...was getting all into the video and all of a sudden David steps in with a cameo! I think a regular video format would be better than a live video because you can cut out all the BS and show more of the important points. A "live" type video of how to handle the cutting tools and go about poking them around inside the port/chamber would be a great video all by itself though. ...one day I hope to have the funds available to go to Amazon and order EVERY book David has ever written. What a library that would be.
Andy, do both! Do it live and in video form, and let the viewers decide how deeply they want to understand how to achieve big CFM's. God bless AW & DV.
Hell yes!! Now you are talking my language having the big block ford😁👍 For me definitely video due to my work and home life schedules. Rarely can I attend the live feeds without distractions. Thanks Andy and David!!
Yes, actually seeing how someone is porting something, while they are doing it, is better than a 400 page book on the subject!! I've always been a visual learner. You can explain in words, something to me until you're blue in the face, and I'll never get what you're talking about, but do it in front of me, and I can get it in a matter of minutes!! Count this as one vote for video showing what you're doing and why you're doing it. 👍🤩
Ah, Vizard the Wizard... I'm still driving my 1981 1400cc Vizard spec Mini with a modern day cam. Still goes a lot faster than I am brave enough to drive these days. He inspired generations of tuners, amateur & professional.
Looking foward to following this series, my personal preference is video form, live feeds seem to get off topic quite a bit and a tutorial series possibly with a final live interaction would be awesome in my opinion.
I vote for video, you do a great job on video. D.V.'s old flowbench should still have the Pitot tubes I set up a while ago. Getting the stock air speeds will give a ver good indication what needs work. Thanks
Great idea for a video series! Please do individual videos specific to each flow improvement correction. Life streams are optional, but I unfortunately avoid them because they are always way too long, and the good tech tends to be less dense and rather sparse.
Totally agree, while it's nice to see the work that improves flow, it's better to know where to get the most for the least amount of work without having to watch the long drawn out process to do the work. Show us where to improve the flow and how much is gained from each particular process, and how long it took you to actually do the work. Thanks Andy, for doing this series.
Hi Andy. I vote for video form. The questions are too rapid fire with the live stream and not everyone's schedule works to view live. I would rather have the time to have the info sink in and then pose a question, but I'm old so that's just me. Andrew
I would like to see how much power that the Victor Jr's make. MPG has a porting, and cam pkg that makes 600 hp with the factory iron heads. I vote yes on the porting videos. A 460 in my 2002 Crustang would make a good drag and drive rig!!
Much like David's videos your videos are far too good to be so short. I would definitely love to see longer more in depth videos but this series. Is absolutely perfect for me on the basis that I'm. Going to be? Building a four sixty for my seventy four lincoln mark for hair pretty soon
I would say for sure do a pre test then do all the porting without ever going back to the flow bench just using the golden rules then test it and see what you gained.
😢so glad to see BBF vids I need to know what's wrong with dove C heads To make it easier on you port it off camera just show the steps You have a lot on your plate BBF doesn't get the credit it deserves it will take a big stroker crank without touching the block Can't do that with a Chevy big block
Yes please!! I'm currently working on a set of SCJ heads and would like to know how close you can come to the head gaskets in unshrouding the chamber/polishing it.. Mine almost touched the gasket from the factory with a 4.500 gasket...
I do have a question about the less valve angle of the Ford head since the port is still lower like the BBC would the port of the Ford would have to make a sharper turn because of the less valve angle so a raised runner can help it better. Like a SBC from 23 to 18 degree head you want a raised runner to make a better turn for that less valve angle I was thinking about it
Hi Andy. Could you or Mr. Vizard explain how the intake valve angle affects the 128 rule for determining LSA? I would love to be able to attend Mr.V's school. Does he still do this or no? Thanks, Jody.
Andy, can you answer this please, David spoke about 8:1 Dynamic and 200psi, and 87octane what would 9:1 require? David moved one before mentioning it. And what would the cylinder be around?
You know Andy everyone's is buying high dollar aluminum heads but if you applied your knowledge on a set of cobra jet heads other than weight I think that you would have a better head
I would rather NOT watch the porting video as a live stream, IMO you can put a better video together if you take your time. Thank you for all the wisdom your sharing! I'm always learning and getting more inspiration every time I watch your channel! Keep up the great content
I have DVs porting book, and all the other available books. Trying hard to find the crank & rod book but it is out of print and scarce. Please just record everything and put some music to it…. 8 hrs? I’ll watch it all.
I think filming it as a series would be a better way to show the process step by step, rather than trying to talk and work live. There's a lot to think about either way.
Of course you as having a business do not want to tell all you know. But that leaves us with half the truth. And half the truth is no truth. So well what will it be (?).

Looking forward to this for sure

This is the golden ticket. Can't wait to see more and learn more!
Thanks for doing the BBF stuff, will be watching all of your videos.
Really looking forward to this series Andy. Don't see much BBF Ford stuff in Australia, mainly because it was never sold by Ford here. Regards Greg
You guys got all the Clevelands tho !
@badass6.0powerstroke10 absolutely. Unfortunately it ruined us when it comes to just about everything else out there
Always love the tech videos
Do it as a video. Livestreams tend to be too long. Looking forward to this series. I have a set of D3VE heads that need porting.
As the owner of a mild built early(short deck high compression) 460 I would love to see how to get all the flow on my stock D0VE heads!
Looking foward to following this series, my personal preference is video form, live feeds seem to get off topic quite a bit and a tutorial series possibly with a final live interaction would be awesome in my opinion.
I have never bought any TH-camr Merch, never plan on it. But I like that hat and want one now.
Heck yeah!
Andy
Lives are fun on TH-cam! But whatever y’all do, I’ll be watching 👍
I think you should do it in video form that way u can make sure u get all of the good info into every video
I vote for video, you do a great job on video. D.V.'s old flowbench should still have the Pitot tubes I set up a while ago. Getting the stock air speeds will give a ver good indication what needs work. Thanks
Those heads look really nice to me. They will make power
Can't wait to see the video series
You rock and so does the professor
Very good information Andy.
This will be a good Technical series.
Thanks for sharing.
Take care, Ed.
Sounds like a great series
Thanks Andy!
More awesome tech. Well done. Thanks for the video.
Hi Andy, you are a good teacher and explain things very well. I look forward to the video series showing porting.
I'm looking forward to this. Also, waiting for the 2V mod motor stuff.
Andy id love to see how to properly lay back the short side on the exhaust like you were talking about using DV methods
Great idea for a video series!

Finally, some love for the 385 series! Live would be interesting but may take time away from the content.
Ive got a few of davids books Including the porting book best money ive spent ,keep the great content coming andy👍🍻🇦🇺
Thanks! Andy! If you are willing to spend your time, I'm in , at least buy lunch!
Thank you so Much!
Andy
I would love to see you do a set of traditional Pontiac heads!I have a set that go 340@27” but would love to see how good they could be…
Please unshroud the combustion chamber 1st. This is going to be a great series!
My preference would be to segment the video to show each section of material removal with a tutorial in how you got there.
I would like to see how much power that the Victor Jr's make. MPG has a porting, and cam pkg that makes 600 hp with the factory iron heads. I vote yes on the porting videos. A 460 in my 2002 Crustang would make a good drag and drive rig!!

However you do it, it will be greatly appreciated.

You have a lot on your plate
BBF doesn't get the credit it deserves it will take a big stroker crank without touching the block

any chance you can show us how to port a 4.6 2 valve head at some point in time? i would be so greatfull!!!!!!!!!!! thanks for what you guys do!!!!

Have you ever anodized cylinder heads?
Let's see it live
Andy what is the difference in the victor jr and rpm performer head ?
Hi Andy. Could you or Mr. Vizard explain how the intake valve angle affects the 128 rule for determining LSA? I would love to be able to attend Mr.V's school. Does he still do this or no? Thanks, Jody.

I'm building a 300 online 6 with the EFI head the valves are shrouded and I've read to leave it alone just port match . Thoughts ?
nice vid.
You know Andy everyone's is buying high dollar aluminum heads but if you applied your knowledge on a set of cobra jet heads other than weight I think that you would have a better head
Sweet
I would rather NOT watch the porting video as a live stream, IMO you can put a better video together if you take your time. Thank you for all the wisdom your sharing! I'm always learning and getting more inspiration every time I watch your channel! Keep up the great content
How you choose to present the info. matters not to me, just keep it coming!
I have DVs porting book, and all the other available books. Trying hard to find the crank & rod book but it is out of print and scarce. Please just record everything and put some music to it…. 8 hrs? I’ll watch it all.
👍💪
Bust out the grinder
Record it on video and sped up
I think filming it as a series would be a better way to show the process step by step, rather than trying to talk and work live. There's a lot to think about either way.
I rarely watch live stream mechanicals. 90% of clock time is a waste of my time.
Info vs my time.
Of course you as having a business do not want to tell all you know. But that leaves us with half the truth. And half the truth is no truth. So well what will it be (?).
Wow 😮Livestream while porting? Talk about the ultimate give back to the car community!!!!! Yikes!
