
My anticipation was soon diminished when peg 8 stuck to my hand ( I’ve had some real good and bad days on this peg ) it really can be feast or famine. Having then noticed josh blavins had drawn peg 12 and in my opinion a far better draw I knew I had my work cut out.
A £5 side bet with Josh on 12 and a £5 side bet with James on 7. Head down and 4 very early fish. Then struggled for bites I’ve had to chop and change between slow sinker, method. Long short feeding and not feeding
Ended up with 122lb for 2nd overal. Well done to josh with the overal win. With 140plus lb
A great day and as always enjoyed every minute
Thanks as always goes out to Colmic uk match and Bait Tech for your continued support

I’m not really sure what u mean. Hope u enjoyed the vid
@@BenCossMatchFishing think the question was for the slow sinking feeder conversion Sure you did a video on how you adapted them
Fox bolt bubbles. And just a float from mosquito angling. I mainly use the fox ones though
