So the German signaling system is pretty complicated, you can watch ptgrail’s video for the full explanation. But to summarize: There are home signals, and distant signals Home signals are the ones with 3 lights lining up in a straight line with 1 light on the side. Green means clear, Red means stop, Green over yellow means slow down to 40 km/h unless stated otherwise, flashing green means it's a warning for an upcoming speed restriction. The number on top of a signal means the speed limit while passing a signal. For example, 4 means 40km/h, 9 means 90 km/h and so on. Triangle means it's the warning off an upcoming speed restriction. Distant signals are the ones that have lights showing diagonally. 2 greens means the next signal is clear, 2 yellows means that the next signal is showing a cautionary aspect. Green on the top right and yellow on the bottom left means that the next signal is gonna make you slow down to between 60-80km/h unless indicated otherwise.
Nice video. buuuut well... you need to learn a bit more about the train signals and safty systems. and i can help you if you want :) to your question at 29:50 DTG is kinda dumb sometimes and doesn't put all the track signals (in this case a LF 7) where it should be... and also speed up AFTER you have passed a signal with a higher speed limit with the FULL train :)
