Even with your potholes your lane is still better than a lot of our public lanes around Kent. Great update as ever on your day to day life. 👍

Hi James, that was the perfect demonstration of how to fix a potholed lane shame you popped your track though it never breaks when it’s parked in the shed lol👍

Hi James + Max, Max is doing a great job loading the trailer, he is one good young driver. Gutted the the track failed now when you need it. Your doing a great job on the repair on your farm lane, you have got some good farming equipment ,tools for the job. Good to see Josh doing his bit, he's good on the rake,
Hope you all have a great weekend, Take care

Thank you Shaun, Max does well, he’s got the eye for it. I should put Josh on the rake more often lol .

I think some councils and departments for infrastructure need to see this video as to how properly fix a pot hole and have it not reoccur

looks like a lot of work for a few pot holes there was no need to dig it all down that deep only needed to get an old level harrow run up and down the hole track and then roll it down again & you wouldn't needed any more planning then and hole track would be done in no time

You couldn’t really see from the video but that whole area was very unlevel
Where the wash/silt had gathered. So it made sense to us 👍🏼

If you are using a vibrating roller for the stones or a wackerplate then be sure to use some water to not only dampen the dust but to allow it to bed in properly

You put plannings back down james?
If so, when you come to wacker it back, give it a coating of diesel first..
Will help bind it all back and make it solid..

That will be a Great job done once done James, you need to get old zig zag harrows, chain one or two to the back of the Atv and go up and down the lane keeps on top the pot holes 👍

Would be worth coating with stone dust to seal the top surface to help keep the rain out

No plainings miles better stone dust is useless in comparison
