    I think they have a really nice product. Having said that, without a dealership network and parts availability and the necessary experienced technicians, it leads me to feel likeI am alone out in the wilderness without support.
    I like the idea of these brands coming along and giving John Deere and Kubota competition.
    Glad you got your tractor back and hope that it gives you endless hours of service with no problems.

    I did my 50 service myself and I have 150hrs on my RK37HC no problems except on the 50 I had problems finding the hydraulic filter they changed it to a different design and no one had it in stock at the time had to call the Manufacturer in Waverly ohio where they biuld them and had it shopped to the house.. I also watch outdoors with the Morgan's and I have the Totes as well I use them for fire wood and the tanks I cut the top of them off and use them as Raised beds for growing vegetables I find the one that were used as food grade or had Fertilizer in them.. also as a mechanic I think you had a injector stick the way you described it I believe that was the issue so dirt my had caused the problem it my not ever do it again but only time will tell.. I can't wait to start my channel in the spring.. as always god bless and stay safe from the buckeye state...

      A sticking injector would definitely make sense. Hopefully I don’t have any more issues with it but now I have confidence my engine is not blowing up lol.
      Yeah these had pretty rough chemicals in them at one time, so I will have to get rid of the plastic portions. I was able to get them very cheap because of that though. God bless brother, looking forward to seeing your channel!

    The thing I love about the RK argument is the soul of a tractor is the power train and the fact that it’s power train is is the same as JD you can’t beat that.. if it was a infector issue you coulda had the same issue if you bought the JD

    Yeah it sucks when your tractor is down! I have had my Kioti for 120 hours now and no problems. I did the 50 hour maintenance myself and replace all the fluids and filters. The tractor sounded better after I did that too! I don’t know if they use different viscosity fluids for break in period. All in all the tractor allows me to do more! My brush piles that I am going to burn after the first snow fall are huge! Can’t wait!

    • @MaynardFamilyHomestead

      Ive been curious about the Kioti tractors, wondering if they were decent.
      I’m looking forward to getting some rain this week, I’ve had a burn pile that I’ve needed to get rid of for about six months but it’s been too dry. With this hurricane coming we might actually get a little rain.

    If mechanical support is not there on RK tractors I will not buy one unless a TYM dealer will be willing to take over the Maintenance end on these Tractors, if not then I will either buy an American Tractor used.

    Not related to a tractor but similar situation. My wife' s Hyundai had her engine replaced with a new engine at 50,000 miles by the dealer. So I wanted the dealer to do all future service in case there was a problem with the new engine. Every time the oil was changed in the new engine the next day I would check the oil, car sitting the garage. Always showed overfilled. One year later the engine developed a oil leak. Dealer said oil pan gasket. I thought remove pan clean both surfaces and replace gasket. Nope replace oil pan and charge me 400.00 dollars. I still say leak was caused by an overfilled engine oil. Never trust the dealership. No more Hyundai's for me.

    Not trying you what to do, but I hope you do not let your tractor sit with implements still raised. That will take a toll on seals and O rings , which could eventually cause leaks in the system.

    That poor litte Rk37 got "roasted,toasted,& jolted" in the HOT SUN,just when approaching a "regen" when it was "slamed" up againt the governor; running at "full-steam" & even pumping the air conditioning at FULL POWER. Those HEAVY windrows had it "gasping fer every breath", meanwhile keeping you "refreshed & Cool". Well Sir l believe you "hit the nail on the head" when said " maybe l need a bigger tractor"; or at least "fortify the power" by turning the air conditioning OFF- OFF- OFF; when Full power is Demanded. My calculations concluded a saturation of horsepower deficiency, external heat, internal cabin cooling & a power hungry bailer ( it was rocking & jolting the tractor) the whole time. Much lighter rows would of helped!- as so would of a intercooler turbo-super-charger , bigger oil coolers, & a super "high-grade" sythetic crankcase oil ( no "el-cheepo,rot-gut)[ most likely]. Thank you Sir for the Excelent vidio and happy safe tractoring. Best wishes with all your endeavours.

    I realize this is a 4 month old video, but I would advise ANYONE to think REALLY hard about buying a RK tractor. For me it's a HARD NO. Service and parts are a HUGE part of owning a tractor. My local RK has one mechanic. And that mechanic isn't some world class mechanic. If you break down, you are in trouble.
    I went to a Kubota for the parts/mechanic reasons AND because the finance on a RK actually makes the cost more than a comparable Kubota. 0% for 84 months (Kubota) VS 7.5% with RK. Over that period of time, you are looking at a large difference in price. Kubota was only a few thousand more. I saved 7K over the long haul.
    These clowns that you are relying on to "fix" your RK tractor are incompetent. So that means YOU are doing all the wrench work, or paying someone else while you are supposed to have a warranty. .

    • @MaynardFamilyHomestead
      @MaynardFamilyHomestead  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah it’s a little frustrating to say the least. Once Covid hit parts became almost impossible to find. The employees at Rural King are very frustrated with corporate because they’re not listening to them about getting a supply of parts on hand. If they don’t get their act together I don’t see RK tractors lasting very long. They were pretty good in the beginning, but went downhill fast.

    • @jamesw.3491
      @jamesw.3491 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MaynardFamilyHomestead I get it. I'm sorry you are going through it. When you depend on your equipment to get the work done, it's not good when it's dead in the water. Hopefully there is at least a learning lesson in this. I know when I worked full time in farming, there was a reason most farmers bled green. Other brands weren't necessarily bad, but having parts in a day was better than waiting a week sometimes with other colors, especially at harvest or planting season.
