Sweet! Love giant scale RC. My buddy and I built a 125" inch old school dragster 2 years ago. We stopped the project due to not havin a place to run it. I'll see if I can post up a link to it. Keep it up man...!!!
Yo Brother, looks like all the work you put in it, was worth it! Very cool!!.. I found out, when I'm doing some kind of build, the most fun and gratitude is when you design an area or a part to your rig,and you have to change something ,and it come out more than twice better than the original part you fabricated, that you can really see the improvement, is great build fun!. With a rig that size, you can really have fun with all different ideas and satisfy some personal time!! Great job!..
Awesome rooster's man It seems to do them with ease . As far as sthe wind in the mic. I had the same issue with wind i took the foam off a head set ear piece put it on my camera mic ... no more wind sounds even in 60 mph winds very hard to tell the foam got rid of that annoying 'tyvek blowing in the wind sound '
great build ... I want to do one I got a 99 Chevy power wheels body and a 1986 Yamaha zinger 60 quad for the rest it fits perfect on it but tell me what you did for , steering , throttle ,brake servos. and what RC controller should I use . any info helps . thanks for the Insanity....
That is cool, i want one.....judging by the laughter when the motor stops 36 seconds in, both the driver and the camera guy know, that BEAST has WAY TOO MUCH POWER for those pissy tyres. It's revving it's guts out spinning the inside left (outside left to our Yankee cousins), and wasting all that power. You need some real chunky rubber for it, but it look's like way more fun the way it is.
You sir are a true artist. As far as surface rc go's your at the top of the food chain. Your have created a masterpiece I could only dream of. Thanks for sharing your life with us all.
I would love to get more info about this truck scale size, where to get one, how much you spent, how long it took, did i mention where to get one, Not sure if you answered those questions didn't see that comment.
@superyo4444 yes it is a fully functional steering wheel and pedals for the truck. or any thing i want to run from that remote. problem is, its bulky. so i use it at home for driving the truck around the house. its set up with a wireless cam, so i can drive it while sitting in front of my tv.
All the quads I have ever owned, worked on, or ridden, had a solid rear axle. This one doesn't, so I'm not sure if he did that to it, or where he got the rear axle. And it has an OHV engine in it, not an ATV engine. And if the carb is above the fuel tank, it won't get enough fuel to keep it running, you need some kind of fuel pump to keep the carb fed. Good video, and would like to see it after you get it tuned.
See, if I had buddies like you, I could get all kinds of cool shit built. I have ideas but don't know anyone that's handy INCLUDING some very cool business ideas that involves RC control but again, no one that I know that can do it. Awesome work!
just curious what your using to steer it ? it does better then i thought it would with that engine, you should take the engine and electronics from a chinese 110cc then you would have remote start and more power
thats bad ass dude ,I have a new pocket bike motor lying around n I like doing rc builds mostly 1/10 electric,I think I just found this year's winter project,thanks.....
have you given any thought to the clutch setup? If this had say a 6000rpm centirfugal clutch instead of the 1000/2000 rpm clutch in now (guessing here), then it would be a helluva lot more fun :)
Now that's a biggun!! Have you thought about re-grooving the tires? I would offer as it was part of my job many years ago, but think I'm approx 4000 miles away. ;¬)
I have never seen such a large RC before. Is it 1/6th? I thought it 'sounded' big but with nothing to judge it by wondered what kind of engine it could be. This is absolutely my first view of something so outrageous, thanks so much for the upload. I AM HOOKED NOW! Take care. mrbluenun
@wordreet i dont know if it would really pay to regroove the tires. its not like its a 4x4. it does get good traction when both wheels are locked. and yeah, i think it would be a long walk to get over to your location. lol
thats a good question. all together including my mistakes, about 2 grand. but now i know what will work, and what wont work. i could build one for about a grand.
@ djnemesis82pluss1877 im using a linear actuator for the steering. theres a trick to that though. im using multiple linkage arms to increase speed and torque. the engine may not be electric start, but its 196cc. just a little more then 110cc.
but how much does your baja 5b weigh? this thing goes a little over a 100lbs. plus the size of the wheels and tiers. and yeah, i wouldnt mind installing a larger motor, but i need the torque to get it rolling.
@jufeds i put the pull start recoil back on it. i had an electric motor used to start it, but the engine blew it out. overspun the bearings. the pull start recoil works fine for now.
Screw what anyone else says this is a awesome vid! Glad you built it and shared! For those that are hating lets see what you build then come complain. Again awesome video and cuddos for the build. Makes me wanna get into R/Cs again :-)
thanks. with the gearing that im running, top speed is 36mph. keep in mind though it weighs about 300lbs. and i used a 196cc engine. i cant fit any thing bigger in it.
@nobbyblair its all home made my friend. the frame, shocks, control arms, its all home made. its the size of a small 4 wheeler. but nothing on it is from a 4 wheeler.
what scale would you say that is and what are the measurements...length height and width .i am going to build a truck like that for my wife and need a place to start ...thanks
@RichieD088 thanks bud! and yeah i know exactly what you mean. i have made so many changes to this thing over time. its all worth it. im looking forward to my next couple of builds.

Dude ,,That thing is a friggin Beast !!!
So cool ! Totally awesome .
it doesnt look that big til you are standing beside it .
0:40 The guy got smaller and smaller as soon as he walked to his rc truck. lol
Yea!
he fits in it
terd
That tends to happen when you create distance between a camera.

Ha!

Badass!!!!!!!! Good job keep up the good work!!! Love the RC hobby!!
Awesome rooster's man

Holy shit. Good thing you're treading lightly w/the turf tamers.
Needs a Conley Stinger 609 V8!!! And some V-tread Tires.
Yes DEFINATELY a Conley Stinger is what’s needed!!!
That is cool, i want one.....judging by the laughter when the motor stops 36 seconds in, both the driver and the camera guy know, that BEAST has WAY TOO MUCH POWER for those pissy tyres. Awesome sit on it and drive to walmart
You sir are a true artist. As far as surface rc go's your at the top of the food chain. Your have created a masterpiece I could only dream of. Thanks for sharing your life with us all.
That thing is BADASS!!! I wonder if the extension hose for the air intake has anything to do with it stalling at low idle.
I would love to get more info about this truck scale size, where to get one, how much you spent, how long it took, did i mention where to get one, Not sure if you answered those questions didn't see that comment.
so cool...i want one, DON'T KNOW WHERE I'D RUN IT! Hats off to you, great home project, JUST SO VERY COOL!
@superyo4444

Awesome craftsmanship! But...would be nearly the same if you rc a GO KART. Scale factor is nicer with smaller scales IMO.
I seen the video about a year ago, I still come back to see it again, lol freakin awesome!
All the quads I have ever owned, worked on, or ridden, had a solid rear axle. This one doesn't, so I'm not sure if he did that to it, or where he got the rear axle. And it has an OHV engine in it, not an ATV engine.

+RakinBill the truck isn't a quad at all. not a single quad part in this build. and I do have other videos of this truck all completed.

what is your name
awsome dude....i am very impressed....how did u build the body....great work
That thing is awesome but I gotta say, if I had a RC car that big, my as would be riding it!
See, if I had buddies like you, I could get all kinds of cool shit built. I have ideas but don't know anyone that's handy INCLUDING some very cool business ideas that involves RC control but again, no one that I know that can do it. Awesome work!

nice truck, what type/size motor is it?
Holy shit. That thing's so big, a kid could fit in and ride it! LOL!
Lol I loved the Evil laugh!!! Made me chuckle
Need a big chainsaw engine on there. Lol.
Sweet rc man. Im curious what motor is that, snd if u swapped centrifical clutch for torque converter would it do wheelies?
*helpful tip* put some comfy bedding in the tray and use it to put the baby to sleep while your having fun driving it around.
Your welcome ;-)
acerimmeh too loud
acerimmeh ن
That RC has more HP than my Go-Cart my buds and I drive many miles when younger.
thats a big nasty truck man lol wanna see a vid of u bashing and jumping it now lol thanks man awesome video.
thats bad ass dude ,I have a new pocket bike motor lying around n I like doing rc builds mostly 1/10 electric,I think I just found this year's winter project,thanks.....
I hope all goes well with your build. I love seeing new ideas and builds.
LOL. Awesome build man. I like your video game controller too haha!
man, that is BIG! great project, looks awesome
Is the steering wheel and pedals in the trailer for the car? Probably right?
You Rock Dude
where did you get the steering servo for that? Awesome truck.
that is one sweet rig, just wish the camera wasn't ridiculously shaky.
Thats an awesome model dude! Love it! Just seems like it needs more weight on the front axle, to help it steer? It pushes pretty hard! Great video! 👍
WOW! Wasn't expecting it to that BIG!!! Nice man.....
awsome rig man, well done! what is the top speed? and motor cc?
have you given any thought to the clutch setup? If this had say a 6000rpm centirfugal clutch instead of the 1000/2000 rpm clutch in now (guessing here), then it would be a helluva lot more fun :)
slap a 200 blaster 2 stroke on it they are pretty cheap to find and pull wheelies with it! cool rc post your next version.👍
props that truck is awesome
Dear santa can u build me one of those lol great wirk look forward to your next upload chap
Man can take it.Looks very cool.
Now that's a biggun!! Have you thought about re-grooving the tires? I would offer as it was part of my job many years ago, but think I'm approx 4000 miles away. ;¬)

I AM HOOKED NOW!
Take care.
mrbluenun
The maniacal laugh at :16 was a nice touch.
Wow that thing is a beast... nice! Really likes to throw the gravel. :-D
@chrisdo911 im guessing it travels at 40+MPH. I do have different size sprockets.. so im sure it can travel even faster then what im predicting.
I treated myself to a 2 minute test run sarks... Let's just say I'm sooo ready for ya!!!
@wordreet
i dont know if it would really pay to regroove the tires. its not like its a 4x4. it does get good traction when both wheels are locked. and yeah, i think it would be a long walk to get over to your location. lol
That is a beast. wow mental.
oh i see you built one. oh and you made it perfect right from the start. guess i should have came to you for advice on my drive axel problem huh?
awesome!!!!!!!!! i love big rc cars, though my fav of mine is my mini revo
@Denus01 you do realize that the frame is not from a quad right? everything is home made. right down to the shocks.
thats a good question. all together including my mistakes, about 2 grand. but now i know what will work, and what wont work. i could build one for about a grand.
Id drive my kids a school on this!! what a beast
Peace of foam in front of the microphone helps a lot!
Pretty damn cool... sounds like my lawnmower. ;)
Mother of all RCs.
Love the PS2 wheel as the controller!
LOL@your friend's comment... now you need another one that's a wrecker. Cool truck.
that truck big as shit!...i like it
1 wheel drive? couldn't put a locking differential on the thing? how much would a locking diff cost on something that small ?
@ djnemesis82pluss1877
im using a linear actuator for the steering. theres a trick to that though. im using multiple linkage arms to increase speed and torque. the engine may not be electric start, but its 196cc. just a little more then 110cc.
Damn, that's awesome! Do you still have it? I'd love to build something like this.
something up with the rear diff? LR is spinning quite a bit...nice though
but how much does your baja 5b weigh? this thing goes a little over a 100lbs. plus the size of the wheels and tiers. and yeah, i wouldnt mind installing a larger motor, but i need the torque to get it rolling.
Where do you live at and how much would you charge to build one of those
A tanks sometimes uses 1 wheel drive. That how good turns are made. Does a tank have a differential?
@jufeds
i put the pull start recoil back on it. i had an electric motor used to start it, but the engine blew it out. overspun the bearings. the pull start recoil works fine for now.
only thing that would make this truck better would be 4WD, this is an rc monster truck win.
What a BEAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reminds me of my riding lawn mower with one wheel drive
Haha that thing is awesome man top work.
how much did this project cost you and how long did it take?
you need a restricteble differential for the rear dude! that would be funny! :D
Wow! this is very nice and big so I like this ^^Good
So badass! Thx for posting!!!
the sound is so cool, great 👍 👍
Great effort mate, if only i had the time!
What size motor?
Screw what anyone else says this is a awesome vid! Glad you built it and shared! For those that are hating lets see what you build then come complain. Again awesome video and cuddos for the build. Makes me wanna get into R/Cs again :-)
thanks. with the gearing that im running, top speed is 36mph. keep in mind though it weighs about 300lbs. and i used a 196cc engine. i cant fit any thing bigger in it.
Hey i plan on builing my own rc, how did u make the body for it?
@nobbyblair
its all home made my friend. the frame, shocks, control arms, its all home made. its the size of a small 4 wheeler. but nothing on it is from a 4 wheeler.
nice truck what cc engin is in it
what scale would you say that is and what are the measurements...length height and width .i am going to build a truck like that for my wife and need a place to start ...thanks
Very cool I want one
all together with parts and materials, probable about a grand.
Kinna sure ks how it can't stay straight in them rocks cus it's so heavy but sweet man
nice rc truck bro!
that is one big ass Rc truck. would luv to have it.liken that its a chevy too..nice
were dud u get it??
BIIIIG monstertruck!!!
Yeah that's pretty amazing man!
I'm almost more interested in the transmitter setup..
It's a bit too loud for my liking, but man that thing is awesome!
WoW! A new quadbike! lol
@RichieD088
thanks bud! and yeah i know exactly what you mean. i have made so many changes to this thing over time. its all worth it. im looking forward to my next couple of builds.
