Col. McGregor is no fan of Trump. He's off the Trump train.

We already know the answer to this. The same person that will be speaking before those puppets in Congress on Wednesday and getting a record number of standing ovations.

Congress must be compliant. This is a fact. I am not able to articulate what it is it that congress must comply with because I don't understand it.

The Military Industrial Complex will. Why even discuss this.

It's fun to discuss which swamp monsters Trump will pull out of his little bag of horrors.

He doesn't have a " bag of horrors." And "Swamp monsters"...May I recommend speaking in concise words that express a specific message? I kind of understand what you're getting at, but the hack phrases are a hindrance.

The only thing Trump, like Biden, will be allowed to pick is his nose, they are "told" who their cabinets will be, and on goes the clown show.

Trump is a bit of a challenge for the government which runs the government, and we can expect turmoil and upheavel in our lives, in the country, as the clash carries on.

Manufacturing in the US is currently foreign policy. Our plants, our brands are increasingly foreign owned, as Europe's one time dominance in quality products diminishes and slips to China and India. BRICS' expansion is both domestic and foreign policy. Don't discount Vance's solid vision and intellect. He was the first choice made by Trump that was thoughtful and wise. (IMO) He is fluent in contemporary technology, which puts him ahead of many congress members and the charming Kamala. While Trump's speeches are often as pleasant as nails on a chalkboard, he may have a partner now that complements his many weaknesses.

Tucker's transformation from neocon to something more reasonable seems credible because it was gradual. You could see the change through the years. He's even less anti-China than he used to be following his trip to Russia.
On the other hand, Vance's transformation could be less genuine and more politically expedient. Almost everything we know about Vance seems to be something that happened to him in the past 8 years.
Trump's pick for Sec. of State will be the big test. I agree with Levelle that Trump's RNC speech was disappointing. He started off well, but then returned to the old Trump.
Trump's first rally speech was also similarly disappointing. He's throwing away the public good-will gained from last week's assassination attempt and just returning to the old Trump. He said he wouldn't talk about the incident, but there he was, talking about it and making jokes and gloating.

The guy from Goldman-Sachs was the one who cried about having to live out of a hotel in the DC area for two weeks, while many of us spent a year at a time living out of stended stay merca for our work if we wanted to make our best money.

The second or current Peter is not bad. He has a wit for rehtoric which dashes like an effervescent oarnge electric flash in a socket every so often. But, he's more the dummy to Peter's boss than the old more virile Peter. Actually, the current one is better. More honest.
