Hello sir, thanks for your video. I've got it working now. An reolink camera on the Dahua NVR. But i still have an issue. The camare is not letting me change or save the settings for snapshots. Is there any setting specific I should change on the NVR or the camare to be able to take snapshots with the camera. With the dahua camera's it is working fine. But for the reolink it is not possible to change the settings when connected. Could you give some advise?
Hi! Well it is thrue the third party camera can work via ONVIF with Dahua NVR, HOWEVER you must state that this will work ONLY when the camera and the NVR are in the same network. Unfortunatly, a third party camera can not work with Dahua NVR using an ONVIF protocol while the camera and the NVR are in different networks. For exmaple tehre is a remote camera behind a router and a NVR behind another router. In this case the ONVIF can not get through the cam router. So, please can you explain how to conect a third party camera using ONVIF with Dahua NVR? Thanks.

@@dahuatechnologyireland2825 NO we have not also we need to know what programs we need to get the Dahua NVR to recognize the reolink camera he kinda understands how to hook it all up to a power switch so everything can communicate but he thinks he needs to be online to do this ....i will let him know about the link you sent us.

Got it to work but no audio? Tried aac and different ones but doesn't seem to work?

I tried everything with a Hamrol camera and it just doesn’t work. I can see it with VLC and the dedicated app but not with my XVR.
How can i connect vivotek camera with dahua nvr please explain me.
In vivotek camera you need to go to user accounts and enable anonymous viewing.

What's the make of the camera? Is it ONVIF?
