  • Doll has been a hot topic recently, mostly due yo her death in the recent episode 7 of murder drones. People have been saying she is a wasted character, and while she definitely could have been handled better, she was DEFINITELY not wasted. In fact, her death represents her character very well for what it stands for. If you do enjoy the video, please make sure to like and subscribe, it’d mean a lot and help the video grow more.

Doll is such a tragic character… she’s a perfect parallel to Uzi if she stayed solo. Uzi even offered her a chance to turn things around but she still refused because she “didn’t need help.”

EXACTLY! Thats why i get so mad when people call her “wasted”

This is my take. I think Doll's death worked thematically, as she did everything alone. She pushed away anyone that could have helped her, so she died the way she lived, alone in a dark cave.
However I do think it was pretty anti-climatic that she died in the way and time that she did. She never got closure to her parents, never found out that she killed V (in the character's eyes) and she died too suddenly. So I'm pretty torn on her death. On the one hand, it fits perfectly thematically, but on the other it feels anticlimactic, and unfulfilling.

Doll is definitely in my top 3 of favorite characters, and I can see why and how it worked in her story for her to die. Its just sad that she didnt get much screen time died pretty early into it 😔

I agree Doll wasn't a wasted character. With that said however, her death was a complete waste because her whole story arc was for nothing. Nothing she did had any payoff to it whatsoever. What was the point of her seeking answers in the Cabin Fever Labs if she wasn't going to get them in the end? Wasn't that the whole point of her arc as a villain? Worse yet, she couldn't even get one final battle to the death with N, Uzi and the others as a way to have her story end with a bang. Instead, it ended with a whimper.
While I'm not going to say the way she died at the hands of Cyn was bad because it was poetic irony considering how she killed her classmates, it was just pathetic how the show killed her off. I seriously want to know what Liam Vickers was thinking here. To put all this buildup in her and then have it end so abruptly is just inexcusable. Doll deserved one final hurrah before biting the bullet and this is coming from someone who hated her.

Yeah she deserved better, good way to represent her idea tho

I hope that the death was a hologram but there’s 000.1% chance
I hope Yeva comes back and sacrifices her heart for doll but no I don’t think so 😢😢

I mean there are hearts in Alice's Room those could possibly used to revive her but if it requires a specific heart then Rip.

Doll was such a great character. My fav. Looking her in this state got me in tears. Like I don't understand why people don't understand her. She lost her parents in front of her eyes, Doll doesn't even have a good friend. They think Doll has no feelings like bro at the end Doll is trying to save Uzi she feels bad for her, She is broken after her parents death. And Also fact that Tessa tried to shoot her in ep 5 after Forehead after making a deal made her trust no one.
And I don't even think her intentions were to kill them in ep 6 she wanted to slow them down. And about her killing V, I don't think Doll wants revenge anymore I think she wants to save Uzi as well as she gave a sad look to Uzi before leaving. They could have given her a less painful death bro 😭😭
Her character is left incomplete bruh. She Doesnt know she killed V, She couldn't fulfil her promise to save Uzi. Rather she got her chest ripped and Core eaten. Really felt like Glitch/Liam said : F It this character is complex just end it.

Doll is definitely a deep character and the thing is while lizzy is a terrible person, she was still loyal to doll mostly until ep 3. She was indeed gonna help uzi and shes the only character she feels some sort of sympathy towards strengthening the connection between their mothers. I didnt mention that because it wasnt important to the topic of people saying her death wasted her because it was about how she is uzis foil

Doll Didn't really get a chance to trust anyone. 1st time she was close in trusting someone was Tessa In ep 5 but she tried to shoot her thus she didn't trust her. And she would have trusted Uzi but because of N and V she couldn't take risk of teaming with her parent's killers.
Bruh glitch should have at least made her fulfill her character like helping Uzi get patched, getting revenge on V (yea V died because of her but it wasn't intentional by Doll. Also she Doesn't even know she killed V). Which may made her feel Useless at her death which is so tragic.
Everyone said that she had no feelings killing Worker drone in starting of ep 3. No she Is smiling because that is bringing her more closer to kill the murderer of her parents.
(If only Lizzy handled Doll properly I feel like she wouldn't have died right now. Like bro Lizzy Ditched Doll Because V Is hotter Like WTF. And also making fun of her dead parents in ep 2 like Doll Fr Deserved better)

No yeah lizzys terrible lol. Also i feel obligated to bring up the fact that V probably isnt dead. I do think they couldve gave her a happy ending, but the way they decided to write her it made sense what they did, she couldve still gone along with tessa, even if dhe did try to shoot her that was to test if she actually had the solver. She was also very mysterious in not telling uzi what she was doing in episode 5. The thing is teaming with N and V is what saved Uzi multiple times, and what got doll killed in the end, i think thats the point of her character. Also yeah lizzys a terrible friend i love her so much shes hilarious

Doll is a character who constantly been betrayed by others. This is why she works alone. She did want to help others, but got backstabbed or got nothing every single time.
    - At the end of episode 2, she save her best friend from the Absolute Solver and potentially the rest of the class by blocking the door. She got no credit for it but it seems like she wasn't looking for it as well.
    - Episode 3, she schemed with Lizzy to make V the prom queen so she could get revenge. You can hear Lizzy saying it while Uzi is in the bathroom. Everything was going according to plan, but the moment Doll raised her hand Lizzy diched Doll in favor of V. Lizzy didn't hesitate to ruin her surpassingly long friendship with Doll for the one drone that Doll hates the most, simply because V is hotter. Lizzy is a b**ch, and just like Doll I would trust no one after such betrayal.
    - Right after Uzi steps in to save V, Doll gave her a chance to move aside and noted they both lost a mother for a murder drone. While Doll didn't imply Uzi should help her, she did care enough for Uzi and sympathized with her. Uzi made it clear she will not side with Doll, Doll has been betrayed again.
    - Doll survives and finds out Uzi also has the Solver. She offers her help if she finds a cure. She planned to do it alone, but didn't try to stop Uzi.
    - Episode 5, Doll tries to take the key from Uzi by force, but the entire time doesn't try to hurt Uzi. Uzi gives Doll the key, and Doll simply leaves.
    - Gave Tessa the key as they agreed off camera, got shot in return.
Her last message was "Fight back". From what I can tell, Doll always cared for others. She simply lost faith in others bit by bit the entire time. Her drive used to be her care for others, but betrayal after betrayal the drive became more selfish till she could only trust herself. What I think however, she actually cared for Uzi the entire time, even if just a little. Think about it: beside the murder drones, Uzi is the only other drone infected by the Solver which Cyn can control. Uzi is literally the only other worker drone who is in the same condition as Doll, how can she not care?
People were talking about closer with V and her drive for revenge. I disagree. Doll was not driven by revenge since the end of episode 3. When she went to take the elevator key from Uzi by force, N and V were sitting right in front of her defenseless. Doll could kill them both right then and there but decided to take the key and leave. If she wanted revenge, wouldn't she try to kill them? If she didn't care for Uzi, wouldn't she try to hurt her while fighting over the key? Uzi is in the way, hurting N and V would throw Uzi off, yet she put her solver to use just to grab the key. Doll doesn't need the closers people pointed out, because at the end Doll only cared for herself and for Uzi. No one is important enough for her to go out of her way to kill them anymore.

Thats really well said actually. Youre right she was betrayed. The thing is though, im not saying she never cared for others, its that her insistence to continuously do everything by herself instead of just talking to Uzi about it and them doing it together is what led to her death. She definitely is a tragic character. And this does explain why she was the way she was (still doesnt excuse her killing innocent worker drones for her petty revenge plan) but she also didnt really open up to anyone either, including lizzy, as we can see in episode 2 that lizzy doesnt know what the solver is
