#CowboyBoots #sponsored #ariat
I own the bench made stillwell, a pair of Lucchese classics, and a pair of Cody James boots and Ariat steel toes. The bench made is my go too, the most comfortable boots I’ve ever owned
Wow even next to Lucchese! Impressive!
I just purchased the Bench Made Stilwell caiman boots so I am very pleased to read this. Thanks for the comment.
I literally just searched for “Ariat bench made boots / Jeremiah Craig” last night And was super bummed that you hadn’t done a review yet. One day later the review is here. Wow!! thanks for being so on top of your game! Love your videos!
Thanks so much for being a regular viewer! It means a lot
I hit the video immediately, not a fan of Ariat use of China made boots but dam do I love their classic cowboy and square toe line if I can find a made in Mexico version for better leather quality and smell! these look amazing not ganna lie! Keep making those Boots videos bud! The world needs more to bring back boots more!
The patriot square toe boots I purchased from them were made in Mexico. Not all of their boots are made in china.
Interesting that you mention Tecovas. I'm immediately reminded of the Tecovas Stockton boot, also in bison leather, also made in Mexico, and at a very similar price. The big difference is that the Stockton has a grippy Vibram outsole, as that boot is more work-focused.
They’re probably made in the same factory.
Jeremiah, thanks to you, this video on the Ariat Bench Made Clanton boots convinced me to order a pair today. I was able to save both the shipping cost and 10% on the price by becoming an
Inside Member. I can't wait for them to arrive!
Follow-Up... I received the boots four days after ordering them...Ariat really "brought it!" Unfortunately, however, they were too small. I wear an 8 1/2 D but ordered a 9 1/2 D, and they were impossible for me to get on. The straight shaft looks great, but it's too narrow to get my feet into. In fact, my toes can't even reach the insole. Sorry to say, I am returning them for a refund.
Looks a good looking everyday boot. Like the fact they went for calf skin lining rather than cloth.
finally someone covering this boot line. I have the Hardin boot and is one of my favorite boots that I own. I hope someone goes over the exotic ones even though i expect similiar results, but nice to see how those turned out.
I got a pair of the caimans in May. It’s my favorite pair of boots I own. It’s made exceptionally well and comfortable.
@@grayking2704Hey same guy but different account. Do you have the roper or full boot? I was wanting the full boot but they are out of stock in my size, but I might get the roper if the reviews are good.
I picked up the james benchmade boots for about 200 bucks. So glad i did! Idk if its a sale or what but super hyped on these rough out boots!
You're the first reviewer that I've seen do a video on these boots. I was wondering if these were a good boot but I hadn't seen anyone else review these. Glad to hear that they are good boots because I haven't been a big fan of Ariat in the past due to many of their boots being made in China and I am also not a fan of the wide tops.
Those Ariat Bison boots look great. It will be interesting to see what Ariat does with this line of boots.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Don't say that! Say that he needs to put on a black leather pair. Yea.
Another great video @JeremiahCraig. I cant say this enough, thanks for making great and positive content. I really like boots but your videos really get me hyped up about them. Thanks brother!
I appreciate you saying this. It's nice to get hyped with other people about something I really enjoy!
I have the Stilwell’s Camin belly bench made boots and I love them!!!
Hands down one of the best boots I own.
Awesome!
Ive been waiting for ya to do a review on their Bench Made Line.
Roper boots are the best type of cowboy boots to wear. Very well made attractive boots certainly you get your money's worth my size as well, great review!
Just ordered me a pair of bench made james boots! It's a round toe oil tanned roughout super excited to get them!
Did you get them yet? I’m looking at a pair of James myself.
Yup just got them a few days ago they are amazing and i highly recommend!
I received a pair of the ostrich skin boots recently. They are extremely well made, especially for the price. I have Tecovas, and these are definitely better made than them; which I’d describe as ‘city boots’. I think Ariat Benchmade are a direct competitor to Chisos, which I also have - and they’re also wonderful boots. These are significantly cheaper though, and a home run imo. I may buy the bison ones next, just because they look so good.
I bought Bench Made at Stages West in Pigeon Forge TN - Square Toe Pair, plus a Pair of Elk Bench Made and a third pair Ostrich Western Boot - All Bench Made.
Love the bison leather, and the non-square toe options.
I'm gonna order their Benchmade Black bison leather Bassett pair soon. So stoked! It's nice that they're doing a more traditional handmade line with these
I chose this boot over the Tecovas boot, at first I was all about Tecovas then I tried on some Ariat boots and liked them better.
I also knew what size I wore in an Ariat boot, after trying some on in a store. the leather looks thicker on the bench made ariat boot than the tecovas to me.
Just picked up a pair of these. Absolutely love them! The quality is outstanding
I have the harden moose leather bench mades and like them a lot. the calf skin lining is amazing and your socks never smell, even after a long day.
FINALLY!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 thanks for finally checking them out. the James are even better!
Those are fire Jeremiah!!!! Excellent video
This boot and the Earl from Tecovas are nearly identical price. I am personally a fan of the look of this brown Ariat with its natural pebbling over the Tecovas, curious on build quality and comfort differences as I own neither.
I own 3 pairs of Tecovas and I will tell you that they are great boots and a great value. I am tempted to get a pair of these Ariats because I like the look but I haven't had the best experience with Ariat in the past. I would need to see a long term review before I decide to get a pair.
Looks nice and like you the narrow top is a great help to ware different cuffed jeans. I'm putting my bid in to review the Dan Poast Dorsal Sea Bass boot, smaller scales look unique and very cool. Keep up the great job you do on your channel.
Thanks buddy! I'll see what I can do!
That's a great looking & seemingly quality made boot. I like it. My only caveat is, that I've never liked removable insoles, but it's nice to see it also has the hard leather insole. I think Ariat Bench Mades are going to be a very good contender to the comparable competition! Thanks JC 👍
If you need a size higher than 13, you might be able to take the insole out and actually fit into them! I agree on the contender comment. We'll have to see how these do against other boots in a similar price point
I really wish companies would carry larger sized boots in a wider array of selection choices for those of us with bigger feet.
Great review Jeremiah, I was waiting for this review. Boot looks nice.
Thanks Mario!
nice boots would like to see a future update on these how there holding up
Great video 👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
That's a nice looking boot! I would consider buying one just so I could have a pair of Ariat boots in my collection.
Very Nice looking boot. You really hit all the marks explaining how it’s made. Love the color and Bison leather. Great Video.
Sizing question. Compared to a Cody James roper or jrc roper would these fit similar.
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but for $519 you can get a custom made boot from Beck Cowboy boots. They actually take a mold of your feet, besides measurements of your foot and calf, to make your own last. It’s a ten week wait list for the cowboy special. I got mine a month ago and I’ve never had a boot this comfortable. They pop on with little effort right out of the box and pop off with a little bit of effort too.
But their website lists $700 and 12 month wait time...
@@1guarino you will be getting the Cowboy special. Call them up and make sure, but you will order the free sizing kit (it might be a couple of bucks to ship). Once you send it in to them you have a choice on full custom for $700 or the cowboy special for $519.00. The cowboy special only gives you a few choices on stitching and colors for it. That’s why it’s a 10 week wait for the cowboy special. I just received my full custom boots last month and I’ve never had such great fitting boots. I ordered another pair of the specials two weeks after getting my customs. They’re that comfortable. I waited a full 12 months for my customs and it really was worth it. They are incredibly friendly when you call. Good luck!
@@1guarinoLook for the cowboy special which is what the OP is talking about. Choice of two heights, choice of leathers and colors. They make them to the standard size they think will fit you based upon the foam imprint you send them, so not true custom. Those are the ones that start at $700.
So it's work getting them on and off?? Little effort and little bit of effort mean two different things to me.. little effort means it's easy. Little bit of effort means it's a little bit of work.
@@stevemalone6012 ok, I can pop them off easily using my feet with hardly any effort. When putting them on it’s just stepping into them. There’s a nice bit of resistance right before your heel thumps into place. I see my confusing word choice now. Sorry about that.
I RECEIVED MY PRIZE PACKAGE FROM YOUR PREVIOUS GIVEVAWAY! Your fathfulness to your subscribers is noted. Thank you very much for a great channel of music and giveaways. Good luck to everyone next time!
When they were counter to counter, did i really see the heels at 2 different heights?
This boot came out of left field. Did not expect this from Ariat
Agreed!
Fantastic review and those boots are gorgeous!!
Looks good! Have you ever had toe taps installed on the soles to prevent premature wear on the front portion of the sole of the boots.
Do you think bison is as durable as elephant, or is it more of a middle ground between cowhide and elephant? I’m thinking about getting either the high heeled version of this bench made (Clanton) or the tecovas Prescott. Which do you prefer? I saw your Prescott review. PS: I got a bench made James in rough out for Christmas. Haven’t had it long enough to say for sure but out of the box yes these seem more semi custom quality
Nice looking boots and good review!
Thanks Joe!
Great looking boots, I’d love to get a pair to try out👍👍
How much narrower are the shafts on these compared to the heritage Roper? The heritage Ropers fit me perfectly, but I know a lot of people complain about the chefs.
Do you have a video that goes over soles? I don’t know what 7 or 11 iron means. Boot looks great
Not yet but I'll get working on one!
@@JeremiahCraig go tell your wife, noobs, they don’t know nothing!
Keep picking and congrats on your sponsorship. Wish it was a US company but they are big. Those bench made look good!
Love you Jeremiah! I do have a question: Did you condition the Ariats out of the box. I have some on order and I was wondering if I should use conditioner before I wear them. Thanks Buddy
Love the videos. Could you do one on Justin Haynes CJ2000?
How tight or loose is the vamp area?? I have trouble finding well fitting boots because I have a wide "toe box" but a thin foot around the knuckle. Those look great!
Do you ever think Chisos will offer a rubber outsole form the factory ?
Very nice.
Woah these boots look really classy
Classy ain't the word I was thinking of to describe them boots of his. Ugh!
Is the shaft suitable for slim jeans?
Nice looking boot. Looks like Ariat is trying to compete with Tecovas and Chisos boots . Wonder how well they will hold up ?
I'll be wearing them around and will report at the end of the year!
Looking forward to your follow-up. I just bought both the Stilwell and the James. Bought both because I couldn’t decide between the two.
Are these above the tekstep?
Just got my pair they are ostrich, I wear size 9 ariats and I ordered them on 9 as well but they didn't fit. They were too small.
Seems like they're going after chisos with these
Maybe so!
Have you tried Korwin boots. Not much information about them. Looks like expensive soles
Can i ask, i noticed the boot are size 11. Is that your tennis shoe size?
I wear a size 11 tennis shoe, but I've seen some say get 1/2 size smaller in a boot. Is that correct?
Thks
I bought and returned these boots. The heel is too tall for what they are. They VERY well made with great materials, I could just can't be comfortable with the high heel.
I have a feeling Ariat has this boot made by someone else, and they just put their name on it.
Most likely but that's what most companies are doing. There aren't as many boot factories in Mexico as there are brands
ariat should pay you money because i just bought a pair after i found out JKwestern doesnt ship to alaska.
Leon’ Mexico explains the 300 dollar tag. Do you get to keep them .?? “
Anybody notice one heel is slightly taller than the other?
😍
These would be perfect if they dropped the heel down to a 1in.
I’m not to much of a fan of round toe, more of a wide square toe boot. But these bench made boots look amazing. Time to save up and break the wallet lol
I think you’ll be happy to know that they have plenty of square toe options too. There’s also some narrow square toe options too.
👌
I guess they can send you a free pair of boots but I've been waiting for my order for two weeks as they say they had a security breech hope everyone's credit cards are safe.
Looks like a RW Pecos
It does kind of! Different leather and heel though
Any thoughts on the bench made Basset or Clayton? I’ve been eyeing those. Your channel has revived my love of boots! Just found a saddlery near me that has old new stock Lucchese!
Thank God, pointed toes!
I would say they brought it pretty well, until I sent a pair of black ostrich stilwells and never received anything back. Weeks later I called to be told they were out of stock and had no idea when or if they have more! To me they dropped the ball big time! Major disappointment.. probably won't be giving ariat any more of my money after wasting my time.
They look like they modeled after chisos.
Jeremiah,I sent you an email but you never replied?
I never got an email from you. Trying sending again
This or Chisos?
Chisos are literally DOUBLE the price of the Ariat benchmade line. Why TF would you even consider Chisos? They are overhyped overpriced gimmick 😂😂😂😂.
Where else would you make a pair of boots? On the floor…..
Did he say catskin
Of course made in Mexico
Honestly if they aren't made in Mexico I don't want them.
@@John-sx1sb I agree
Mexico has the best bookmakers in the world.
@@MarcP5267we do. But I'm from Mexico and recently I importes a pair from Indonesia, not cowboy boots, more like a old style hiking boot and man they make quality too.
@@MarcP5267plus from the USA I have my redwings. Dang. A pair for life.
Bench Made or China Made?
With ariat, if it has a rubber sole and clothe inside, it's China made. Leather soles and leather lined, Mexican made.
Ariat boots are made in China, Mexico, Vietnam and Italy.
Ok now cut it in half.
That's a Rose Anvil thing haha! I actually wear boots on this channel and report back on how they break in so check in at the end of the year and I'll have an update on these
How do they compare to the wolverine Blvd boots you tried on?
These are next level from those. These have a better heel counter that feels like leather and much stiffer, better leather overall, better insole and footbed and more comfortable
Have much that bary😊
Soooo....I'm supposed to buy these boots even though they are RACIST??? ARIAT VS ARIAN NATION.....YEA OK!!! KEEP THESE WHITE BOYS
Ariat Benchmade line is the best value/quality out there. Price is spot on for this, fantastic. Please stop comparing these to sht, overpriced, over hyped crap like Chisos or Tecovas. Chisos is literally double the price ($600!!!) for nothing. And dont even get me started on Tecovas - so overpriced and absolutely no modern technology built in. If I wanted to buy classic “old world” uncomfortable boots for a fortune Id get Luchesse 😂. Ariats are great - dont fall into the trap that “Big Corporate” is bad, and “mom n pop” start up is good. Its a scam - these Tecovas pop ups etc are all marketing gimmick preying on millenial youngsters who have more money than brains and go for that marketing image kumbaya we all love eachother social justice BS 😂. The Ariats are the best bang for your buck.
