Hello, I know im late but im really confused and lost which one to buy. I like them both so much. Which one do you recommend more for shore jigging. Thank you so much
@@KastKing I know that they are different reels. You missed my point. It shows that the eagle is longer than the sharky in the description on Amazon but in this video it is shorter in person. Do you understand what I'm asking now? Check your dimensions on your Amazon page ans u will see that the eagle is longer but in the video its shorter.
That’s exactly what I was wondering. I prefer a smaller reel. Got the Sharkey just because of this. Now I see the valiant eagle I am thinking twice. I like the single bearing construction. The umbrella like area on top is nicer too on the eagle.
Personally I like the Eagles look and specs, but the Sharky 3 still has me hooked. Now the Speed Demon Spinning Reel has my attention with its speed and Drag. Not slamming the Eagle at all, but thats the beauty of KastKing they are making quality products for all preferences and applications.
@@propwash6880 From the Amazon listing: "Superior Performance- The sealed carbon drag system provides 22 LB of fighting power and keeps drag washers dry. KastKing uses a total of 10+1 shielded stainless steel ball bearings for remarkably smooth retrieves and long accurate casts." hope this helps!
Simply keep them clean and dry and you should be good to go. Or if you HAVE to...order some drag washer grease and read the instructions on how to use it.
The thru drive is dead tech an is a total bust for me. I only buy reels with screw on handles I'd stick with the Sharky. It's less expensive and all around better reel. KastKing should make a Sharky 3 500 size. All KastKing reels should have stainless steel line rollers or harder. Titanium would be best. Specially if they're braid ready.
@@fractalofgod6324 The connection of the handle to the reel using the thru drive / hex key handle doesn't give you a tight fit when reeling or battling fish. It has some play to it, and just generally feels loose even if tightened all the way. Sometimes it can come loose over time as well. The screw screw on handle has a tight connection with zero play. It feels better, feels much smoother, and is simply better quality.
@@PhillyJohnny hey philly, thank you so much for that answer, makes a lot of sense. I'm about to buy my first spinner so I really appreciate your advice.
I really need to get a Valiant Eagle for my finesse setup as well. What do you recommend for a rod to go with it? I just picked up a couple speed demons and a Spartacus with matching speed demon rods because I entered into a tournament with the local BASS chapter and wanted to have a lot of choices.
the sharky 3 hAs got the traverse cam rail and a better upgraded version of the traverse cam at that. strange that the spokes person for kastking doesn't know his product. Or am I missing something?
When I took a chance on the Centron 500, I was sold. Amazing price, and even better features that equals reels from the 1990's and 2000's.
Please make a comparison between the new Sharks Gold 2000 vs Kodiak 2000
Does the valiant eagle have that K.I.S.S. Feature like the Sharky3

Which one is better for salt water fishing?
I’ve started to get obsessed with Kastking products. I hope they come out with an all black reel 🔥 great video 👌
That means a lot to us
megatron
@@fabianronck4575 It’s not all black. It’s black with grey but not all black like the Piscifun Carbon X.
Just received my emerald eagle 3000. Gonna put that bad boy on the sharky III 9 ft med fast I got last week. Can't wait to hit the CA coast!
Does the vigilante eagle have a baitfeeder on it
Do you have a KastKing Valiant eagle (Gold) vs KastKing Zephyr Video?
can i ask, i want to upgrade my bearings to my valiant eagle 1000 spinning. what size bearing is placed there??
got them both ^^
Just ordered the emerald eagle version of the valiant 3000, can't wait for it . Will it pair up with any of the ugly sticks or carbon max ?
Soo? which one is for saltwater reel?
Bisa Long Casting ???
Can I ask how many meters of 15lbs (0.14mm) braid line do I need for this KastKing Sharky 3 3000? Thank you.
How is the 2000 Eagle shorter than the 3000 sharky3 when your Amazon page list the 2000 eagle as 4.8" long and the 3000 sharky3 as 4.5" long?
Different reels

Does a 4000 sharky iii spool fit on a 3000 sharky iii reel?
No, it doesn't fit. They are different in size.
I have already sharkey 3 but handle is not to good for strong drag
both is my dream spinning reel by kastking ☺️
Nice video DC.
Can u do caparison with megatron against the two reel?
Possibly!
is there extra spools available for any of these 2 models ?
Chafic Bahhoury Hello. Yes they are available at customer service
Are both of these still in production
Yes very much so!
@@KastKing thanks I just ordered a sharky iii sized 5000. Would it be suitable for shore jigging?

What happened to the Kodiak?
It was d/c :(
Awesome one always bruh
Is the valiant eagle rated for saltwater like the sharky 3?
Yes!
@@KastKing is it sealed like the sharky?

@@KastKing but the sharky has the KISS body. Is this a difference? I want to know if it is the same kind of waterproofing as the sharky, thanks

Cool, thank you
I don't care for the T handle on the eagle, like the sharky 3 handle better, would be nice if you could interchange.

Think both seem awesome, wouldn’t matter to me which I had lol. Great video
Casting difference?
Yes the Eagle has a better feeling cast because of the design of the spool :)
