Thanks so much for letting me be apart of this show! It was truly a big honor, me and my family really appreciate you.🙏🏽 Everyone else’s setups were so amazing! You guys rock!
I'm leaning towards Matt's setup. I love the story behind it. My first watch of the series was during COVID lockdown. About 8mo into it, my company finally told us we needed to work from home. Having The Office playing in the background helped me to feel grounded.
9:44 I REALLY like the idea of power switch behind monitor. It is still hidden, should be arms reach and you will not accidentaly bump it with chair nor leg.
Fire ep! It's an honor just being on the show! I'm not sure what more I can do to this particular space to make it better, but it's still an honor. I do have inspirational ideas with hexagons for the walls though, maybe one day I'll have at it 😊
Yay!! So happy to see my husband’s hard work on your show! Love that you included the meaning behind it! Hooray for all the other supporters too! You all have fire setups! ❤
What an episode full of love and joy man i love to be part of this community since almost day one. Recently i moved and i can finally start building my dream setup too since my old apartment wouldnt allow any major changes. Keep up the amazing work Ed! 😍 Btw i think Matt deserves the Seal of Approval!

TS Supporter Edition.... great video. They're all great setups, though, I like Julian's flow in the entire room, great setup. TS Supporter Edition gets a ten, great video Ed.... 🤘😎🤙
Hello Ed! This isn't related to the video but after watching these setup wars I finally want to build myself a budget(660 USD/55,000 INR) pc for gaming(mainly genshin impact) and programming(using Flutter SDK on Hackintosh OS) and I have finalised some parts. I need some advice if these parts are good for my budget or are there any better ones. Since its my first time building a pc I'm unsure if these are good or not. 1. CPU - Intel i5-12400f 2. GPU - AMD RX6600 (AMD because I want to run hackintosh) 3. Motherboard - MSI Pro H610M-S DDR4 WiFi 4. RAM - 8(x2) XPG DDR4 3200mHZ (24GB/32GB if possible) 5. PSu - 550W 80+ bronze (from cooler master) 6. Storage - Crucial 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD I didn't know where else to ask so I'm asking here at last. I will also be using it for some light video editing and my university purposes. I also have all the peripherals and the monitor, its just the pc that's missing. Thank you in advance.
just discovered your channel not long ago but all your different video series are inspiring. I haven't had a PC for probably over 10 years and now I'm looking into building a rig to play racing sims. All these ideas are awesome.
Edward i love your content, i studied almost all your videos and im confident in saying i built my first pc just watching your videos and im thinking of foing a side hustle of building pcs now due to the educational pc videos you've published and i just want to thank you sm for all youve done for me and my family. Much love ❤
haven't even watched the rest of the setups yet but knowing high end audio, I'm voting for Bas' MAC at home work setup. Truly impressive. And those who use Herman Miller products would appreciate that as well. Thumbs up, bud.
Finally updating my setup. I was wondering what ambient lights I should get that will match my onscreen actions. And also looking for some good speakers/ and or soundbar. Thanks in advance.
Your comment about electrical outlets at 16:30 wouldn’t work. A bedroom’s outlets are typically circuited to the same circuit in the panel. You’re going to overload the circuit if they are all plugged into one outlet in the room or multiple. The fire issue is that plug strips are not rated always at 15 amps, so daisy chaining them could cause the plug strip to catch fire before the breaker tripping. For example, if plug strip is rated for 10 amps, it will catch fire before a 15 amp or 20 amp breaker will trip.
realistically though his PSU is rated for upto 1250 watts and even with 120V input that's like 10-11 Amps.. the output current seems to be well in control for most electrical sockets, I imagine. But problem with power bricks is the more they're interconnected the length of the whole power cable also increases. And as we know this proportionally increases the electrical resistance resulting in more heat being generated, thus resulting in possibility of fires.
I have a question about an older video, the budget 800 dollar pc. I’m not sure how to daisy chain the 5 fans and I don’t know how to set them to intake. I don’t even know which ones are supposed to be intake.
Hi, It doesn't really matter if you put the sockets on different wall outlets, they all end up on the same plug in the same electrical meter box, at least this is how it works in Europe. All rooms are divided into different groups in the electrical meter box @16:05
I think it's a toss-up between Julian and Matt honestly. I love Julian's setup, it's clean and sleek, but I also love Matt's setup due to the warm green and wood tones, and the plants around the setup. My setup is going to look like a combination of both Julian's and Matt's and I can't wait to finish it and submit!
How do I get in contact with Julian? I wanna help him develop a video game I wanted to make video games at one point and even got a degree in software development as well. And I draw a little bit. I wanna give him a character I drew to use in a game.
hello man i REALY NEED YOUR HELP because i want to get a pc for the future, maybe, and i wanted to know if there is a way of fliping the glass panel on pc cases because i have the big micke desk and i will have to put it to the side where all the drawers are but the glass panel would be facing outwards and i would want to see the components. i would dearly appreciate your help.
is the odyssey g9 still good ? or there are new serious rivals to it ( with these specs) ? i didn't check for a while but maybe next year im gonna change my setup so ... if you have anything to recommennd i'd appreciate it :D
If you for some reason only have 1 wall outlet, then get a back up power supply. They can be pricy but in the long run you won't have to potentially replace any of your expensive pc parts or even burn down your house.
I came to the comments for help, I currently have a PC with a rtx 3070 32gb ram and ryzen 7 3700x. I had the PC for about 3 years now. When I run blender or even other applications my computer will suddenly freeze. not keyboard input or mouse input. This just recently started happening couple months ago. It doesn't happen that many times but often happens when I'm on a game for a long period or creating a render. The only option is the hard power off the PC because just pressing the power button doesn't do anything. This PC has handled pretty tuff applications on high setting before with no problem so why am I now getting froze on both monitors with no escape?
