I didn't meet my dad's parents. My mum's dad died when I was 7, and her mum when I was 15. My next-door neighbour is the closest I get to having a grandparent. She's 94 years old, and I cherish her and try to care for her in every possible way she'll allow me. Seeing Charles makes me really happy.
Late to the party but tbh i haven't cried in idk how many years.. but hearing him choke up like that hit me harder than Mike Tyson in his prime. Just started with a full on ugly cry 😂
Wow Charles you just destroyed me! I'm positive you're getting many people through hard times just from listening to you, you're a wonderful, kind, bighearted person and that comes through every time we check in to the podcast. Love you so much, keep being you ❤
Charles, you, Sir, are an incredible human being. I'm in tears not because of your tears but because of how humble of a man you are. I just found this channel today and am having a hard day missing my Daddy, and you have brought me joy and reminded me of all the reasons i loved my Dad so much. Link is a lucky man because i believe we are only as strong as the shoulders we stand on, and he has a hell of a set coming from you. Love your relationship with each other. ❤
I love how Charles shared his religious beliefs in such a sweet way. He’s not trying to convince anyone else or change anyone’s mind, he’s just sharing what he believes. Such a sweet guy!
Charles' wilingness to entertain folk with his struggling pronunciations is one more reason we love him. He is a breath of fresh air in the online world were authenticity and genuine self confidence is rare. Being able to laugh at yourself is a super power. Thanks Link for sharing your dad with us. Dispatches from Myrtle Beach is brilliant.
Mr. Charles, I just want to hug you. God bless your soul. You really don't know how much you touch us all and keep me going. Prayers lifted up for Andrew and Linda.
I'm crying hearing the mail so I can't even begin to imagine how this feels for Charles. Must be overwhelming. Link has experienced this so many times, the fan that thanks you for saving their life or cheering them up, but it must be great to experience this with and sort of through his dad. Wow. Thanks for sharing and opening up, Charles.
I never thought about how important this podcast was to my late night/early morning routine helps me calm down I cried a bit made me think about of friend of mine, that passed that had some health issues but never complained about anything just got on with it thank you for that from the bottom of my heart much love.
❤❤❤ I hope he knows he’s a good father. A good one is better than a great one, and that he is. The morals and the love that he’s taught and shown are evident.
it’s so sweet how link must be so used to this but seeing charles experience it for the first time must be such a reminder of how beautiful this stuff is
I hope you read your youtube comments Charles ❤❤ We love you and are so thankful we get to share you with Link ❤❤ You're something special and for me personally you give me a little bit of my Papa back. He was just as funny and huge hearted as you. ❤❤❤
Hello from one of your fans from Stavanger,Norway! I got super emotional watching this video, listening to you guys and watching you guys getting emotional and being so super caring and genuine gets me! I have been a GMM fan since 2014 and I have gotten alot of merch and proudly wore them around in the streets of Stavanger to get people to discover you! You are an importance in my life and I got through and still going through alot of traumas and it always helps me to know that I can just watch GMM and this podcast and know that I am in for a good time and not worry so much.. Thank you Link and thank you Charles for being yourself and letting us be a part of your daily routines and lets keep up the good work that you all are doing, know that you are so loved and cared for from all around the world! lots of love and hugs! take care
It's one of the most bitter sweet feelings in the world. It's a feeling I have dreamt for years. The feeling of changing/ helping someone's life. I'm glad that you two do what you do!
Charles is a wonderful human being with his heart in the right place. Him getting touched by that email shows how much this podcast meant for both him and Andrew. And for Steven I would recommend him to maybe join different clubs of his interest where he can meet new people that share the same interests as him and use that as an icebreaker and get a conversation started.
Listened to this episode this morning while on the train in to work, and almost got as emotional as Charles, so came here to comment and say, he gives me genuine hope for humanity. Keep up the good work
I was just pondering my home health and CNA days, and assisted my papa through the last years of his life; I appreciate your hard work, love and care. Caregivers are truly angels.
aw man, my heart 💙💙 yall are just such kind people and i know so many of us in the comments feel as grateful for yalls dispatches every week as andrew 💙 sending love to all of us americans as well struggling with the election
Man, Charles is such a good man and he's raised a good man. You guys are lucky to have each other and the relationship you two have is so wonderful to see. And Link is a good dad because you're a good dad, Charles. Take care you two ❤
You fellas have somethin really special going on here. I love this show. The genuine interactions and how you both connect over the different segments and the silly jokes. It’s just a bright light in a sometimes not so bright world. Love y’all
I love these two, Charles had me bawling haha. Ain't nothing more emotional than a man letting his guard down and being emotional for someone else or himself. What a sweet man. I always loved Link but seeing what a good Daddy he has shows me just why he is such a good man.
Hi from Trinidad 🇹🇹 lol I love to put my flag up because I'm so proud and I just want you to know you have a fan here and I love your podcast ! You gentlemen are funny, uplifting, inspiring and you help me to relax and forget my worries. I feel so lucky to find y'all, I'm gonna tell my friends about y'all for sure. Thank you and God bless you both❤❤❤
What a beautiful man you are Charles what you said was straight from the heart and we all felt it. I’m new to this show, but I’ve been watching Rhett and Link for a long time. And now I’m going to be catching up on dispatches from Myrtle Beach because of you and your big heart, thank you
Charles pronouncing the Harry Potter names and just saying them faster was literally just like the family feud episode when the lady is like “Mah-MEE” just emphasizing it differently and saying the same word over and over😭😭😭😭😭😭 so funny
I think its amazing you guys can let yourselves be emotional, especially together as father and son. You guys brighten my day atleast once a week. Keep up the great work
Lots of tears today. This was the bright spot I needed after feeling so depressed and hopeless the past few days. I am truly grateful for this precious little niche. 💕
35:28 omfg as a trans woman whos watched for as long as you and rhett have made videos, just gotta say, i love you so much for this moment right here Link!!! 😂😂❤
@calebbb95 he's saying it's very ironic for Charles to say "she, he, whatever" because J.K. Rowling is a transphobe who especially hates trans women, she's a terf, calls herself a feminist but excludes trans women, as well as saying its a bad thing that she is that way
@@calebbb95Charles asked who in Hollywood would think up the name Hermione Granger. Link replied that we won't talk about her. In which Charles replies "or him". Not knowing the transphobia the creator of the Harry potter suffers from. @calebbb95

Link!! Always start at the end of the word when teaching him a new one, like cover up the letters at the start of rhe word, it helps build the word and sounds backwards and makes a world of difference 👏🏼 I love Charles!
What a sweet moment! I absolutely love Charles and Link! You guys are seriously the bright spot in my day and keep me smiling and feeling happy! Dispatches for Myrtle Beach has become a regular part of my routine right along with GMM, Ear Biscuits, and all things Mythical! I never miss an episode!
I read the comments and everyone said they got emotional watching Charles get emotional and I thought everyone was just being softies, but man my eyes were waterfalls the entire time
It is very emotional to have a platform and be told you're helping someone in some way. I did open mic stand up once upon a time and a lady had walked up to me afterwards and said she had been having a rough day and how i made her day better with my set. It just goes to show, bo matter who you are or where you're at in life, your words can brighten someone's day.
Why does seeing your parents cry hit so hard 😭😭😭 I feel like Charles is our collective second granddaddy
Wouldn’t that mean link is daddy? 😐
@ I mean…you said it 😈
I didn't meet my dad's parents. My mum's dad died when I was 7, and her mum when I was 15. My next-door neighbour is the closest I get to having a grandparent. She's 94 years old, and I cherish her and try to care for her in every possible way she'll allow me. Seeing Charles makes me really happy.
Third? Most people have or had 2 grandparents
This is a good man. I'm sitting in Myrtle Beach right now eating breakfast before work. Charles gives me hope in humanity.
Same here! Greetings neighbor

I wasn’t planning on crying today, but here we are 😭🖤 Hearing Charles read that e-mail… It was a touching and beautiful moment 🖤
Oh, good - it wasn't just me crying!

Charles saying “Severnus Snop” like ten times was the levity I needed today❤
Charles you got us all in tears in the comments.❤
I cried so hard when Charles cried. Then I laughed so hard when he was trying to pronounce Snape
Me too 🤣😭❤ i love Charles
You know what I didn't need? To cry while doing my eye makeup! Love the love you're spreading!
The same exact thing happened to me 😢💓
"we're not gonna talk about her" lmaooo

We must protect Charles at all costs ❤Such a genuine person and sir, your light shines through!
We love you Charles. You raised a fine man and your ability to show compassion is a gift that came from above and within. Stay blessed Myrtle Beasts.

I would pay an absurd number of real American dollars to hear Charles record an audiobook of the Sorcerer's Stone
