I'm going to debate you on something Michael's energy never died. This concert was supposed to be the launch of Michael's new album and his final tour at that time which was supposed to be the invincible tour. But a very big tragedy happened in his home country and a very public dispute about his exit strategy from Sony spilled out too. You asked the story of this concert, ok literally not even 3 days he appeared at vmas music awards and made a surprise improv dance that was less than a minute but it turned the whole 2001 mtv video music awards into insane chatter that Michael came from nowhere. Then, like I said in the beginning this show was planned so was Britney who was woth Justin who was working alot with Michael that summer and fall so she was put into the show too. I'm not joking this concert was sold out tribute show of all kinda of performing just for his songs and a few others. And he reunited with his brothers. Michael's power never died I'm from New York people were taking out second mortgages to go to this concert. I had a front row ticket to Michael's final concerts front row tickets cost 2,600 pounds in London.

you cant go wrong with michael jackson or britney spears. all time classics! and at that time everyone was in love with britney I believe, I mean look at her .... ^__^ I bet it was during her 2nd album where she was at the peak of the world. though I have to say their vocals dont fit too good together, as he cant hold back his powerful voice, and she had more a softer whispery voice like billie nowadays. but yea those were great music history moments.

I'm going to debate you on something Michael's energy never died. This concert was supposed to be the launch of Michael's new album and his final tour at that time which was supposed to be the invincible tour.
But a very big tragedy happened in his home country and a very public dispute about his exit strategy from Sony spilled out too.
You asked the story of this concert, ok literally not even 3 days he appeared at vmas music awards and made a surprise improv dance that was less than a minute but it turned the whole 2001 mtv video music awards into insane chatter that Michael came from nowhere.
Then, like I said in the beginning this show was planned so was Britney who was woth Justin who was working alot with Michael that summer and fall so she was put into the show too.
I'm not joking this concert was sold out tribute show of all kinda of performing just for his songs and a few others. And he reunited with his brothers.
Michael's power never died I'm from New York people were taking out second mortgages to go to this concert. I had a front row ticket to Michael's final concerts front row tickets cost 2,600 pounds in London.

( Guns and roses, MJ, Queen, were some who knew how to make the best performeces and interact with its public. Rest of 90s and after are knockoffs and never hit same level of experience (besides some nowadays music festivals who learned to entertain public as well in the right way )
