OK, so here’s what I wanna do. I want to use the alesis as extra I/O going into my Rme interface. I also want to use the hard drive Spaces as a raid type situation for backups instead of my main hard drive….. two questions, how good are the converters? And can these be set up as a raid type situation?
@@pauldiaz4273 a simple midi cable. The Pro Tools sent a midi timecode to the Midi timepiece. And the timepiece is sync that with the Alesis adat…. if I remember correctly. :)

How do I make possible using adat alesis outputs? From any daw to alesis outputs.
I can use it only as an inputs.
Adat with digidesign synchronized 16 tracks by 2 adat cluster + 16 tracks digidesign 192 interface on daw. Needs 32 channel same time. Will to work?
Yes. It works! You need a sync interface for the Adat recorders. PT send a smpte timecode to a sync interface and its drove the Adat recorders.
You need one of syncronizer that have a adat snyc in-out port. For example a MOTU Digital Timepiece.
how did you do this? Im trying to do it with Logic Pro X
Me too
hi , still have the dolby sr for sell?
Yes.
The Dolby PSU has been fixed and now works properly.
What exactly did you use to set this up to sync perfectly?
I used the Motu Midi Timepiece.
Ok. Sync 9 pin going out of Adat into Midi timepiece? Or timepiece into Adat?
@@rtsasa1 I seem to recall that it was supposed to be Midi sync (midi timecode) between Pro Tools and Timepiece. And the 9 pin went into the Alesis...
@@articociwhat interface or cable you used to connect motu and pc?? Thank you
