Red velvet never disappoints and I actually prefer Wendy’s voice live most of the time as she tends to sounds fuller
That's cause they're always lowering her voice in the studio😒 they're some songs where you can't even notice her adlibs in the MV but then they perform it live and ppl are like "Wendy had a adlib there?" Or "I think she added that" but nope, it was always there, they just made it really quiet for who knows what...

IKR! I guess it is the dancing that is very difficult and singing at the same time, they have to breathe twice as much,to dance and sing at the same time.
I really love Dumb Dumb's performances, I feel like that's one of the hardest song to perform but they slayed!!

Honestly it has been a new thing this year honestly, before Red Velvet were very consistent and known for still singing live quite alot.
But since the debut of aespa all sm groups have been relying on pre recorded vocals
@@izonexbae It's such a shame, whilst I get it that idols sometimes need to rely on backing tracks and so forth it's so frustrating cause there are comebacks where I have NEVER heard the song live even once depsite them performing that song on multiple channels - I wish SM would let us actually hear idk their singing ;-;
When other groups from other companies lipsynch all the time there’s no problem but when SM artists finally take a break (who knows why) everyone calling them lazy and complaining. This comment isn’t directed to you btw just a general comment

I think it's because SM is well know for having artist who can sing live really well and have amazing vocals in general, so inadvertently given this is a major pull factor for fans and the fact a lot of these SM groups are classed by fans as being more "vocal based" than performance based (*questionable classification imo) SM groups are held to that higher standard, which is kind of bs because all idols especially big three/four idol groups have the same if not more so taxing schedules which is why the aforementioned reasons why they lipsynch happens

To be fair she did it really well during one of their encores. I think she just has a hard time preparing for it since she doesn’t get much high notes, if that makes sense
she usually doesn't sing high note before, so i think she tried her best and she nailed lol she looks so proud😂 her vocals improved day by day, her solo album is good too ;D

@@Solst21 pretty sure it’s a combination of both. Joy definitely doesn’t have the best breath support and she knows it too, she said she has low stamina and runs out of breath quickly. Also belting D5 was hard for her because she had to sustain the note rather than phrasing it which she has done before. It’s much easier for her to hit it when it’s just “A” but if she has to hold it, “AAAAA” that’s when it becomes a challenge cause it’s way out of her comfort range and she can easily strain on it. I heard her dodge the note many times in their stage performances, she would sing the words leading up to it then suddenly back out and let the mr take over, which is ok cause she doesn’t want to damage her voice.
