Lane centering. Awesome.
Right? The more I use the adaptive cruise and centering systems the more I like them. It'd be crazy to see Ford introduce the hands free BlueCruise system in the Mustang too
The shaking steering wheel drives me nuts. I keep thinking I did something wrong and I lost control of the car. Steve, I notice in your video that the "Trip 1" is displayed on your center screen. Thankfully I managed to disable this annoying view. However now I am saddled with the "Tire Pressure" in its place on the center screen. Okay, how do I disable viewing this pain-in-the neck display? Thanks again for all your help.
You're welcome! Turn off the lane keeping system, that's what's doing it! Cover that off in the video on the infotainment: th-cam.com/video/sZH96EnlHlg/w-d-xo.html - that video also covers off customizing the instrument cluster but you can tweak the settings under Settings --> Instrument Cluster
@@CarsWithSteve Steve, you've done it again. You helped me with setting up the radio controls and now this worthwhile advice. Ford should just offer a physical Owner's Manual and just put me out of my misery.
Haha, awesome! Unless you knew what you were looking for you would have been searching for a while, glad that worked
I agree an old-style owner's manual would have been a lot better. I'm 61 and was on the highway today and I could not figure out how to set the cruise control on my dark horse so now I'm here lol.@@maxgottfried
does the US/CA models have automatic folding mirrors ?
Manual folding only for the Mustang...
my lane assistance says it’s on but it’s not throwing me back in the lane . ever since i changed my rims it’s been acting up . any help
How do you have it set up though? Features --> Driver Assistance --> Lane Keeping System
I cover the infotainment system off in this video - Driver Assistance is around the 32 min mark

Do you have a video showing how to use voice commands?
I haven't done one on voice commands yet. There are so many things you can do though... This article goes through some of the options though --> carswithsteve.com/sync-4-voice-commands/
Hello, I have about the same system for adaptive cruise control along with tolerance which I cannot get to hold at 3 mph over it. Always sinks back to 2 mph over after I get out of the car and get back in again. What's wrong?
That's odd.. the setting should stay the same when the car is turned back on again. I'll have to see if I can replicate it and will circle back if I figure it out
How did you fix the keep hands on the wheel thing from beeping constantly
Timing 😉 You have 10-15 seconds before you get the message for hands on the wheel and you can grip or apply pressure on the top or bottom of the wheel
I have a question. Is there anyways you can reprogram the key? I want to let my niece borrow the car but I want to set the speed limit of the key to 90mph only
The last gen Mustang you could program in a MyKey with certain limitations but I don't think it was brought forward to the 2024 model
@@CarsWithSteve ye I tried to looks for some video but I always ended up with old model. Thank you for replying tho, good video
Thanks.. it does look like MyKey wasn't brought to the new S650. Such a weird choice for Ford to not have that
Does it gives us compleate stop if the front of car stops?
Yes it would. It'll probably freak you out the first time because it gets close but you can ride the brake if you want to
@@CarsWithSteve thank you
anytime
@@CarsWithSteve Does it auto go again without driver input if the car in front moves again after X (2s?) seconds of stop (commonly referred to as Stop and Go function)?
Why doesn't the 24 mustang have blue cruise?
I hate the adaptive cruise control on my wife’s Altima so l’m glad there’s a way to turn this off.
I'm usually not a fan either unless I'm road tripping
Too bad they are not available to the manual transmission.
Adaptive cruise is but the paddles would defeat the purpose of having the stick shift. Although it would be kind of neat to have a manual transmission that can be shifted using the traditional shifter or paddles
I don’t think so , it sucks I don’t want or need this bull shit I can drive , only a millennial Moran will like this
How about people with disabilities who still want to be able to experience the drive of a Mustang?
