For those who aren't regulars in Max's stream, "Truck-chan" is a nickname he came up with a few years ago while playing COD: Black Ops 4's BR mode, Blackout. It turned into a whole thing where all the vehicles got Japanese honorifics, like "Quad-kun" and "Heli-sama", which the chatroom dubbed "Max's Vehicular Harem". And the funny thing is he's not really into modern anime, so I'm fairly certain he didn't know about the whole "isekai truck" meme when he made the joke.
Truck-kun is a collective term in the anime community to mean the thing to Isekai the main character into a new world.
Been a fan of Max since 2015, but this is new to me. Thanks for the lore! 👍
DUDE the pink Truck Chan in black ops 4 was soooo funny. Those streams were fire I miss those max cod battle Royale streams.

His disappointment with Risu's truck getting canceled by a projectile later on was funny.
Yeah, Devs definitely should fix that. Otherwise against Zoner-Projectile characters like Aki or Sora, Risu's Truck will be rendered useless.
Honestly it's failed because botan got hit, the assist(collab) can't be canceled as long the player character didn't get hit mid attack with exception of the off collab
It isn't Cancelled by projectiles, just that the offensive assist disappear if you get hit

His 10/10 assists are, with the following reasons
- Risu's Truck = cause truck and reminds of Blodia's Fist from MvC
- Roboco (9/10) = basically the MvC Doctor Doom assist
- smol Ame (a 8 or 9?/10) = he likes the "rrrreeeeeeee"

Not really on final fantasy he's just overly obsessed with ff7 and everything that has to do with it. He is interested in some of the others but he definitely is obsessed with ff7.
Hell he even mentioned during his Sephiroth smash trailer analysis just how much he loves ff7 to the point he admitted to watching advent children a stupid amount of times knowing full well that movie sucks and still admits to enjoy watching it because it's connected to ff7.

I was watching his stream and someone who is familiar with fighting game is something else man, he learned all the combos down pat in like a few seconds. He started off with Botan and he already made her look more broken than it already was lol.

this was a great stream i’ve been watching Max since before i knew what a Vtuber was so it was a fun crossover. i’m happy this game has gotten so much wide spread attention, it shows how much the devs put into it.

Well, it takes a lot of time for editing. His channel currently has the reaction to Sylvie's trailer for KOFXV, his Idol Showdown online plays, the Parsec tutorial for SF6, and his reaction to the Chrono Odyssey trailer, which were all from the same stream. I'm a longtime fighting game fan like Max; I started with SF II in the arcades back in 1991, and it's been my favorite genre ever since. As a game reviewer, I'm up for playing anything, But I'll _always_ come back to fighting games. SF, Art of Fighting, Fatal Fury, KoF, Samurai Shodown, Darkstalkers, Capcom VS Everyone, MK, VF, Tekken, Dead Or Alive, Soul Caliibur, Bloody Roar, Guilty Gear, BlazBlue, Persona, Under Night... So many great series. And if you have that much experience, you can tell just how much the devs know their fighting games. Idol Showdown is filled with all kinds of moves and mechanics from other fighting games. It's been a lot of fun digging through the command list and seeing all the references. I've also been a Hololive fan for a few years now, so seeing two of my favorite pastimes crossing over has been a really interesting experience. I can't wait to see who will be added to the roster next.

Unfortunately, Risu's truck get cancelled when countered with Projectile. The Devs should fix this and make Risu's Truck stronger LOL. Otherwise Roboco's Beam would be a better option.

There's really no reason to invite her. Tko's guests have a pretty solid grasp on the foundation of fighting games. While I'm glad that calli like gg, unless she improved A LOT since her earlier days, she doesn't have a lot to bring to the discussion.
