why does religious radicalism attract young people?

I think its because they are looking for a way to create change by all means possible hence this becomes attractive because it offers guidance and hope for a better future compared to other means available.

@@JupiterSportsTV Many thanks Joshua. What can we do to eliminate radicalization then?

@@DWThe77Percent allow change especially in the economic aspect. The major reason why its hard for such ideologies such as radicalization in 1st world countries it's because of economical development we legging behind as Africa this changes, I believe radicalization will become a thing of the past. Same as some middle east parts they have the same issues as Africa.

It has a lot to do with poverty. Terrorism is perceived as easy path to earn a living

As a complete outsider digging this program: It seems to me that "talking to each other" is one of your great strenghts. You guys might be sceptical of Western Democracy. But in the distance I can see that one day we Europeans and everybody else might learn how to do democracy better. Maybe a very differently structured form of democracy, maybe not.
These young people show traits that African countries and Africans may be admired for in the future!
Anyways, to me this is what makes the continent great much more than any boring shiny new high riser, that every city in the world has nowadays.
    Greetings from a bystander!

I did not want to say that Africa must have democracy btw. Maybe one could misunderstand.

Many people in East Africa seem to have the bit between the teeth! Does it also mean 'luck' in these places? 🍀
