    I used to have a FLuke thermal. It was a great product. I believe I bought it for about $9,000. It had a fusion system where thermal was fused with visible. I used it to inspect motor control centers, high power connections, fuses etc. It was purchased to replace an old, $50,000 FLIR camera.

    Excellent video presentation, review and comparison.
    Having studied the specifications of various units, the
    UNI-T UNI690b is above average for the price.
    Perhaps not perfect, however at this price it surpasses
    some more expensive units.
    For anyone looking for a less expensive unit, I would sa
    don't waste your $$$ -- One will be happier in the long term
    to invest a little more and buy the UNI-T UNI690b.

I use one of their multimeters for more than 6 years and I am very very happy with it, it was a steal compared to the big name brand F___K__ what were you all thinking!? 😄

    The UTI690B thermal camera (basically the same as video) stopped working after charging it the first time. I was charging it with a wall adapter (only a USB cable is included) and it just doesn't turn on anymore. It's a fantastic camera, and I really enjoyed using it. I expect it's just a bad battery or hopefully just a bad batch.

    • @GabrielKozsar
      @GabrielKozsar 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      yeah , they cheaped out on the charging circuits. It accepts only 5V and recommended max 1A. Anything above 5V (QC) fries the charging mosfet. Price is low but there are a lot of compromises in built quality.

  • @spelunkerd

    What I like most about this is the fact you don't need a phone or computer to use it. On the down side, when the battery fails I wonder how difficult it would be to replace. Also with a fixed focus, I wonder how close it can focus. The real benefit for me would be analysis of circuit boards. Do you think this will focus closely enough to isolate transistors, capacitors, etc?

    fantastic, I have been looking to get a good unit as I am working on new thermal diode designs (passive thermal) that is supposedly impossible according to the laws of entropy but my previous versions over my windows for the last 3 years saving over 200 dollars a month during the hottest months from the AC bill beg to differ, but I really want to refine this and need thermal imaging to properly know what is going on, so tweaking the design will be, hopefully at least, much easier. Thanks so much.

    given the specs for Field Of View (FOV) of 260b vs your older model, i'm surprised when you compare the sample images they look like the FOV is the same between the cameras. I would expect the FOV of the newer camera to be 5/3 more....(50deg / 30 deg) Do you have any explanation for this? it seems like manufacturers specs are often not reliable and is most likely the case here.

      Hantek scopes are awesome and can't beat the price.
      I left mine in storage for years when I was out of the country. Came back, finding my tools rusted, my electronics DOA from failed lithium cells / corrosion.
      But my hantek scope booted up immediately.. it still had 75% charge!
      I think this is because they wisely use a mechanical on/off switch.. so there is ZERO parasitic draw on the batteries.
      Super reliable, and it had all the functions of models three times as expensive.
      They are definitely a good buy.

      Ok, I looked at AliExpress. The HT-02 is available for €175 while the Uni-T was just shy of €300 (on AliExpress)
      Via the affiliate link in the description and using the discount code it’s only € 284,67 shipped.
      Well worth the price difference imo.

    Good presentation 👍.
    The InfiRay C210 (or C200) is a bit better, clean manufactuer from the sensor too (same is in the UNI-T uti260b) and the PC-software is way better.
    I have the UNI-T but i have some unpurities on sensor or inside cover glass, as others... they open up and clean it up... I think InfiRay as a manufactuer of world class sensors is clean assembling and do not mess with there own sensors.

      I was about to purchase the UNI690B until I seen your comment.....now I am a bit confused......I cant the C210 anywhere to purchase......and the C200 looks to be same specs as the 690B.....so you would recommend the C200 over the 690B?....Can you clarify a little more as to why??

    • @topeye4202
      @topeye4202 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@atillakolik7321 The C210 only has better real picture resolution as the C200, the infrared resolution is the same. With other words a difference that dont really matter. PC Software from InfiRay is far better. InfiRay's after sale service seems to be good too, they gave me promt answers and give two years guarantee.
      I would definitively prefer the Infiray C200 to the UNI-T 690b, they are assembled clean together and the Software is real professional. The battery life from InfiRay also is much longer 11 hrs instead just 4 hrs. Also boot up is much faster at the Infiray, just 10 seconds compared to 20 or more at the UNI-T.

      What’s a shadow ban?

    • @bluedistortions
      @bluedistortions ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mmadlang2 if a platform directly bans a content creator, like when Twitter banned Milo Younioplous (not sure how to spell?) he and his followers raised a massive stink. That stink may have influenced their whole company being bought out by Elon Musk.
      So rather, most platforms prefer to "shadow" ban. It's when you're not directly banned from posting content, and viewers aren't directly banned from watching.. but notifications are blocked. So this means subscribers don't know when new content is coming out and the content is also not suggested on the feed. This means only hardcore fans will manually search out for new vids.. and thus views (and ad revenue) is reduced by about 95%. Enough to make video production unprofitable, and force the creator to quit.
      That's shadow banning. I was shadow banned when I made posts criticizing modern feminism. In the modern era, if the opposition can't refute you, they will suppress you.

    The true infrared resolution is 80 x 60

    • @electronicsNmore
      @electronicsNmore  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If the HT-02 is 3600 (60x60), and you see how poor the resolution is, and the UNI-T has a beautiful well resolved image, it can't be 4800 pixels. The manual says
      IR resolution of 256x192, 49,152 pixels, that makes more sense.

      What you fail to grasp is that the USA gas been exploited to the max for over two centuries.
      The Elite bankers have grander plans with a greater population that can be exploited.
      Since the Dumbing down of the USA started in (c) 1970 the country has been progressively
      dismantled. The process is almost complete.
      There is no going back. It is now past the point of no return.
      The people have to accept that fact.
