Can we all agree Tom Hiddleston is a goat? He is so consistently good at whatever he needs to be. Mean, scared, vulnerable, happy, sad, it doesn't matter they're all real on his face. This show could've been 60 minutes of him pulling different faces and I still would've been like, damn I can't *wait* for episode 2.

20:15 It's one of the moments I feel like was glossed over the most by people watching this. Him saying "glorious purpose" here. He's mocking himself. Commenting on the futility of all the selfish pursuits he devoted his life to. Seeing it all come to nothing. Realizing what a fool he was. This is amazing, because we are now looking at a Loki with no discernable future here. Stripped of his delusions about himself. He can't return to his timeline, since it's already been reset. Plus he's already seen what his future would be. So, even if they don't erase/reset him, what is his life now? It will be very interesting to see that play out. Plus the act of literally confronting himself at some point. Likely in the form of a female Loki. As far as watching the entire MCU, that is a lot for anyone to undertake. What I will say is at the beginning of the pandemic I finished off the few movies I hadn't seen. But then WandaVision started and my wife decided she wanted to watch all of them. We watched all 23 movies in 2 weeks. I did get a lot more out of the movies and the context of the MCU overall by rewatching them in order from the beginning. Things I'd forgotten. Things I didn't understand as well out of context. If you're up for it, I feel like it is worthwhile in order to have an overall complete context for the universe going forward.

I know you said that you don't read the comics, but you might enjoy the 2014-2015 comic series Loki: Agent of Asgard. It was really one of the first times in the comics that they explored the layers of Loki's character. There is a collected volume of the whole story and it really is sooo good. I'm hoping they adapt even half the content of it into his MCU series.
Also. I think of it this Way The TVA HQ is maybe a place outside of space/Time continuum.That could explain why his powers do not work. Imo they have multiple Infinity Stones because either they took them from variants who shouldn't have posessed them (like ,ou said) or they are remains of some alternete timeline they reset (my guess ) maybe the truth is both 😂
When I first saw all the infinity stones just chilling in the desk I couldn't help but think of Vision and how his death was so pointless in comparison.
I can't believe my recommendations show me your channel just today but I loooove it. I'm sure you know this already but I absolutely love that loki had the best soundtrack, composed by Natalie Holt, the show was beautifully directed by Kate Herron (both women!), and produced by Tom Hiddleston himself (the biggest loki fanboy out here). I think the love for the MCU and for loki was shown in the series. It felt like a love letter to them both.

I have a theory about TVA location might be found through the quantum world which Scott Lang talk about time is much different there and Mobius said the same thing about this place time. We know that the villain in the next Antman movie Kang who is a known time traveler and might show up or mention in this series and some are saying one of the statues of TVA timekeepers look like Kang the time conqueror from the comics and the female judge has a romantic relationship with him in the comics. Predictions Loki fall in love with a version of himself staying true to him being a narcissist and KC being the new Marvel breakout star hopefully get a tasty salmon dish..
The marvel shows are giving me something that Marvel hates, but I love: predictability. I actually LIKE that I see clues and have a payoff (like, I suspected it was Loki in the church bc there were hints, then in the end I get it. But this Loki is not shown, and I hope is Lady Loki, which is canon not only in the comics, but also in Norse mithology, and i really hope I'm right). Producers and writers are always trying to escape our predictions and that kind of sucks, bc they want to be mindblowing and end up not making sense. This show to me (even just one episode in) is the PERFECT balance of having things I can predict and having mindblowing twists that leave me like "ok I have NO IDEA where do we go from here" For now I know they are going for the Mutiverse of Madness thing that we already know involves Wanda, her kids and Strange, and I'm sure they'll use it to fit the TVA there, but apart from that, I have no idea what they are going to do with Loki. I hope Tom Hiddleston keeps this role but that's just cause I love his performance so much. I just hope they get back to the D. B. Cooper thing. That was such a funny gag to just leave it at that. I hope Loki messing with the timeline give us Loki being involved in every unsolved case possible.
I think the Marvel shows are much more palatable thing to put on your channel as opposed to whole MOVIES! There's only been three Marvel Disney TV shows in the form of WandaVision, Falcon/Winter Soldier, and now Loki as opposed to the 20 plus movies out there. TV shows are also nice as they have episodes which make for logical stopping points in your viewing and in the case of Loki being a brand new show it's the perfect time to get in when everyone is buzzing about what's happening in the episodes and looking for places to discuss them.

Movies like Forbidden Planet, Logan's Run (those would be interesting to react to), the Jetsons, or games like Fallout. It's also why everything is Orange. Because for some reason, they thought it was a high energy futuristic color back then :P
