I tried it and LOVE the way my hair looks now! So much volume and what I always felt like my hair SHOULD look like. Beautiful. 😊 It took a long time but totally worth it.
I feel like we should call wash and goes 'natural wash and sets' because none of these ppl actually go after they wash. They put oil or lotion or gel or cremes. Its a wash and set because you wash your hair and set/style it and *then* go.
So true. In the summer i can wash and go because it’s so hot outside Literally throw gel and a leave in and go. In the summer i don’t have to do so much and I can let it air dry but other than that I don’t even use the term wash and go because it’s so many things that need to be done for my hair to look how I like it.
@@PrincessGabb I use the LCO method cause I have low porosity. For me oil goes on last and that is my sealant. With the LOC method , your oil goes on second cause you are sealing in your leave in (or liquid whichever you choose to use) and then placing a cream on top to give you extra moisture. People with high porosity lose moisture faster so that's the way they have to use it in order to keep moisture

I really wanted to try a wash and go style and this was a great beginner video for me
I couldn't have come across this at a better time. I just attempted a Wash N Go yesterday. It turned in to a Wash N Went. The shrinkage was unreal, and I really just felt ugly. My hair is a little past bra strap length, and to see my hair just shrunken up around my ears, just made me feel soooooooo discouraged. I usually wear my hair in twists/twist outs or flexirod sets, or I flat iron it, so I'm kinda used to SOMETHING touching at least the tops of my shoulders. But I'm gonna give this technique a go. I thought I would never return to the Wash N Go, but you have given me hope.

Thanks for the demo Safiya Bae. I really liked the definition you got before the process of elongating your curls with the blower. After blow-drying your curls, it lost quite a bit of its definition. You definitely achieved longer locks and lots of volume. After my own wash-n-go I definitely get shrinkage but, don't mind since during the week it elongates automatically after wearing it in a pineapple to sleep at night. I'm curious to know how long did your curls last after this wash-n-go video? Thanks again for the demo. Ms. ECstreet :)

It depends on your hair porosity level to be honest
It just depends on your hair, I have tried all the combo's and LOC works best on my hair.
