the teaser was EXACTLY why i was ATTRACTED to this song immediately after the album was released. i heard the bass and the chorus "standing next to youuu", my ears perked up and i said MHM THAT ONE IS IT. my ears just knew this one would be funky and catchy.
though I'm a big fan, my ears are picky with instruments and vocals. there's things that my ears just enjoy, makes me wanna dance. JUNGKOOK SLAYED THIS. referencing BTS and ARMY all throughout the song and choreo. I'm a slave to this songs rhythm. IDC ITS GOLDEN

After this song came out, it was my top favourite among all this solo releases from the "Golden" album... UNTIL I actually listened to ALL the songs in the album. Just like how it's possible to be bias-wrecked when it comes to BTS, trust me it's also possible to be song-wrecked after listening to all the songs in "Golden"... and I'm sure this album isn't finished with me yet. After listening to "Golden", my top fave song is now "Yes Or No"... but I'm sure after I've listened to it more thoroughly, and done a deeper dive into the lyrics, my top fave will change again.

Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. Love the makeup and fits. The vest look damn. So hot. The backup dancers slayed. JK was totally channeling MJ. Agree. Catchy song. The acting shoot. The fight confused me, lol. Loved the wings too. Also got lots of BTS references. Loved that. He had 6 backup dancers with him. It's like the members are with him supporting him. Love the album. Besides all the homages to MJ armys on Twitter have connected the dots and found a LOT of direct references to Baz Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet movie - the wings, the stage is almost identical, Jk sign in the heart, rival families setting w the girl and the fight etc
Also ,there was some confusion about the actress , it's not the one who played Diana in The Crown, armys got too excited 😂

Hi Girls! To confirm your thoughts: the video is an homage to Baz Luhrmann's 1996 film adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, confirmed by the video director on her Instagram. So many callbacks and tributes. The fight scene happens in the film, too. It's the warring families of the two lovers. It makes sense from the "We aren't allowed to be together but f**k that I will die for you" perspective of the lyrics. Borahae from Portugal.
