I like it for when I need to hold down an image to let the glue dry. Magnets are so much stronger than a stamp block. Thank you for showing us these tips.

Hi Simon,. I have the mini Stay-tion and wondered if I could watercolor on it , it would be great to hold the paper down with the magnets and then move it aside to dry. Thank you.
Simon, that's a great tip about not having to mask! I agree with you, it's a lot of extra work and yours turned out great without it! I would probably use the station mostly with stencils. I really like that the magnets to hold the stencil down so that you can concentrate on your creating!

I love the mat, but was very disappointed that some of the grid is coming off... I haven’t used any cleaners on it at all.. not sure what happened, but I’ve seen others have the same issue.. the grids are some of what sold me on it.. I hope they can fix this problem...

Since this is metal, could you use the reverse side for ink smooshing and other techniques, where you wouldn't care if the back got stained?
