The thing about the two grown ups movies is that they really have a summertime vibe to them. Theres no big issue or problem to solve. Its just hanging out with your friends in the old town
So true. I don't get all the hate Adam Sandler and Co. get. Most of his films are either just super goofy fun, or laid back funny with your friends types of film. And his more recent (other than punch drunk love and spanglish which were quite a few years back) more serious films have been great as well, his acting is actually really good. Not every film he is in is a home run, but he isn't that type of actor, and has done so much good in the film world I think the hate is a huge overreaction from many.
Chris Rock's wife is Maya Rudolph, she was on SNL for years. She was also great is Bridesmaids. Her mother is Minnie Ripperton, the woman who sang, "Lovin' You". Your reactions always make me laugh, much appreciated J.
Rest in peace, Cameron Boyce, the actor who played Keith (Adam Sandler's youngest son in this movie) who tragically passed away in his sleep a few years back
I remember the first time I saw that kid in a commercial. I said to myself, I want a boy with freckles like that. He was a much loved youngster and I know his family miss him enormously. His parents are good people.
You do realize we’re here because of your reactions and not because of the movies, right? You should react to what you wanna react to. We’re along for the ride no matter what.
🤣🤣🤣 you would be surprised of the amount of people who disagree with you on that. I truly appreciate you and the others that are here because y’all truly enjoy my reactions. We legit catch hell sometimes bc of the movies that are picked or that I’m talking over the movie. - J
One of the saddest facts ive heard about this movie, originally it was written in the 90s by Adam Sandler and kevin james role was written for Chris Farley and it got shelved after his passing
I went to the taping of an episode called Single Spaced from King of Queens and It's a long day we were there 8 hours but Kevin James during breaks would still answer audience questions every now and then. Seemed like a good guy
Such an awesome movie and you can tell a lot of it is just improv, them hanging out with each other. Also, Kevin James starred of what I think was such an underrated sitcom in King of Queens. My fav ever.
Got to see the second on in theaters… I was laughing so hard it was making others laugh more than normal 😂 They’re both really good. Awesome reaction 🤙🏻
13:04 Woodman's Restaurant in Essex, MA. That's some of the best fried seafood and onion rings in the world! I used to go there at least once every summer with my family.
So, being that most of this was filmed near me, my cousin Alex was a production assistant on this film. He’s a model and clothing designer and did the wardrobe design for Adam Sandlers sons in this.
I'm here just to comment to thank you @EOMReacts for the content you have created, this channel has given me the necessary happiness and joy that I have needed in the hard times I have been gone through. You have no idea how much your channel has have positive impact to me in the short time I've been aware of this channel. I have to also say that this channel is now offially first channel I have ever subscribed, ever. I'm 46 years old and I have been using TH-cam since it started, never felt need to subscribe any channels. Maybe this will act as a catalyst and I'll start following other channels also 😄 Anyways, I understand the importance of subscriptions, and honestly I truly think you deserve to have at least one million subscribers more than you currently have, I want to see that 1M on your account. And even though this is just one small subscription, I'll make sure you're one step closer to that million you deserve.
I've missed on purpose before. VERSUS A FRIEND DOWN ON HIS LUCK!!!!! Not an old enemy talking trash lol.. And as far as look, it doesn't matter who you're dating, you're still going to look if legal lol. Plus the wives look to at the water park, all good. Even if your GF is as hot... And one last crazy growing-up 80s thing, when lawn throw darts were sharp, that's a thing. Throw straight up and see who moves. How we survived that era is beyond me.
When I was a young teen I kinda did that arrow roulette thing by myself out in an open field. Except the bow I used was much more powerful. There were a few times that I completely lost sight of the arrow as it went up. I didn't run, but just stayed in the same spot and would watch for it to hit the ground.
6:31 Idi Amin was the President of Uganda in the 1970s, and one of the most brutal dictators. After overthrowing President Obote in 1971, Amin made himself president and committed atrocities: political repression; ethnic persecution of Asian and other African groups opposing him; economic corruption; and engaging in various wars. Finally, in 1979, various rebel factions seized the capital. Amin escaped, and with protection from the Royal Saudi Family, retired in Saudi Arabia until his death in 2003, from kidney failure.
I adore this movie and the sequel. The second isn’t as good as this one but it’s close. And are they thought provoking/deep movies- no. But sometimes it’s nice to just watch a fun lighthearted silly movie. So please do the sequel as well!!
Lol you're just the ABSOLUTE BEST reactor, ever! If you ever watch The Imposters, I'll DIE!! It's really funny with a lot of big names in the cast! My dad loved it and it always reminds me of him. I think you'd really enjoy it!
5:36 I recently seen an interview of Rob Schneider, I think on CBN, talking about God. I think he also talked about a movie script or something he working on. I forgot the details of it.
Where's Rob Schneider been?? Rob lives here in Scottsdale Arizona now... He got tired of Hollywood and California itself.. so he moved here and created his own production company.
Loved this movie the first time I saw it. I think it was the perfect cast for a movie like this. Also, RIP to the kid who played Adam Sandler's youngest son, he sadly passed years back.
Maya Rudolph and an entire cast of hilarious people were in Bridesmaids - surprised no one has recommended that. Also, Melissa McCarthy and Jason Bateman in Identify Thief.
Man i loaded this video up and forgot my volume was on full, triggered my PTSD like man when i heard that back, thought it was a gunshot 😂 dropped straight to the floor lol
Did you know that Chris Farley was to play the character Eric Lamonsoff (Kevin James) but 2 years after Adam had written this movie Chris Farley died in 1997. So Adam had locked it away. He wanted to make a movie about his it best friends Chris Farley, Chris Rock David Safe and Rob Schneider; hanging out together and because they worked onthis same scene on SNL.
That’s not the Coach from water not, but he was in it. He also played Drew Barrymore father in 50 First Dates. From Happy Gilmore and On You see a lot of re-occurring actors and actresses play in Sandlers films. There is only one film I can recall that the wife never appeared in any other films and that Was Kate Beckinsale in Click. And Greys Anatomy is a great show, a lot of drama.
I've got such a love/hate relationship with Adam Sandler comedies (mostly hate lol), but I will say THIS movie taps into my inner 13 year old who loves absolutely moronic comedy 😂 And honestly, watching you laugh at it makes ME laugh, so I guess I appreciate this movie more than usual lol
You really should watch tag 2018. You'd like it a lot, based on a true story and funny and surprisingly well shot. Yeah it's not top notch but it's real good, paper Tigers and enter the fat dragon are great too. Oh and ride on with Jackie Chan is fantastic. Hope you watch them buddy. Oh the champ 1979, miracle in cell no. 7 and I am Sam are amazing movies based on true stories too. All will make you cry and 2 will make you angry at the injustice. I suggest watching the turkish version of miracle, the guys acting his amazing. Both the turkish and original Korean great but the turk wow. Avoid the Philippines version.
The thing about the two grown ups movies is that they really have a summertime vibe to them. Theres no big issue or problem to solve. Its just hanging out with your friends in the old town
The vibes really are unmatched, nothing comes close to the feel good moments you get while watching this
So true. I don't get all the hate Adam Sandler and Co. get. Most of his films are either just super goofy fun, or laid back funny with your friends types of film. And his more recent (other than punch drunk love and spanglish which were quite a few years back) more serious films have been great as well, his acting is actually really good. My man got busted with the Clark Kent. Didn't know it was Selma Hayek until the glasses came off. 😂
Her hat and glasses covered everything but her chin 🤣🤣 - J
She is a MILF for sure, even before her ethnicity comes into focus
muahahahaha good catch
She's a bona fide MILF. The woman doesn't age at all.
Please do part two! I love reactions where you’re just happy and enjoying the ride
RIP to the kid that played Adam Sandler’s son. 😔
Cameron boyce
The sexy guy at the water park died recently too😔
RIP Cameron great talent taken too soon
Chris Rock's wife is Maya Rudolph, she was on SNL for years. She was also great is Bridesmaids. Her mother is Minnie Ripperton, the woman who sang, "Lovin' You".
Your reactions always make me laugh, much appreciated J.
she does voice over for a character in Netflix big mouth. tht has a Star studded cast as well
She also voices Aunt Cass in Big Hero 6
She was the voice of Rapunzel in Shrek The Third, too
Maya Rudolph also did one of the best documentaries ever; Idiocracy !
With Luke Wilson!
Not to mention As Good As It Gets / Duets / Duplex / Wake Up, Ron Burgundy / 50 First Dates / MacGruber!
RIP Cameron Boyce and the “hot guy” at the park with the accent. One of my favorite Adam Sandler movies!
amen
20 years old
He was just a baby.
I heard it was from a seizure. The lifeguard dude just recently within a month passed away by sui***e.
Part 2 is on Par with the first. Same level and just as good.
One of my favorites. Great reaction. You should do part 2 soon it's just as good in my opinion.
there's something about watching JL laugh that makes me happy... thanks for making our days that much better my dude
One of the saddest facts ive heard about this movie, originally it was written in the 90s by Adam Sandler and kevin james role was written for Chris Farley and it got shelved after his passing
The WOOOOOO by Steve buschemi is one of the funniest things ever 😂
...and "Steve bus chemo" is another!!! Lmao
This film is hilarious. 😂 Great reaction bro! 👍🏿
For another great comedy about a family going on vacation to the woods watch The Great Outdoors (1988) starring John Candy.
#2 is as good of not better. One of the all time greatest mass fight scenes ever!
Got to see the second on in theaters… I was laughing so hard it was making others laugh more than normal 😂 They’re both really good. Awesome reaction 🤙🏻
HILARIOUS MOVIE! SEE Y'ALL AT THE PREMIERE! ROCK AND ROLL!
13:04 Woodman's Restaurant in Essex, MA. That's some of the best fried seafood and onion rings in the world! I used to go there at least once every summer with my family.
13:21 thats funny cause when Selma hyak was visiting africa she legit just pulled em out and started breastfeeding random babies
Grey's Anatomy is actually a very good show and an absolute emotional roller-coaster!
@JL Your commentary made this film FAR more enjoyable :) thanks for the upload
If you ever watched Boys Meets World the coach,Blake Clark, was Sean's dad, and he played in Home Improvement too.🙂
people need to react to good shows like that
You should definitely watch click if you haven’t already, that’s a great Adam sandler film
So happy that you are reacting to this movie. One of my top ten favorite movies, hope you enjoyed it and laughed a lot.😄👍
Anytime I am down, or just having a bad day, this is the movie I watch. Immediately cheers me up.
Exactly! If you have Salma Hayek why would you look at another. If it were me we would never leave the bedroom.
2:45 - Whoa, I think you’re right. Nice call.
You're my favorite reactor by far J! Thank you and Blank for all y'alls hard work
very fun movie... I get homesick when I watch it. I grew up close to where they filmed it.
@12:11 the kid in the light blue sweater vest is Cameron Boyce(RIP)
Please put 'I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry' and 'Pixels' on your list to watch! Really enjoyed this reaction, bring on part 2.
Amazing reaction as always. I hope you do the 2nd one too.
If cheerleader Salma makes this your #2 all time then check out Dogma. Great movie, and her role in that will have you speechless.
Check out The Wrong Missy with David Spade and Lauren Lapkus.
I can't wait for part 2, love that one even more
I alrdy know you'll enjoy this and the nxt one
I love that you reacted to this movie this is one of my favorite Adam Sandler movies ever! And yeah Salma Hayek is definitely fine af
19:00 we use to play that game but with lawn darts
Gen X is by far the toughest and jad the most fun and we weren't weak . The 80's were Epic
32:20
I know J reserves the phrase for when you’re actually supposed to see them, but I’m genuinely shocked he didn’t say, “That’s key to the plot?”
If you like Kevin James, I recommend "Here Comes The Boom".
7:40 I was wondering why he hadn’t said anything about her.
This movie cracks me up every time! You watching it made it even funnier. It's one of my favorite comedies and can't wait for you to see part 2
Movies like this makes me wish I had true childhood friends that keep in contact with you.
So, being that most of this was filmed near me, my cousin Alex was a production assistant on this film. He’s a model and clothing designer and did the wardrobe design for Adam Sandlers sons in this.

So excited for this one, while the second isn’t as good as this one it’s still a great movie
Your face said it all when rob lost his shit 😂😂
I've missed on purpose before. VERSUS A FRIEND DOWN ON HIS LUCK!!!!! Not an old enemy talking trash lol.. Great reaction video bro. Wait till you see the second one. I love these two movies, such great fun

I adore this movie and the sequel. The second isn’t as good as this one but it’s close. And are they thought provoking/deep movies- no. But sometimes it’s nice to just watch a fun lighthearted silly movie. So please do the sequel as well!!

U need to watch the second movie its pretty good too ❤
You talkin' about Poison's song 'Every Rose Has It's Thorn'.
Lol you're just the ABSOLUTE BEST reactor, ever! If you ever watch The Imposters, I'll DIE!! It's really funny with a lot of big names in the cast! My dad loved it and it always reminds me of him. I think you'd really enjoy it!
Greys is amazing! I never watched it until last year and now I'm hooked! Definitely think you should give it a try!
5:36 I recently seen an interview of Rob Schneider, I think on CBN, talking about God.
I think he also talked about a movie script or something he working on. I forgot the details of it.
Yes, Rob has been quite vocal about the wokeness of the left and about leaving that part of Hollywood. Adam Sandler, has always leaned more right
Where's Rob Schneider been?? Rob lives here in Scottsdale Arizona now... He got tired of Hollywood and California itself.. so he moved here and created his own production company.
Bro you really need to watch the movie wth Selma in it. It's called the Hitmans bodyguards wife.
One of my favorites, I watch this and Grown Ups 2 several times a year.
Loved this movie the first time I saw it. I think it was the perfect cast for a movie like this. Also, RIP to the kid who played Adam Sandler's youngest son, he sadly passed years back.

Adam Sandler. Nuff said 🙌🏻
Love the reaction.
So Excited for This❤❤❤
I would be laughing hard too if these guys showed up cracking jokes at a funeral. 😁🤭😅😂🤣☠
Now react to Hot Tub Time Machine.
Adam Sandler has grown up so much since The Cosby Show. That’s where I first saw him.
Did you know that Chris Farley was to play the character Eric Lamonsoff (Kevin James) but 2 years after Adam had written this movie Chris Farley died in 1997. So Adam had locked it away. Chris rocks wife in this is mya Rudolph she is SNL alumni and her mother RIP to the late great minie riperton. Now you have to watch ,grown-ups 2.
7:13 extreme creepy scene, 'lets turn sexual abuse into buddy humor!'
come on J let's get chocolate wasted!😂😂😂 I love these movies
5:38 Hollywood cast him out because he's a conservative now. That's mostly what happened. Plus he's older now.
I've got such a love/hate relationship with Adam Sandler comedies (mostly hate lol), but I will say THIS movie taps into my inner 13 year old who loves absolutely moronic comedy 😂
And honestly, watching you laugh at it makes ME laugh, so I guess I appreciate this movie more than usual lol
