Ayakashi Triangle Is Coming To English Weiss Schwarz! Why Not Blue Archive, Oshi No Ko, & Frieren?

Weiss Schwarz English is releasing Ayakashi Triangle on August 16th. Preorders for this card collection is available until April 5th. There will be a booster box and trial deck. This announcement by Bushiroad had many confused or angry since there are other anime titles such as Oshi No Ko and Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. They could have went with the popular mobile game Blue Archive.
Even though Ayakashi Triangle is not a popular anime, it is categorized on MyAnimeList as Genres: Action, Comedy, Romance, Supernatural, Ecchi
Themes: Magical Sex Shift, Mythology. The card art is what some people will be looking for their card collections.
Weiss Schwarz is still reprinting Oshi No Ko, Frieren, and Blue Archive.
Signature Cards in the booster box for Ayakashi Triangle are by the Voice Actresses which include:

Totally makes sense to keep English release order the same, and release Ayakashi before Blue Archive. I typically don't do English releases anymore, cuz cases are difficult to get at a good price. Too much risk as a seller cuz the per-box price is usually much higher than JP.

thanks for bringing that part up. i couldnt figure out why the new jp cases are so much cheaper even though they are supposed to be priced the same. do u know why? do u think the price will come down when we switch to those boxes?

@@BigBAnimeTCG it’s the exchange rate, which is like an automatic 1/3 off the price, which after shipping ends up being probably 20-25% off. Plus the card quality on JP has cone a long way, so there isn’t a huge gap in terms of quality anymore. Case prices seem to be pretty similar with the new 24 box format.

@DanielByon so they built that in now. i know before the new format it didnt change so i was just surprised by it since all the sellers changed. i guess they could have all looked at each other. it was just wishful thinking by me that one day itll go down

@@BigBAnimeTCG yea you would think with the 25% reduction of packs per box and corresponding (JP) MSRP adjustment, market price for boxes would go down 25%, but it hasn’t really worked out that way. Boxes still sell for around 60-65. Case ratios seem to still be the same, with card captor being 1 SSP 2 SP per case, which as a buyer is super rough. Blue archive has 4 SP per case, but that’s because there’s like 60 or so SPs in the set, like Hololive.

i feel like they totally botched the releases and we havent seen the price reduction yet or places just know they can still sell it high. i was hoping for more sp rates but they have been pretty stingy.
Rascal Set rate should be interesting: 4 ABR, 5 SP, 7 OFR. maybe 5 or 6 high rarities. any lower than that and they are just milking it.

they know what some people want. the problem with frieren is the booster box isnt even out in jp. that just adds to how much longer before it comes out. that is unless you are ok with a td first release and months later a booster box. im not sure on that myself.

I am waiting on my Japanese Frieren. I will most likely buy a case of english when it comes out. That is to date my thee most favorite anime with Solo Leveling as a close second.

To be honest it feels dead because we got spy x family, chainsaw man, and lycoris recoil back to back and now we have to wait a long time before getting more anime sets that aren't bocchi the rock and jojo reprint. (well probably get the jojo sets which is cool). I feel like its a horrible season for sellers.

they get a repeat of the first half of 2023. I think a bunch dropped out and others are being very careful about sets.
