Prague is one of our favourite cities, but Hallstatt is a close second. I’d stay there again for a longer stay if it was possible. One of the most peaceful places, the scenery is unbelievably beautiful. Breathtakingly the best place to wake up in the mornings. With the mountains surrounding you. Even the one day when it was cloudy with fog, it was magical. Visit this place, you will not regret. We stayed at one of the hotels on the water, Heritage Hotel Restaurant and Cafe.

Hi Suzanne, would you say that it's easy to go up the mountains, pathways etc? I'm not talking about reaching the top of the mountain, but rather if there is alot of pathways on the mountain that you can walk on... Thinking about traveling to this place

This is the BEST video I have seen of Hallstatt. It shows the village in its entirety with its mountains and the lake at a slow speed so that we can absorb the magical beauty of this place. Maybe because there is not that much interference around those parts. Try doing this with a Phantom 3 in a major city. Still, this is an awesome video. I have NEVER watched frozen but now I'm curious about the architecture based on this video. So now...I must watch Frozen 1 & 2
