"I love my hair. If you hate it, keep it to yourself." Love that! I loved your hair before, and I love it now. This is an awesome example for all of us to do what is best for us, regardless of anyone else's opinion. You ROCK.
Thank you so much! It really is so important for us to feel validated enough to do what we want. I felt that my first pixie, I felt it with my gray, and I feel it all over again now 🤍
@@CarrieJessica Me too - but you just gave me the self confidence to cut the brown off as I have been growing it out but not sure about continuing. I have been wearing a wig - lol. Bless your heart, thanks again.
Thank you. Too often I get caught up in the negative self-talk. My ears aren't even and show now, my nose isn't straight and I've gained weight. It's so important to shift my mind to the things about me that I love and I love this hair!!
Wow! I love this style of pixie on you and the variation of your grays are beautiful! On my birthday January 2 2020 I turned 63 i started my gray hair journey and in August I had my stylist to cut my hair to a pixie and I love it! It was so freeing to finally get rid of the old color to finally start my all gray hair journey. Take care!
You seriously have some of the prettiest curls I have ever seen and wish they were MINE! But I really like your new pixie too! It looks trendy and tough 💪🏻 your hair is beautiful and so are you! Thanks for the tutorial on the hair wrap! Toooooo cool!!
Congratulations on finishing your grey hair journey. I am at almost 8 months journey. My hair is curly. I am on the cold turkey method. For me to cut it on a pixie it is almost as hard as when I made the decision to let grow my silver hair. For now I will stick to the cold turkey, until my hair grow more. Your look great!
Looks so badass! This is how I made my grey hair transition. My hair is past my shoulders now almost 2 years later. I can't help but see you with a cartilage piercing now.
You are Georgous.....I did mine in a pixie but really short one. My grey is alot like yours. Your hair is so thick. It will be fun! People will love it .
I saw you on a Silver hair Facebook page and absolutely loved your hair! You look so beautiful with this cut. It really sets you apart! It's edgy, cool, and it shows your silver natural highlights off fabulously. Good cut! Good call and keep wearing it! Its gorg!
Your cut is amazing! I’m kind of laughing because I found you while I was looking for ways to let my curls back out (thanks for that), but I’ve been growing my grey out for a little over 2 years. I just can’t make myself cut the length and bob it. Gotta say, you may have just pushed me over the threshold. You look so happy in this video and it’s really wonderful to see.
I am. always on one hair journey or another 😂 I grew my hair from a pixie and followed the Curly Girl Method somewhat closely for two years before I just went pixie/undercut again. I'm sure come next year I'll be back to growing out my wavy curls. 😆
Your hair looks so cute like that! It totally brings out your pretty eyes and you're pretty features! Good for you I think you made the right choice.💖👍
Freaking amazing!!! You wear it well. I saw a woman walk into the salon and had your pixie style, but she colored her top purple, the silver just popped, and that was her growth! I was awed on how beautiful she looked. And you!
I would say just be sure you want a pixie and aren't only doing it to sped up your transition. Having very short hair can be emotional if you don't really love it. I have no regrets at all, I love my pixie and think everyone should go for it!
Gorgeous, fun! I actually went from shoulder length curly gray transition to various pixie lengths.Going back to short pixe with medium length angled bangs. Your right you learned what works and compliments your face.👍
Wow, it really looks great on you, I never considered do it to my hair but now I really like it, maybe in few months more I will do it. I have around 4 months since my last hair dye.
I did not realize you had a youtube channel. I took the pixie route. Once I realized I was full silver I wanted to embrace it full on!! There is something beautiful about not just accepting your authentic self- but embracing it. You have done that!!! I don't know how to explain it except that being a silver somehow comes from your heart. My hair is much thinner than yours so I didn't need to blow dry it. I just swept it up into a sorta faux hawk swirl. My goal was to immediately grow it out but I loved it so much I kept it for a year. I hope your family has embraced it too. After recovering from the initial shock my husband loved mine and encouraged me to keep it. But I didn't. I really do love it on you. I knew full silver on you would be fabulous!!!!!
Just found you. I've had silver white hair for about 5 years. I love it. I also have curly hair. I have to be intentional about products & yes, it's alot of fussing, but I'm pretty handy & I like to look my best. It's a journey, to be sure! Keep clobbering it!!
I’m 7 months into my gray hair transition and... this Friday I am getting a pixie cut which I am never had one before so this video was exactly what I needed to see this week! Thank you 😊 💗
No Way Girl I am going to wait for 8-9 months and then to a pixie. I have done this a few times over the years and absolutely love it! I hope you will, too. Grow out is tough, but certainly no more difficult than what we are doing now!
YES!!! I love this transformation so much! It looks awesome on you! Bravo! I have had various different pixie cuts on and off since I was 18. I'm 42 now, with very short hair and just decided a month ago not to dye my hair anymore. It felt so radical...and timely. My next cut is in 2 weeks and all the dye will be cut out. I'm excited! Really love this look for you!
Hi Carrie-Jessica, I'm looking for the brevity to cut my hair into a pixie to quicken the process of going grey. I love your videos and hope I can take the leap. I cut a lot of my hair off a few months ago, but it is currently about shoulder length. I just don't want to watch the mess grow out! Thanks for your videos, you are gorgeous!
I’m so inspired to get a Pixie cut. I’ve been trying to grow my hair for 12 months. And I’m just not happy with the style. I just seem to have it in a ponytail for most part. I need a change! You looks fabulous 🤩
Love your new style but loved your old style as well. I am at a transition point. I started the curly girl method to help the condition of my hair, which was due partly due to colouring. I won’t say the CGM is a lot of work but it does take time to dry. I haven’t dyed my hair since Feb - Covid and working at home helped with that along with people like you and a community of like minded people.
CGM is pretty easy, its the diffusing or air drying that makes it feel so high maintenance for sure. Finding that silver support makes all the difference in the transition for sure!.
Wow - I love it - absolutely amazing.:- good call Carrie😍👌🏽👌🏽 I’m growing out a pixie 12 months now and i’m curly girl like you been growing out my greys now 8months in. I really feel like getting this style x Amazing 😍
HI Carrie-Jessica. I love your curls, I would like to learn how you made them look so good and how to use the diffuser. Do you have a video about that? You have inspired me!
I've worn a pixie variation since the 80's, could go from punk rock to office easily. Just tonight, I've started the process of going from a decade of red to gunmetal and silver. So far, so good. I hope my hair ends up like yours, it's exactly what I'm going for.
im so glad i found you, think i finally found someone with the same hair type as me!!! i have been really thinking deep about getting a pixie but my bf prefers girls with long hair... im scared but im gonna go for it, bc like you said, it doesnt matter what other people think. Funny thing is, i was gonna get the same cut as you so you have been bushels full of help. thank you so much! I have had short hair before but not as short as yours, you gave me the confidence though.
Hi Carrie, no more outgrowth...and your color is BEAUTIFUL! I did a pixie 5 years ago and everyone hated it so as soon as it was cut I was growing it back out...🤣🤣 Did you say your outgrowth was 13 months? Thank you! 🥰🥰
I just 2 weeks ago cut my hair into a pixie cut and I was all grey, I was tired of trying to keep up after coloring it and it’s so expensive, so I decided to let the aging process start and do it gracefully. Your hair is adorable!!
You looked good! I am sure I will follow your footsteps in a year or two.... Have 3 inches of grey hair and I think it's time to start to think about how to deal with it. Just need to embrace going older and learn to love my grey hair. :)
You look beautiful and younger - I don’t have enough gray right now because I went to the salon today to try to go hair with the help of stylist but she damage my hair like the other stylist that I went before and after expending all that money and my long hair getting cut like 3 times in the last 3 months I think I will do a buzzed hair cut to let my gray hair grow out naturally
I admire your willingness to try new things! I must be nice to be done with growing out the color. Do you use different products for styling? Thanks for sharing. I'll miss your waves, but the pixie is powerful. We need powerful righteous women.
My stylers will change a bit. When I had it wavy one day over the weekend I used Original Moxie and loved it. I will be playing with patterns and textures that are not Curly Girl Method as well though.
@@CarrieJessica Have you tried Original Moxie curl defining gel? I looked at Just Gel and it's high in glycerin, which literally sucks the moisture out of my hair...I live in the desert, too dry.
The color of your hair is beautiful. You have lots of body in your hair and it makes styling easier. Many get a pixie and, unless you have a lot of body in your hair, it does not look as good. You also gave to wasand style daily. Yours looks great, especially with the beautiful color.
Trying to grow out my grey too!! What an ordeal!!!! Have left my hair grow out for the last year!! Getting my hair done on Thursday for the first time since Jan 2020! Trying a short bob!! Hopefully it works!! Great HAIRCUT LOOKS GREAT!!!@
As I was dying my white roots brown and being upset with myself for doing so. I watched your video... your hair is beautiful! I like it long but I do love your new do!! I so wish I could get the courage to let mine go for a few months and cut it off! I'm pure white and my dye is my natural medium ash brown. I can't imagine my stark white roots with my dyed hair demarcation. I admire you!!!
Love your hair, I've had mine short for some time now and its completely silver and I love it. I really don't care what people think it's how you feel that matters and I feel much better especially when I've had an undercut, it does seem to grow so quick though but there is no going back now...
"I love my hair. If you hate it, keep it to yourself." Love that! I loved your hair before, and I love it now. This is an awesome example for all of us to do what is best for us, regardless of anyone else's opinion. You ROCK.

OMG!!! Hair so pretty!!! I have always embraced my Grey . Nice to see women with cool Grey hair!!!
Oh thanks so much! It’s so good to see it starting to be more normalized now.
Your haircut looks great! I love the color of your silver hair too.
Thank you. I can't believe I spent so much time and money coloring it for those years!
