The diary moments are priceless!!! I live for your videos now. They are some of the most positive, family-friendly videos on TH-cam. All I can say is...thanks!
Brilliant 👏🏼👏🏼loved it ! The natural u made 👍🏻 that wasn’t Z for zach, that was Z for zoro 😉 oil that beauty up ! Yous guys put on a great show really enjoyed the 2 takes wooded beardsman and yours 😎
Use a lemon grass, it will make your broth smell nice and also the broth more tastier. Trust me, I'm a Filipino. And that adobo flavor is originally from us.
Adobo isn't Filipino, its spanish. There are Filipino variants, which are delicious, and not like the spanish version. But its originally Spanish. Also, I agree that lemongrass is fantastic and could probably make a soup of any meat taste better.
I’ve been looking for this over a week so happy I found it. I’ll say it a hundred more times but Zach you’re my hero man! you inspire the heck out of me and I’m sure a lot of others. I dream of an adventure like this especially having the opportunity to learn and adventure along side the legend
I love your videos! Binge worthy material for sure! I just received the orange coloured Torque slingshot in the mail a few hours ago, to pay homage to whom I owe the pleasure of knowing about this model, and also to stray away from the usual blackout tactical style I seem to be rocking way too often! The fun thing about this frame is that, in my opinion, it forces you to "feel it", with its many variations in shapes and textures, it feels unnaturally organic:D Almost like a bind man reading Braille!
I agree with Zachary. When making soup out of cooked poultry I always simmer the bones, skin, and fat for a while first, then add the diced meat at the end before serving. That way the meat doesn't over cook. If the meat is tough I would cook it for a while in the soup to tenderize. If starting with raw poultry I make a soup stock out of the less meaty pieces (neck, back, wings, skin, fat, etc.) and roast the meaty parts. You can add the left over cooked meat later to make a good soup. At home I keep a ziplock bag of soup parts in the freezer and when it gets full I make broth. Yum.
I got super excited when Chris asked where you 2 should do the next one! This is hands down in the top 1% of all youtube content! Keep it up. Would love to see a winter adventure,
I love sling shots sir, ived watch your how to shoot a sling shot and it amazed me the way you teached us, "the viewers", i hope i could have one of your cool sling shots😁👼
Being raised in Florida , midstate , I'd like to see them around the Rodman damn area . Great fishing , shrimping and medium size game . No to mention the blue crab . But the sketters will be a challenge .
Thx for your slingshots they work awesome we were getting some and we realized me watch you a lot so we went to your store and bought 2 of your slingshots🤣😂
The turkey was breast was juicy at first because you cooked it properly. Any time you reheat it after it will be tough and dry. In order to get around that, you have to cook it for a longer period of time. This is called braising. Chris was kind of right. Although it has nothing to do with the fat content or letting it rest, although fat is flavor and good calories, so it doesn't hurt to have it. When you cook it will shrink, and tighten up. If you cook it for longer the protein strands and collegen strand will continue to break down and it will become tender. You can cook this until its a sludge, where you can't even tell its a turkey anymore. Cook on a gentle simmer for about and hour to an hour and a half and it should be tender again and you will be able to shred it. This applies with most all meats, but depending of the meat and cut the cook times will vary. The harder working muscles (ei. Legs, stomach, cheek, tongue) of the animals the longer the braise time. The less active muscles (loins, breast) will take a shorter time to braise. Hope this helps you guys enjoy you food more. Adam Meade
if the cat was doing his JOB he wouldn’t have to beg! Ha. Also, I can’t believe you getting these targets with that slingshot though throughout your channel. It’s crazy.
Still think it's hilarious how Sir Beardsman tries so hard to control his comments and opinions when he has different thoughts than Sir Fowler does hahaha
Mr. Beardsman is trying to be respectful but at the same time I feel like Fowler is pretty dismissive of other peoples opinions most of the time . Don't get me wrong Fowler is my boy. It's just something I noticed in his videos with the Beardsman. I feel like maybe he is just uncomfortable with things that aren't in his wheelhouse, which I can understand.
Could you have stuffed turkey with Cattail shoots, they hold a lot of water? You could also look into how different cultures do it, if you've read ray mears wild food they speculate on how people may have consumed food in different ways, really interesting. Also huge fan haha
Squab is the word for the baby pigeon, before it learns to fly, after it begins to fly, it's called a pigeon, it loses muscle mass, that's why people prefer the squab. Great video, by the way, I love these slingshot hunting videos.
Awesome series. Love all the wilderness living challenges. What is the name of the song you played while you were getting dressed and getting the fire going? It starts around the 2 minute mark. Also can you put the songs in the description? Also are you going to start catching lobsters for yourself more often now? Keep up the awesome work on the videos. I’ve enjoyed them all.
I just finished the Beardsmans video. You guys are awesome. Love your version of the series just as much. Cant wait to see the last episode. My guess is you lost 4.5 lbs and Chris lost 3.5 lbs. I just figured you had an extra pound to lose a little easier. Well done sir!!!! Cheers from West Michigan
Loving the videos guys! Used to play with slingshots as a kid and got really good at it. Zach, I was wondering, where can I buy the rubber strips used for making the slingshot? I used to make my own back in the day using tree branch as well or a cut out from a piece of board. Last one I made was in the form of a lobster claw. Thanks guys and stay safe! Btw...where can I buy the clay balls? As a kid in the farm, we used to make our own and bake them in the sun.
Man you inspire me to go outside and start a fire and cook some good food keep up the good work, next survival challenge you should do a Thanksgiving dinner
Best slingshot hunter ever ! I will say that always ! Respect from Azerbaijan 🇦🇿

Walkabout Outdoors I agree
Pigeons looked really good. Your an amazing man, enjoyed this video. Keep em coming.
Those squabs look very appetizing. And being wild, I'm sure they would be quite nutritious.
If the creek water isnt included with the dry turkey I'm out lol. Pigeon have a high fat content. So taste so good.
Really ?
I remember watching my dad and older brother putting in hard work for pigeons. And now they serve them in 5 star restaurants.
Calories on 1lb of squab 873 ,fat calories is 638 or 70 grams of fat, 54 grams of protein. Wow good find boys.
Great vides lads.
That is some nice camping weather in this vid.
The ceremonial breaking of the kindling! Always a fav! 👍
Watching for the 3rd time .. love it. I just ordered 2 of your fire starter necklaces and sent them to my gr sons for their birthdays !
Surprised yal dont do more in-ground dutch oven cooking. Would make many of the game birds and large cuts of red meat much more tender.
Best episode of this series. Love your videos.
I notice that I relax more over time.
One of my favorite thing is your edits when you prepare the fire (especially breaking twigs and branches)
