It’s worth noting that a BBK will not always improve stopping distances but instead give improved pedal feel and resistance to fade over extended use. Definitely something you want on a track day
Amazing video and love the comparison. It varies if you want to keep the car NA or force induced. Mods you could possibly do are 1. Cold air intake. 2. Exhaust system (with header) 3. Oil catch can 4. One piece aluminium driveshaft 5. Possibly upgrade the rear control arms with poly bushings. 6. Coilovers (Fortune Auto, Qa1, etc) 7. Improve the oiling system with a upgraded oil pan (Moroso maybe) to oil starvation to the engine and engine damage. 8. Performance Aluminium Radiator (Koyorad) 9. Since you are driving the car on the street to get to the track. You could get bucket seats that is not too aggressive but comfortable to drive. Install race harness 10. Weight reduction and removing stuff. 11. Increase chassis stiffness by adding front and rear strut tower brace and possibly adding a roll bar but not a full cage.
I too am looking to do st60 fronts and monoball bushings to control arms (bushings are due for replacement). How did the brake balance feel with doing just front brakes? Did you feel you needed to upgrade the rear as well?
Yep that's on the list of upgrades I gotta do. I also need to brake a tad bit earlier as the oversteer happens when I trail brake too late into the corner.
Great video. What are the specs on your track wheel/tires, are they forged ARC8s? Do you think the ST60 is outperforming the tire grip on hard braking?
18x10 regular ARC8s on NT01 tires. I do think I’m at the limit of grip under braking, but that was the case with the stock brakes on race pads. The ST60s are a lot more controllable and consistent though.
@@bestcoastgarage5896 That’s a good setup. Did you have to run a spacer with the stock wheels and the BBK? I’m thinking of getting the ST60 but I’m not sure if they’ll fit with my stock 220M wheels until I get some other wheels.
@@MolsonM3 The wheels I have on there have a higher offset than stock ones so I didn't need a spacer. I'm fairly sure stock ones should clear it too without a spacer.

Post More videos please. This M3 it's amazing. You did a great job rebuilding it.
Awesome content man! Keep it up. I got an e92 myself and you motivate me to tackle DIY projects

Thanks for the list! I think coilovers, a bit of weight reduction, and cooling might be next. If I feel brave enough, I’ll do subframe bushings too.
beautiful car, and nice driving.
Great work! Turned out looking really good. Just like you :)
Great video can I ask how much pressure did you use in the bottle? What did the gauge say as you bled the system?
Awesome video any time you need body work or paint let me know I'll be happy to help I got a e90m3 and laguna seca is 40min away I'm in gilroy
Whats up dude! Awesome video. You from the bay area?
Yes sir
Can you drop a link for the pink shorts?? Need me a pair of those

Sorry for the late reply, but balance felt fine when everything was warmed up. You'll need more aggressive pads in the rear too.
Now do the rears too!
Are those Avant Garde M359 wheels?
Are you going to upgrade the rear ?
👍👍👍
Great video! I wonder, though - it looked like you were fighting oversteer - do you need to redo the rear-end bushings as well?

What are those hydraulic lifts you have?
