What a fascinating journey!! I am amazed that there is transport available even in these inhospitable and remote regions. The train looks clean and well maintained, the people are so friendly too!
Actually Salekhard is no longer isolated from the rest of the world during spring and autumn because the highway from Tobolsk was finally constructed this year. Also keep in mind there is an airport and howercraft services across the river available even during ice drifting. Unlike Vorkuta, Salekhard is booming city because it was based on gas production and have a port on a Northern Sea Route.
This channel is so good! I love how you genuinely show us parts of Russia that are not very much known and it's so interesting. I'm from Peru, I've only seen snow once when traveling across the Andes Mountains so seeing such a harsh winter is a new experience for me. I also like a lot how you, unlike other channels, aren't obnoxious or offensive towards the locals; in fact, you are very respectful towards them and I appreciate that a lot. Very well done. I'm always amazed at how developed and how civil the far north of Russia is in comparison to northern regions of Canada. Canada has no railways that run north to south, everything is east west, the passenger service for a country as vast as here is a joke.
I was also surprised that they use a nice hovercrafts as some sort of public transport to get to the other city, instead of building the bridge for example. Looks so cool!

im very picky with these kind of videos on who i watch but really enjoy yours. If i could give you minor suggestion tho, just for the audiences benefit... I think if you made the subtitle colour different for the person you are talking too, it would be a small but good change. Maybe Yellow for you and Blue for them, something like that lol its nothing that takes away from the video being all yellow but think it would help some folk out to differentiate between the two :)
