Its lovely to see it being read by you as I feel it has (so far) flown under people's radars on booktube even though I know its on a lot of people's tbrs! One of my favourite things about the series is how well Leckie does at exploring the idea personhood being unrelated to being "human". Breq's developing sense of self and sentience is truly an amazing and unique journey over the 3 books!
I love how nonchalant you were about your shirt being on inside out! 🤣I was sitting in an office with a coworker for like THREE HOURS before she said, "You know your shirt is on inside out, right?" Like.... NO! If I knew that, it wouldn't be on inside out anymore! But my faux pas was worse because it was on inside out AND backwards so the tag had been under my dang chin the entire morning.
I hated the Ancillary books lol. Had to read them for a book club. We just started reading Book 3 when Covid lockdowns first struck (March 2020?) and the book club went into a hiatus and I was like thank God I can DNF this sucker 😅😅😅
