It's so crazy how Kate and Joey somehow know their clients and what they want better than they do! I know there's more planning and discussion behind the scenes, but they take such general ideas and preferences and create something perfectly tailored to that person with aspects they didn't even realize they'd love! That's what really sets them apart in my opinion even beyond their mad designing and building skills

I absolutely LOVE her room but it looks more minimalistic than the room memo: retro + pastel + neon + palm springs etc. Perhaps, Alisha requested a more sophisticated, minimalistic look and that wasn't verbally stated in the video. I was envisioning a room with tons of colours, for some reason. This room, however, is totally ME 😉
