I just checked your channel to find if there's any new video, and luckily you just uploaded one. Thanks for everything you do, and introducing us into the world of fine-dining.
This channel has quickly became one of my top 3 channels in both travel and food. Have watched all of the videos over the last 3 weeks and am excited to see this year!
I was waiting for this one! Great video! By the way, reindeer is not running around in the forests here in Norway. They run around in the mountains, well above the tree line.
Always look forward to your videos. Amazing production quality in addition to giving us a glimpse into these meals. I also appreciate your honesty and willingness to simply say you didn't enjoy something, and you always say it with tact. Cheers and best of luck with your own businesses.
Alexander, I just have to say that you’re probably my favourite new TH-cam channel. I love your videos and you have inspired me tremendously to get more into the culinary arts, fine-dining and the wine world. You totally deserve the huge success your channel has had and I hope it continues to grow so that it inspires more people. I hope one day I can visit your restaurant in Hungary. Cheers mate, keep the videos coming!
My head is still spinning from the huge variety of exquisite top offering there. From Viking beginnings to top of the world cuisine. Well done. The Reindeer Fillet looks so delicious.

I Love your reviews, you tell it like it is and give an honest opinion. Just fantastic keep going my friend.
I often watch Beardmeatsfood and after that your channel...and there is no better way to understand the difference between filling a stomach and Indulging in a splendid culinary experience
Hi Alexander, always a great video as always, having had the chance to see the evolution of your videos practically from the beginning is fantastic! I am wondering if you plan on visiting one day one of the main pilars of traditionnal michelin kitchen at the Bocuse restaurant, more traditionnal than some of the younger kitchen but with a lot of history
Thank you as always. I feel like the pacing on this video was a lot faster. I personally prefer the slower pacing with more space and time to appreciate each course, wine, and the occasional story. I don’t mind a longer video, if the result is a more immersive video.
Great channel and review. For a urban area with only about 250 000 , Stavanger had 6 Michelin stars. Only Oslo has more stars in Norway. They have a Omakase bar with one star, a wine bar with a star snd a traditional modern fine dining restaurant with a star. They also have a vegan fine dining restaurant in the Michelin guide.
Really love your videos! Amazing to see so many places from around the world. Was also fun to see a couple of wines from ZA, my home country. Think we have a couple of underrated wines that can compete on the international stage! Would love to be able to send you some to give a taste!
That DOES it! Now I have to watch some freaky eaters and funny cat videos, because this made me extraordinarily hungry 😂 I love reindeer btw, and they don`t run around in the forest, they`re adapted to arctic conditions ;)
This is a wonderful review of an obviously great restaurant. I’ve noticed that sommeliers are tending to match Sauternes with a dessert. While nothing is incorrect as long as you enjoy the experience, this seems to limit the range of this great wine. Besides foies gras and blue cheeses, they can pair this superb wine with certain seafood or water fowl. This wine has a far broader versatility than what these sommeliers are making use of.
THE ATTENTION GAME! ‘T nonnetje in Harderwijk Netherlands At ’t Nonnetje in Harderwijk, Chef Michel van der Kroft crafts exquisite dishes with passion and inspiration, blending Dutch culinary traditions with international influences. His two-Michelin-starred cuisine reflects a deep respect for seasonal ingredients, artistry, and bold flavors, offering a dining experience that is both refined and heartfelt.
As someone that worked in fine dining most of my adult life studying wine, cocktails, and food, I truly adore your videos. We both have math degrees, so that is awesome too!
Fantastic video! Have you got any plans of visiting Steirereck in Vienna? It's the newest 3 Michelin Star restaurant in Austria and also ranked 22nd on the 50 best Restaurants list! Would be awesome to get a video from there
Would it be possible to have a meal without alcohol? Some of the restaurants you have featured previously have a non-alcoholic pairing, and it would be great to showcase more of this. Also, it seems like a lot of the fine dining restaurants you feature rely heavily on truffles and fish, but not everyone is a fan of these :-). Regardless, thank you for your excellent channel and particularly your kind words when describing dishes not to your taste...your rhetoric is a "master class" on how to give feedback. Hope you will come to Toronto one day (we do have some Michelin-starred restaurants).
Wow no only the chef owner is Norway Bocuse ‘d’or president. And the head chef is this year Bocuse d’Or candidate for Singapore. Excellent choice, thanks for sharing.
I'm just a random guy, but I hope a viewer is an owner of a Texas BBQ joint and recommends you. Some of the meat there is undoubtedly Michelin star levels of delicious in my eyes.
Nice hotel, and I checked the rates on that penthouse too for anyone that’s interested. Honestly, five to fifty-five-hundred usd per night for that penthouse for two groups (since two bedrooms) splitting the nightly rate is actually not bad🤷🏻♂️ I think I’d personally prefer something with a bit more Skandinavian character though, maybe renting out one of those cute, colorful buildings on that street if available!!!
I opened the video, but its relatively new at 15 minutes since release; I find it’s best to let young AtG videos breathe for at least 30 minutes to let the flavor profile properly align and enhance the experience.
You NEED to come to Iceland and dine at ÓX! … I know it’s not three star but it does have a * but belive me it is a dining experience you will NOT regret!
Fantastic video, however, I cannot wrap my head around your dislike of reindeer meet. Taste is in the the palate of the taster, but still (men læll). Reindeer is definitely on of my favorite game meets, mildly seasoned and shown a birch charcoal fire trough some binoculars, and for good sake no sauce, it is so lovely. Then again I might be weird.
Stavanger is the gastronomic capital of Norway! It’s a beautiful place to visit and the city actually celebrates its 900 year anniversary this year. There a lot of fantastic restaurants, beautiful buildings, history, culture and of course breathtaking nature. Norway is also on a discount ssince the Norwegian krone is at an all time low against dollars and euros.

Great idea from the ATG team! Though as someone who watches your content while eating potato chip, my recommendations will have to be few and far-
I'm happy to see you back. These every month posts not helping your channel grow. Seen others grow faster with regular postings.

Same😂
That smile in the thumbnail says everything, from Norway myself and love watching your videos

Incredible find! The restaurant is gorgeous. Thank you Alexander for sharing.

I was looking for that comment.

first video of 2025 was a banger

Would be hilarious to have them join eachother for an episode.
What a feast for the eye, Alexander. And I could almost taste the dishes. Thank you for another great episode!

@Alexander - really appreciate the attention to wines in your videos. Keep the content coming!
We always L❤VE you videos! Thanks for the originality of bringing the best of culinary excellence .
Great video. Keep up the good work Alexander.
8:40 Never thought I would see a beautiful dish of 'squid rosettes' and think 'I got to try that!'
I wouldn’t watch such videos without the enthusiasm brought by the host. It’s a delight to see Alexander be delighted
Excellent as always!
Alexander, your channel is the best channel in TH-cam. You are amazing! Keep the good work!
Brilliant restaurant, really enjoy your channel, keep going
What an outstanding series of dishes !
Thank you. Simply outstanding!!
I am so enthralled! Something else to work hard to.
Whaaaaat!? Reindeer is soooooo gooood😮
My local 3 star, welcome and thanks for reviewing :D
same
Finally a new video 🥂
Wow……what an amazing array of flavors!
If there was a three michelin approved youtube channel for fine dining, this would be the one.
The coche dury meursault was such a steal!
I will recommend Kvitnes Gård, no stars yet, but absolutely amazing food. Well worth two stars.
this^^

Eating my homemade Kraft dinner watching this and i gotta say, can't complain!
That DOES it!

Finally 🙏✌🏻 a new video
This was new for me😁 i thought Maemo was the only 3 star we had here. Impressive that they also managed to get it!
Great Video, love your content :)
Would love to hear your take on "the table" in Hamburg

Love Norway!
Wish I could move there!
Great restaurant and very well made video. Almost as I was there for a moment and got a taste of it.
( I mean, I couldn’t afford it, but still😊 )
... "Alex in wonderland" - awesome place :D Thank you for sharing!
I lovveeeee these Videos
Finally a new video!
A Michael Ligier video and an Alexander the Guest video within 24 hours? Damn, I feel lucky today.
Wonderful.❤❤❤

I hade the same dinner the 19 sept 2024, great meal.🤩🤩

Reindeer don't live in forests, they live in tundra-like areas with sparse vegetation
Uni, shrimp, green strawberry and finger lime? What a wild combo, I would be really curious how that bite plays out.
nice, I wish I was your undercover scout that gets to try in advance these places and make recommendations when you have dilemmas!
Welcome to Norway 🥰

Just letting you know that we really like your attires.
Proud Norwegian! 🇳🇴 Thanks for yet another great video 🤩
Thank you 🫵🙄
Looks like a wonderful meal. However, a 1988 Leoville-las-Cases is not a syrah from California.
Wow no only the chef owner is Norway Bocuse ‘d’or president. And the head chef is this year Bocuse d’Or candidate for Singapore. Excellent choice, thanks for sharing.

what is the proper etiquette for using a spittoon?
I wonder about that as well 🤔✍️😆
There is none. I refuse to use them at tastings for hygienic reasons.

Head chef Mathew Leong is competing for Singapore in Bocuse D’or today!
anyone know the background audio at the start? Alexander and team able to help? cheers!
I still think you are a Michelin guide reviewer in disguise 😄

Was there the day after you 🤩
I would go there just for the bread!
You NEED to come to Iceland and dine at ÓX!
… I know it’s not three star but it does have a * but belive me it is a dining experience you will NOT regret!
What is the spittoon for?
That Is my home City .-))) but what was the spittoon for ?

was the sea urchin from norway?
Please go to chapter one in Dublin
Great!
Watching this while eating packaged ramen in bed with a glass of boxed wine.
Nice video, but; Who doesn't eat ice cream in winter? That's like not eating hot food in summer. Both are delicious year round.
It would be nice to add the wine list in the description, it would make my life easier 😅
Live the quality, but maybe ND filters for the panning shots...
Wow!!!!
Thanks for your work 😉
Come to Ukraine 🇺🇦
LETS GOOOOO
wasnt really interested in any kind of fine dining I barely go to restaurants in general but these videos are actually pretty interesting 😂
hello why the hell this video is auto dubbed and how can i hear the original audio ?
the first bites looked a lil over done but once the main dishes came out it was game on.
Is that a hair? In the second plate?
Pls ask ur editor to write the name of the foods besides them

No way, it is Oslo.
A Question From a Chef... Does a $80 dollar or euro spoon make home made Ice Cream taste Better?
The fact that he had to get a spittoon because there was too much wine 😅
75NOK for an espresso and 95NOk for tea is an rip-off XD
I am!
