Chelsea want to sign Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling this summer.
Thomas Tuchel is a big admirer of the winger, who is out of contract next summer. The Blues boss believes Sterling is better suited to Chelsea's style of play compared to Romelu Lukaku, who is likely to go out on loan to former club Inter Milan.

I’m very surprised city don’t do more to keep sterling. Consistently grabs double figures for goals and assists. People might not think he is “world class” but regardless he is a top top player who guarantees a solid contribution. Much better than grealish who guarantees you a good session out after everyone else wins the trophies

If you actually believe that City will sell Sterling to a direct rival for £35M then you're an idiot. £35M is the fee that Chelsea want to pay, not the fee that City want, City want £60M for him, just like Arsenal offered £30M for Jesus, City said "don't come back until you have £50M" there's no way in hell Sterling leaves for anything less than £45M minimum, otherwise I see City just keeping him.

Sterling played the same minutes as KDB last season in the league and got 13 goals,7 assists,he has by no means been shunned by Pep so it will take the right price to buy him especially for a premier league rival getting an English player.
With 1 year left on his contract, the right price isn't that high. Next summer he leaves for free. I imagine 30-35 million will be the most anyone would pay.

If all add ons are missed the fee is like 36 million.
