I have owned full suspension bikes over the years and I know the newest designs are top notch, but like yourself, I love the simplicity of the hardtail. Plus size tires were the best thing ever for good trail hardtails. I have a plus hardtail and absolutely love it and have no regrets in not buying another full suss.

Nice video. I've been riding my H.T. for almost a year and now I'm really starting to understand it and more about riding. I agree with your 9 reasons, and yes F.S. is nice, but all things considered Hard Tails really do the job, and are fun.

Valid reasons, but give me my full suspension any day. I still remember the first time I rode it, and I was amazed at how it soaked up the rocky terrain where I live. My hard tail never comes out of the shed these days.

I currently ride a full sus, but if I were to buy a new bike, it'd be a hardtail. For most of the reasons you state, but also because it's lighter and you put more power down on the climbs. Cool vids, +1 subscriber.

I have a hard tail with basic components but with a really good frame. As things break and are replaced it’s become a dream bike and extremely affordable.

I think it depends on local conditions, Where I ride is very rooty , a hard tail would be very hard work .

I love my 2006 Banshee Scirocco to this day. I just spent around 2K on motor, etc and upgrades and rearranging the cockpit... ‘Tis bike was made for 160nm’s of torque. I’m sorry, that Trek looks spindly...well, compared to my bike. It was clearly over-built. Although by today’s standards, the geometry is a bit weird, but it suites me just fine. My local trails are a total yawner if you’ve got an f/s bike with more than 4”s travel. I learned the hard way. My first bike was a hardtail with front suspension, and my last bike is the same, with just more travel.
I’m retired and don’t remember having this much fun.
    Seriously

Simply the best.👍. I just sold my hard tail to buy full suspension. But I changed my mind. Can u give me ur opinion on Giant Fathom 1 (2022) 27.5 . I want to go for that bike. It's a bit costly like nearly full suspension giant stance. But I am thinking about to go for fathom. What are my other options in price comparison.?? Can someone suggest me??

I’ve had full susser and hard tails personally I like the hard tail more than a full susser I’ve ridden red and black trails and believe me hard tail is better than full susser by a raving mile it’s cheaper easier to service and far more full
