      Mandalorians. Warrios for hundreds of years and pacifists in the clone wars.

    I know it's nearly impossible but I would KILL for a HBO or AMC Star Wars Mandalorians TV series with Temuera Morrison returning to portray Jango Fett. Or even an earlier story of Fett's rise amongst the Mandalorians. Jango got such crummy screen time and had one of the worst deaths in the series, for me at least. Since it seems like Disney is gonna chicken out of doing a Boba Fett movie, Id be so dope to see a hardcore, dark series surrounding these guys. So much cool lore and whatnot.

    The Mandalorians are like the amalgamation of all the warrior cultures we see on Earth, which is probably why it has such a large fanbase. This fits with their in-Universe explanation, since being Mandalorian was more like a culture (and a very open one at that!) than a race. They would accept any species, any gender, from any background so long as they followed Mandalorian tradition. Over time, Mandalorian culture would grow to encompass a multitude of different fighting styles and cultural tenants, all united under a single banner should a common enemy emerge.
    It’s the reason why they almost crushed the Republic under Mand’alor the Ultimate. Divided, they are weak, but united... they become galactic contenders, capable of challenging the entirety of the Republic.

      Always wanted to know more of them. But there like what,a thousand books of star wars EU content?
      I wish they would just give us atleast ONE mandalorian focused game or movie.
      They are shown in Kotor but sadly only for a rather short amount of time and i just think these Badasses deserve more.
      I do like tho that the Bounty Hunter Class from the Star Wars MMO can become a mandalorian if you choose to do so

    The Manalorians draw a lot from the Mongols. They also were driven out of China and eventually unified under a man who history remembers by his title rather than his name. That ruler's title also was sole ruler which is Kangis Khan.

    Awesome video! I love to see another true Mandalorian fan!
    It's almost perfect, except Jango Fett was not a real Mandalorian, after being orphaned, he was taken in and trained by Mandalorians, as well as getting their armor and gear, which he passed on to the Clones.
    Also, I'm just a little bit disappointed that you didn't mention Shae Vizla, who was an amazing Mandalorian that stayed loyal to their alliance with the Sith, and is rumored to have saved Malgus's life on Alderaan before helping him with the sacking of coruscant, but I suppose she wasn't a necessary edition of the video.

    See children. that's all it needs to give birth to a legend in a galaxy far, far away:
    A miniscule character in the second installment of an aspiring francise;
    Cool looking armor (worn by the afore mentioned rather unimportant character);
    Getting devoured by a weird looking crossbread of an octopus and some desert plant
    and last but not least:
    The uproar of 100 of 1000's of fans who've - for reasons unknown to me - obviously thought that character
    is great - even thought the guy never accomplished very much, besides standing around idly & getting devoured, of course ;).

    I always liked the Mando'ade better than the Jedi or Sith. While the culture is brutal and war like, it does have a justice to it, and puts a premium on family and honor. I respect that, in a way I could never respect the Sith's single minded commitment to self or the Jedi's naive rejection of the realities of the galaxy and life. The Mando'ade accept anyone who will accept their culture. They are practical but honorable. They are loyal to each other, and respect those who beat them. Just in victory and gracious in defeat.

      They were also feared by both the Jedi and the Sith because Mandalorian warriors often wore armor of Lightsaber-resistant Beskar metal and used martial arts that incorporated their jump-packs, armor mounted rockets, flamethrowers, whipcords and sonic-projectors to neutralize the advantages Force users had in combat.

    I have a Mandalorian nutcase of a friend who maintains that the New Mandalorians went as far as to completely give up on the use of the language, Mando'a, but I can't find any references to this. Was this in one of the Republic Commando books? The Clone Wars (which I fear I neglected to watch much of)? The comics?
    I ask as there's been talk of doing an Edge of the Empire Campaign featuring a New Mandalorian (me), and Old (True) Mandalorian (him), and possibly a Deathwatch Mandalorian.

    I'm actually glad to see this part of the EU as no longer canon. The humans in the Star Wars universe have nothing of there own. Sith, Jedi, Mandalore, literally everything the humans are a part of they appropriated from some ancient, generic alien. I can accept the Jedi and Sith beliefs being adopted without any problems at all as they're religions and several different species follow the Sith/Jedi way in the movies. But no. Mandalorians were, are, and always will be a human culture. That is the canon. Also Darth Maul can be a Mandalorian for a bit. He earned it.

    I've always disliked Mandalorians. They're up there with Klingons when it comes to completely two-dimensional space warriors.
