About that tray...it goes on the top of the machine to feed the dough into the rollers...not underneath. Too bad the manufacturer doesn't show that in a photo in the manual.
The plate/tray goes into the top of the machine to help guide the dough into the rollers. Took me awhile to figure out as it's not shown anywhere in the assembly instructions.
We can roll the same dough many times using the machine. Use fresh dough once it gets very dirty. You might need 3-4 small balls of dough to clean the pasta machine before the first use.

I came here to see how the plate is installed... YOU NEVER EVEN ATTACHED IT.. Someone know where I can find out???

Thanks. Great Vid. I made pasta for the first time last night. it was amazing
Thank you!
I’m glad you liked the video. What sauce did you prepare for the pasta?
@@MillennialHomemaker some homemade bolognese that was given to us. Thats next on my list, my own bolognese.
@@rodw4356 awesome.
what's a good formula for the sacrificial dough? i'm assuming it'll just be flour and water with no egg or salt.
😂
Yes. It’s just flour and water.
Though before each use I use a small ball of the pasta dough to clean the rollers the same way.
Good way to put it.😊 I was wondering the same thing. I was like I don't want to waste an egg😂😅

Once the dough comes out dirty should we not put it back into the machine? Should we use a fresh piece of dough each time until it comes out clean?

@@MillennialHomemaker ok good to know...thank you so much😀👍
But then how do you get the dough out of the machine? It sticks in various places. Thanks.
Yes. It’s a pain to clean the machine. I use toothpick/skewers and hair colour brush to clean it.
Thank you!
woow..super useful video 👏👏👏👏👌🏻👍
Thank you
May I ask, why mine is not rolling or something like functioning? I'm meant on the back side where we flat the pasta. Pls answer. Thanks.
Is the crack inserted properly?
Are you able to turn the crank?
@@MillennialHomemaker oh, yes. Tha crack is properly turning. The other one flatter is not. But the other one is turning.
Sounds like a manufacturing defect. Try contacting the seller.
The wheel is not aligned with another. I tried to open it. I think it can be tap or adjust. Hehe.
Bapa Dodz great to know you could fix it. And thank you for updating here👍🏼
