I genuinely miss the horror of season 1. It faded to nostalgia baiting way too fast. I really hope the latest and possibly last season returns to horror elements.

When this first came out and i watched it, I was having some odd electrical problem with the lights in my house, specifically the restroom lights. Those scenes with lights flickering immersed me so much. Scared to take a bathroom break because i knew the 6 or 8 bulbs were going to fIicker and scare me. 😅
Agreeing with a lot that's said here, just pointing out that, having witnessed both years 1973 and 1983, no days are really ever way back in the past completely, but they live with you. 1983 seems like yesterday now to me and even 1973 is not just a memory. Shows like this take one back to younger days in your life. Ppl may say that about this show later, too.

I'm like you, I heard so much about this I finally gave in and watched. I was blown away and binged the full 3 seasons in about a few days. Eleven is the reason, my heart broke for her, I just wanted to see her with people who loved and wanted to take care of her, to have a home and to have a normal kid's life, well as normal as you can have in a series like this.
