Next time you're picking up your 'breakfast pack' keep an eye out for 'Dumpling' or Clootie Dumpling. It looks like slices of fruit cake, which it sort of is. Fry it up in some butter till it's got a slightly crispy crust & add it to your breakfast next to the yolky fried egg 😁 or save it for dessert (again, fried in a bit of butter) with some thick cream or hot custard. I've no idea why it works for both it just does.

I think you had the, 'fruit pudding' that was in the pack. Clootie Dumpling is different. More like a heavy cake. 😊@@EvanandLemon
And theres better bread than that you have there. Warburtons or Hovis or even Aldis own Toastie bread is good for off the shelf. That Tescos bread is terrible, I no longer even shop there, Aldi or Morris ons seem better quality and tastier these days.

If you get the chance get all those breakfast items from a butcher. Most quality butchers will make their own. Every butcher's stuff tastes slightly different. But it is always better than anything you can buy in a shop. 😊

Make sure you take photos of every panel on that van, Indi Campers are notorious for claiming for false damage and keeping your deposit!! It has happened to me, and a few friends, just be careful guys. Enjoy your trip in Scotland.
