Seriously though. I started realizing months ago. Like they actually running plays. Every position is a real play that they run. It’s just to us we walking people dribble dunk and shoot. An so I realize on defense they actually really playing defense it’s just the offense is better they picking apart the defense to score. Like playing basketball your doing it without even noticing but watching it you forget these are professionals. They actually every second of every play is focused asf an tryna score or steal the ball. These niggas really nice that’s for all sports and athletes

@@paulcrawford4155 exactly bro. It’s a whole other level. Like ppl would cast off shumpert as a role player but the amount of detail he is talking about to play defense is crazy. Even crazier is that Kobe recognized he was counting his dribbles and adjusted that fast. Another crazy story is Giannis describing what went through his mind on the blocked Ayton dunk. Like these guys really playing chess and we think it’s just athleticism.

@@paulcrawford4155as an athlete this is why we don't take avg Joe's seriously. You jus explained it perfectly. You are just now truly seeing the game think about how most fans and even tv analysis don't know wtf they talking bout...jus watching. Never been in the game before. Never been a leader of other men on a team. We really doing that shit in real time but it's watched to the fan as guys jus playing a game they love. They don't even understand it's a war on that court/field. Real humans tryna dominate each other... Knowing they're being watched and judged

When he tells stories about how he studies other players dribble tendencies and counting dribbles and anticipating other players go-to size up moves , you would think Shump is the greatest defender in history and has a bunch of DPOY trophies or all defensive team accolades. But he doesn’t lol
When you go back and actually watch him play you’d see that He was a decent defender at best. And mostly gave up a lot of fouls and and-1s because he was always to anxious to swipe at the ball while shooters were rising up for a shot
