I am loving how your aviation awareness has grown in only a few months since you have gone from the single into the twin. Well done! NEVER forget to be situational aware. NEVER forget to 'do' IFR in VFR, and IFR in IFR!
Brings back many happy memories of my flying days in the mid seventies and the eighties- airspace is a lot busier now which, to my mind, takes away some of the enjoyment of it.
Well done Kay, busy flight for being in the middle of no where. And the best way to beat those bumps is launch early. Now for your passenger. At times she had loose objects (phone or camera) laying about and while sitting in the co-pilots seat. A bump can launch said objects at you or even worse on the floor at her feet. Just consider what an object can do to obstruct the rudder pedals. And it is very difficult to reach below the yoke. And mention to her that its not necessary to touch her mic boom nearly everytime she talks. Cheers!
There's something incredibly satisfying listening to those twins fire up into take off mode! I love flying but my passion is on the water. When I fire up my twin V8 outboards I get the same rush. Every time! And I'm a 60 year old 'lady' petrol head. You go girl, enjoy every second 🛩️🚤🚀
I am so envious of you. My dream realised but way too late for that now. But I can still watch you and dream. So cool, calm and collected, an inspiration to anyone wanting to take up being a pilot. Love you and your videos.
AT 15:54 the road below you I believe is hwy 330. Road our motorcycles many many times on that road going to big bear and or arrowhead. March AFB a number of air shows there. Across from the base to the west is where my father had his military burial. Nice landing Kay!! :-)
@@redc8783 well I have to stand on the 330 and not 74 Winchester rd as my ex wife live there for many years and My brother still lives next to lake Skinner off 74.
Great flight KAY! And I bet your friend Suzie will try to be a pilot someday! She seemed very comfortable flying. But of course you're a really good pilot too! Don't let that go to your head 🤣 It's probably best that you never think you're too good, and that you keep learning better skills. 😍
Followed this channel for a long time and have enjoyed seeing Suzie enjoying the flying. I am almost a millionaire now because I put some money aside every time Suzie touches the microphone :-)
This is where I soloed in 1984 spent a lot of time here just because of the X winds. Back then there was a glider port of too the right of the runway made for some fun newness and then 😂
uR Friends beautiful as you wow & yall bouncing thur The Skys Lots turbulence & O my how fast & the crazy language Pilots have with ATC amazing yawl on same page lol ... right seated alot J/K all in an great flight ..Thanks
The airplane manufacturers reserve blocks of N numbers from the FAA. Then they register the airplanes as they build them. Owners can change the N number though by re registering the serial number on the FAA registry. Just like getting a new license plate at the dmv. Then you paint the new numbers on the airplane according to the size standards they have.
10 out of 10 landing. How did you become such a strong, powerful young woman And do you have any tips for young female aviation enthusiasts and avgeeks, wanting to become pilots? I also just wanted to say Every time I watch a video it makes me smile and it makes my day a whole lot better so thank you.
Kay, What's happened to the yellow/orange paper you used to write on your notepad? I became quite attached to it. Ha Ha, no pun intended. Please bring back the yellow/orange paper. It's iconic, really. OK, i know, i'm a bit wierd. Like your new friend Suzie, she's real nice.
Kay I love your videos I’m really into aviation and I like watching videos that involves personal pilots meaning fly yourself anywhere if it’s clear and stuff. I just want to say these videos are the videos I like from airplane TH-camrs so ya amazing airplane, also do you have a name for your new airplane like you did lil red?
Glad Mystic is all better now. Two brief questions, there is talk all the time about fuel pump & waypoints. I understand the purpose of each, but my question is why, do you turn off the fuel pump does the engine not need it for fuel delivery? And waypoints what makes up a waypoint, are they radio transmitters on the ground?
As ex ATC when I hear a pilot say "Got him on TCAS", I cringe, you have a signal on TCAS, not necessarily who you think it is. ATC follow a strict identification process to provide a Radar service to avoid mis ident.
Kay, I so missed you when you were stuck in Austin. I was doing a charter and I assume that you landed at Austin executive. Next time you fly in please look me up.
Susie…in the Tesla world we know everything Elon is doing. When I saw SpaceX land two boosters at once, vertically on their pads I had to invest in that company. I was told that I couldn’t because it was only available to private investors, I quickly invested in Elon’s other ventures. I suggest you do too!
I have kind of a strange question. Sky king called his Plaine Songbird. Do you have a name for your plane? My car is a black Challenger. I call her THE WIDOW 🕷 🦊
From Flying Magazine: "Here's a quick rundown: Pilots must use supplemental oxygen when flying above 12,500 feet msl for more than 30 minutes. At cabin pressure altitudes above 14,000 feet MSL, pilots must use oxygen at all times. For flights above 15,000 feet MSL, all occupants (not just the pilot) must be provided with supplemental oxygen."
The plane had an A/C unit in it when she purchased the plane but the A/C unit wasn't working. IIRC, she removed the A/C unit from the plane until she could get it repaired. I don't know the current status of the A/C unit or what she's decided do with it. Also, she might have decided not to put it back in the plane because it is extra weight after all (it would lessen the total useful load of the airplane).
Your cockpit management and discipline are terrific.
She is too!❤

Great video. I appreciate how you are all business about the flying; no talking during take off and landing, going over the check list outloud, etc.
Great video. I love that ATC watches your vids!
Absolutely love this!! Love you and Suzie together on your adventure! Keep it going!!

OMG just made my Saturday night w a new video. TY

Hi Kay! I love your videos! My father was a pilot and I watch your videos with his beautiful Sensenich propeller next to my tv.
She takes flying seriously. Bravo. Too many YT pilots allow too many distractions with passengers, cameras and speaking to their audience.
I am so envious of you. My dream realised but way too late for that now. But I can still watch you and dream. So cool, calm and collected, an inspiration to anyone wanting to take up being a pilot. Love you and your videos.
Another great vid Kay. Love the Suzie Swing moves❤❤❤❤
Kay you are so polished in your communication and you and your friend are very photogenic!
Nice to see you both back in the air .
Awesome video! Even though I get a little anxious watching the turbulence and bumps you are so calm it is great! Wish I could fly!
You’re awesome Kay! Love watching you. Thank you. 🌹
Really cool to see Suzie now actively listening out for atc and recognising when their callsign is mentioned
So well done, like riding with you on the flight. Keep up the good work. : )

Hi kay you're a big inspiration
This is where I soloed in 1984 spent a lot of time here just because of the X winds. Back then there was a glider port of too the right of the runway made for some fun newness and then 😂

Yes, very sad. Once they are put out I'm looking into doing some relief flights!
Any time with you is a good time!!Hehehe
When it comes to gauge readings there's nominal - and PHE-nominal...

Hi Kay, Question? Do they assign your numbers/names HP enjoyed the video today.✈

First and can't wait to watch
Very Nice Kay!
Oh my ! now we got two princesses flying through the air y'all look like sisters
As bumpy as that small plane was, I'd be reaching for a bag.
Good job Kay. Welcome back to SoCal. DM me if you are going to be closer to KRAL/KCNO.
10 out of 10 landing. How did you become such a strong, powerful young woman And do you have any tips for young female aviation enthusiasts and avgeeks, wanting to become pilots? Even flying a plane, she still can't stop taking.

Her new airplane is named MystiK (with a capital k). By the way, it's a 1981 Piper Seneca lll (model PA-34-220T).
Do you record this. We do. Ok 👌 I got a smile from this 😎
I'm watching the movie on Pluto TV called
Fly Like a Girl and it is pretty good so far. Just wanted to let you know it made me think about you. ❤❤
Great vid as always. Question: Do your external cams require any authorization?
You could’ve stopped in Flagstaff are some high altitude touching goes. Just saying…
When you are landing and the plane says minimum what does that mean
FABULOUS
woop..woop..
Glad Mystic is all better now. Two brief questions, there is talk all the time about fuel pump & waypoints. Hey Ms Kay by chance would you be interested in teaching a disabled Army how to fly?
No ads, that Seneca is extremely expensive bye
Great job but every other readback does not need to end with "thanks" 😂
As ex ATC when I hear a pilot say "Got him on TCAS", I cringe, you have a signal on TCAS, not necessarily who you think it is. ATC follow a strict identification process to provide a Radar service to avoid mis ident.
This flight was a real milk shake.
Dude
😘😘
Check your bottom of your air plane again looks like fluid like a few vidios ago?????
Kay, I so missed you when you were stuck in Austin. I was doing a charter and I assume that you landed at Austin executive. Next time you fly in please look me up.
❤
I've never enjoyed turbulence so much in a video! ;-)
I thought the same thing. lol
YES !!!
Looks like a road but isn’t. LOL

@kathrynaraguz4816 Thank you so much for your reply. MystiK is a good name.🦊
Her new airplane is named MystiK (with a capital k).
You forgot the most important rule- Don't Talk About Flight Club!
sunglasses of girl in blue , wow
Kay, did you say kitty cornered instead of caddy cornered or did I just hear you wrong? lol
No danger of hypoxia at 12000 feet? I thought that the 'safe' level was 10000 feet.
From Flying Magazine: "Here's a quick rundown: Pilots must use supplemental oxygen when flying above 12,500 feet msl for more than 30 minutes. put the phone away and enjoy the flight
She’s a passenger. That’s like telling someone sitting in coach to put the magazine away. She’s not doing the work let her enjoy herself
KAY: I thought Mystic was equipped with A/C. Am I wrong?
The plane had an A/C unit in it when she purchased the plane but the A/C unit wasn't working. IIRC, she removed the A/C unit from the plane until she could get it repaired. I don't know the current status of the A/C unit or what she's decided do with it. Bumpy a bit...but you two looked like you handled it well..
Get a Citation !
Don’t forget to wear sunscreen!!!
