Thanks for the advice but I already stopped tuning my cars like this ever since I got better at rwd. Doing this was supposed to help me learn how to control it.
imo 750 hp is plenty but 900+ is just over kill. Im glad the tune works for you but I dont like that its an illegal setup. Hella unrealistic but no worries bro. I get that its just for the fun of it. Stay sideways my friends.

I don't know what they do, I just tweak whatever I need to by sense and it works. I've been drifting cars with 130-300hp Online and I've still been winning. I like using a lot of hp, regardless if it takes less skill or not. But when I'm bored, I'll just start drifting backwards.

You should set the rear suspension the harder as possible...
The rear wheels are suposed to kick on the ground so it can loose grip
Try to put more psi on the rear tires too...

See, you're using what works best for you. I have my tunes set up for points with long corners. My tunes are ice tunes which means they just slide and slide with little effort. I hate going fast when it comes to points. There are some guys out there on LB who can beat my R2 class cars with S class. But not on all tracks. Personally I like having a lot of hp. I only drift Low hp cars whenever I'm in a noobish lobby.
Look at the date of this video, I've changed my drifting habits but I still like to load my car with max hp.

How do you get the Bmw e34 m5? Because i don't see un the car list...
Well first of all more camber in the front than the back (only negative camber), I dont really change much on the toe but if I do It should be just a little bit out in the front, stiffer rebound than bump, stiffer springs (stiffer in the front than the back), not that low braking force. And you said you dont want the car to be R3 but with that much hp Id almost consider it as one
If the game gives me the option to use something towards my advantage, best believe I'm taking it. And thank you ;)
could u possibly help me out with rear wheel drifting? i dont know how to make the tunes for them and im not very good at holding drifts and throttle control and the constant tapping of the joystick

It kinda does. If you play a game for a while. You're bound to gain more skill. So my tuning setups have gotten a lot better from this. It's kinda sad how they disliked my comment...

To be honest dude, Whenever I engage a drift or exit one, is the only time I'd use max hp.
STM and TCS would make it difficult to drift. Those assists try to stop your car wheelspinning and losing traction on the road (while you're trying to push enough power to MAKE the wheels spin and drift) Turning it on would be shooting yourself in the foot. If you must have an assist, just ABS dude. (Correct me if I'm wrong anyone as it feels like I'm describing TCS here)

I used to have 28,ooo,ooo credits, and all the cars plus finished all the lvl challenges, but now I can't play FM4 anymore because my PS3 broke :(
The guys who think this tune is good is the guys who have never had a tune before. I never said that drifting is all about tandeming, it doesnt matter if its a tandem car or a points car, that tune is still bad. It may work for u now but once u dicover how to really tune a car youre gonna thing thats so much better. And you say you prefer to go slow, the why tha F do you have 942 freaking hp
Wen i started drifting I had that much hp too but then it just gets too easy to be able to f*ck up but still be able to pull out of every single corner.
I use everything off, butt the suggested line. So....
Negative camber=Try hards Positive Camber= People who don't care about the way others tune their cars, as long as there having fun that's all that matters.

Who cares if the person posting videos doesn't know what he's doing. If it works for him and 119 others who liked the video, he must be doing a good job. I'm a points drifter, this is a points tune. Drifting isn't all about tandeming you know or trying to go fast. I'd prefer going slow, keep an angle larger than most tandmers can do.

Why not have that much? If it works for me, and others, I'm pretty sure I know what I'm doing. Just because you can't adapt to it doesn't mean a thing. Not everyone is going to tune the way you want them to.

Let's see here, This is the wrong video to post about D1 Knowing that this is a points tune, Did I say I was doing a D1 tune? No. Their is no wrong or right way to tune a car as long as it works for yourself. I max out my hp and make my car as light as possible because I have the skill enough to control it. And 650hp is the max for d1 Competitions.
