I started doing research on a fridge slide, I don’t think a compressor does well over time being tilted do a drop down is a must between the two. Appreciated the review and glad Zi watched, the handle operation makes perfect sense and honestly sealed the deal for the Clearview…and the table…genius. Appreciate the review! Great job.
Great review i was after, i agree the struts look stronger than msa. My only drama is my canopy out side edge site 40mm insinde my tray, i think it might just not come out far enough to drop compared to the msa that folds away as it goes down. I agree on the handle issues. Cheers
I was explaining to everyone at the 4wd show. That was my biggest concern as well before buying it. I was worried it would hit my canopy door or wouldn't come out far enough to drop down. Check out their website for specs. They have the measurements of how far it comes out before dropping down. Then you can confirm if it's going to fit 👍
Hey mate what’s with the long duster coat, you live in Australia what the hell I live in the Rocky Mountains in Canada went for a walk today it was -38° and I’m looking at year with a nice sunny day and you’re in a long duster coat shaking my head in disbelief. Looks like a great product I’ll have to look into one of these for my Toyota Tacoma appreciate the video thanks. Never mind about the code you explain at the end it’s because you’re Mrs. bought you a coat and you wanted to show it off.
So I need your opinion.. I just purchased a 45L single zone fridge from IceCo - it's a chest style unit, not like the smaller Dometics or ARBs. I want to mount this onto my BedSlide and clear the tailgate would this type of drop down action put too much strain on the BedSlide or should it be fine as the fridge is under 50lbs and I won't have it fully stocked for weekend treks?
You have to account for the fridge weight but also the fridge slide. I eventually removed this fridge slide and went upright fridge. I saved 45kgs by getting rid of the fridge slide. It's a fantastic product and great quality but any weight you can save in a 4wd the better 👍
I know drawers can handle a lot of weight but I'm not sure about the slide above drawers. You'd probably have to contact the drawer supplier for weight limits
Around 40kgs so not light. But that's the downside to any fridge slide. In the future I'm considering changing to an upright fridge so I don't need a fridge slide

Cheers mate 👍 I absolutely love it 😀

Great review thanks for the info
Well done on the review looks good to me.👍
Thanks mate 👍 I tried to be as honest & open about it as possible
At 2:07. What is your measurement from the edge of tray to the front edge of the slide unit inside the canopy?
Hey mate it's 100mm

Haha we live in a warm climate here & we're not used to cold weather here lol

@@Campingdownunder I definitely agree with the weight savings! Just trying to create a comfortable set up as much as possible!

Just curious how heavy the fridge slide is

@@Campingdownunder made mine from Alumenium 10kg
Where are you located?
Riverland south Australia
I can not fault my Kings Fridge , at all .
I had some drama's with it but it turned out not to be the fridge. They work great 👍
$900+ can't justify that for for a drop down joint.
I'm no longer running this now. I've since upgraded to a bushman's fridge & saved 45kgs by getting rid of a fridge slide
@@Campingdownunder how the upright fridge go with your food getting bounced around?
I fully load one shelf before starting the next shelf and then never have an issue 👍
