WE CLEARED LAND! | Off Grid Living in Kentucky (1 acre costs how much??)

We cleared the land!! This is the flattest portion of our property and we are so excited to have a space for future projects and a garden. We hired a skid steer with a mulcher attachment to do the job. We have cleared a lot of land by hand but they got it done in a couple of hours!

Hi! I’m Allie. My husband and I, our son Roan and our three dogs live off the grid in the woods of Kentucky! We moved to this family land that hadn’t been touched in over 20 years. Englidh ivy becomes a problem, killing your best trees. At least kudzu is eaten by deer. Nothing kills ivy.

Do you prime your filters? I did some googling about it for ours and you do need to prime and scrub once a month, sometimes more often depending on your water

Yes we did prime and I’ve been scrubbing them. Not once a month I guess I’ll have to clean them more often. Guessing our water isn’t too clean 😅
