Aw man I grew up with Jack, he is the first English speaking TH-camr I would watch and I always felt that he was really relatable and had a cool perspective on life and being kind and understanding to others. I myself am in the process of getting diagnosed, and so hearing Jack talking about his experience I can see myself in him more than ever. From his reaction to getting diagnosed to his life experiences, how he views the world to how he handles social interactions, it all matches up so well so many years after discovering him. Much love, Jack is the best content creator out there for me hands down.
I’ve been a silent watcher and I finally want to say, I love the podcast and every episode brings me a smile to my face, you guys are doing incredible work!!
Now Pewdiepie is the only one missing in this OG TH-cam trio. I know you guys going to Japan maybe you could get Pewdiepie on the pod when you are there? I mean Sean is friends with him he could probably help set it up. Just a thought because it would be awesome.

I 100% think I’m on the autism spectrum, though I’ve never been diagnosed. When I was around 15 I asked my doctor if she could diagnose me. I remember she said something along the lines of “does it really matter?” I had an extremely traumatizing experience throughout my entire school life, I’ve been bullied for my intelligence, I’ve failed constantly, despite the fact that I’ve tried constantly. And my last 2 years of high school and the start of my college life was during the pandemic, which did not help. I admittedly haven’t gone to school in a while because of my bad experiences. I think it would’ve definitely helped to know that I was on the spectrum.
I am studying on my own for the past 3 years cause after covid or before my iq was terrible to compete with others or concentrate on it. Jelling with people was so hard that i agree with you in getting bullied for being myself but i just wanted to say this ( Don't hate yourself ) keep on going man. I don't know who you are but let's just do it till the end even if it's bad. A unknown homie hug 🫂.
I don't have autism but I would suggest that you should try again to get diagnosed.. I believe now of days it won't be like what you experienced.. an if it happens again go to another doctor in that field to get diagnosed.. there is so much more knowledge about being on the spectrum now.. so I do hope you try to again..
I honestly disagree with one of the people who responded to you. If you have health problems, when you go to the doctor and they see you have autism, you can experience discrimination from that, and not be believed about symptoms and stuff. So it might be better to get ‘unofficially’ diagnosed instead if health issues run in your family
22:24 The thing about having both autism and ADHD but not being able to say it out loud or get it tested because of your surroundings can be troublesome. It's like having them is both good and bad in a balanced way but just Because of that, I won't hate myself for it; instead, I love being myself. Having autism and ADHD feels like having a good friend you can rely on for years. Even tho i got bullied or studying at home schooling made me understand myself so much.( But so many people are using it as a weapon or a trending tag to jell with people so it's troubling for people who really have it so please test it out before assuming it on yourself or use it as a communication method. )
Thank you for this episode. It came at just the right time for me, as I'm questioning whether I'm autistic and thinking about getting diagnosed. I got diagnosed with ADHD a few years ago as well. I've been a fan of Jack's for many years, and seeing him be on this podcast with Rae, my favorite streamer, is really special. Also, I love the neurodivergent vibes of this episode!!
The struggle of being diagnosed ADHD and the medicine not working is so painfully relatable 😭 I really need to seek an official autism diagnosis because I've had two therapists say it to me now.
The parallels between Rae, Jack and Mark with growing up in a small town, having an older dad, and not being close to their siblings. We have the recipe to success now lol!!!!😂🥲🙌
Hearing Jack and Lisa talk about autism I relate so fucking much! Life is so exhausting constantly trying to act normal and say the right things. Calling it a performance is so real I don’t feel comfortable I don’t feel myself and any slip up where a bit of me comes out has me beating myself up because I know others notice too. It really sucks feeling like a freak despite trying so hard to be like everyone else. Having to work a normal job and interact with people every day is so incredibly draining. Despite how much it sucks seeing how open Lisa is about her autism is so inspiring!
I’ve watched jacksepticeye throughout my teenage years and I’ve been watching Rae stream since my young adulthood so I’ve loved seeing my worlds collide with their collabs in the past! This podcast episode is just so surreal to me. Proud of Jack to see how much Thankmas has evolved over the years to this big charity stream, i always look forward to it!!🐐🗣️
I really do agree with what Jack said I feel like you guys really do talk honestly in this podcast idk the conversations in these episodes just feels more relaxed and natural for some reason
Glad you guys chatted a bit about Gab, she's awesome! I first found her because she streamed a loooong time ago with the actress who played Quiet in Metal Gear (they are old friends, both from the Netherlands). This was back when Gab was in Japan doing streaming and Japanese translations for video games. It was insane to see her and Sean start dating years later, because I followed her on Twitch, and had followed Sean since back in his Oculus Rift DK days, lol. To see them together was CRAZY, but also really awesome :) Gab has seemed so happy since they got together!
i clicked on this expecting to laugh out loud, ten minutes in and im crying because I can relate so much to the autism and high masking I've never heard it explained so clearly and honestly from people with experience especially on a platform like this, so thank you
I think Rae and Lisa are such good hosts, with the activities they put together for jack and mark to get them talking about things they’ve accomplished is so fun!!
This podcast is like my friend group but also it’s so so awesome to see more representation of neurodivergent folks, ASD, AuDHD folks speaking their experience and just bringing more awareness to mental health, autism, and invisible disabilities honestly, which is such a huge improvement.
Boy, you two have brought JackSepticEye as your second guest of your PressESC podcast show, that's truly way past cool of you Valkyrae and Alythuh, glad that he arrived and talked in this newest episode and i am indeed super proud that he (just like Markiplier) is OG TH-camr and as a Sonic fan, i am really proud that he is part of voice cast of Sonic Prime, also as an autist and ADHD myself, i am indeed super proud that he is speaking of those two topics and his advices in regards of compassion towards people with autism and ADHD, in adition of him dedicating ThankMas charity event about people with autism and ADHD witch i am super glad that he did, this episode is truly a spot on great (PS, i hope that you two will bring Bella Poarch as your third guest) 😍🤩💖💓☺️🤗😇🥰💗💝🥲🙂🧩🎮🕹️👾🧿🎙️🎛️🎚️🎧☀️🌼🌻
I'm so glad to see that you invited Jack, I got to find your podcast and I got to see a more real side of Jack than ever before. And all of it being personally relatable is just the cherry on top.
Wanting structure and recognizing it's a healthy habit to build and immediately becoming bored with any routine started is a problem I've had my entire life and I've never heard anyone encountering it like that. It really feels like I'm constantly at odds with myself and like I'm doing something wrong
When he started mentioning how he surveys everything when he enters a room, how he plans every conversation, how hes worried about how people think or feel about him after he leaves, I started balling. Ive never been diagnosed with anything similar, but ive never had anyone describe how I feel every day. I dont know how to feel, but I think this might be a good first step.
as an autistic person who it took 8 years to get diagnosed i really relate to Sean and he was and is such a comfort to me! i masked for 16 years and it was so exhausting! but when i found Sean i felt so much more comfortable in my own body. i'm not even being dramatic when i say that i would not be here today if it wasn't for Sean. i genuinely owe him my life.
Loved this episode!!! Always happy to see Seán. I love the deep dive into audhd, adhd, and autism. It's such a large spectrum and highly stigmatized that it's always a nice to hear people speak positively and openly about these topics!
Love the metal chat! Tool is my favorite band, and Sleep Token is amazing, too! And I'm a drummer, so this is an epic episode. I'd love to hear more music talk in streamer podcasts like this.
As someone who was diagnosed with Autism last year, I feel so seen with the whole discussion on it. That you Rae, Lisa and Sean for discussing this, it means so much to so many people.
I'm so happy to hear Sean talk about his diagnoses. For me, AuDHD feels like two people battling for control inside of me. One insists on having structure while the other wants novelty. Ultimately you feel paralyzed and nothing gets done.
another AMAZING episode!! Sean is such a fantastic person. As someone who was also late diagnosed with autism, this episode was my favorite so far and just hearing y'all talk about it made me feel validated. Keep up the fantastic work Rae and Lisa! You are both killing it.
another great episode! and jack is so right. this podcast is such a breath of fresh air in this community, i love how open you guys are with various topics
This is such an important conversation to have. I am late confirmed ADHD and school definitely didn't make sense, but now I am myself a teacher and I can see neurodivergent behaviours or what might be, dyslexia became a focus of mine, so I'm able to give accomodations if the students and I think they will help. We need to get away from the 'one size fits all' and the outdated curricula while we're at it...
I can honestly say that I can see this channel being very popular in the future. The way you all create a nice environment for your guests really encourages natural and interesting conversations. I could watch these videos forever.
Jack was such an incredible guest. Poor Rae trying to figure out those video game sounds. To be fair that was tough. I'm also embarrassed I missed that Last of Us sound clip lol
this episode was so good to the point I was actually engage the whole entire time. I never understood what Lisa's role was until this episode. I think she found her footing and I hope she continues with it. But her role popped out cause of Jack's sarcastic humor so it might just be a complimentary thing. Anyway, you guys are just getting better and better and i hope you guys keep this format
Wait, are you for real Dale-ExE, what kind of "jokes" that you made were bad buddy, i don't understand what you said in that premiere live chat of this newest episode (just asking because i am really confused)? 🤔😶💫✨
loving these guest eps so much! would love to see lisa bring some guests on the pod from her business community and hear them yap about everything they do!
I have the exact same crappy mix of adhd and autism, and what you said about having a desperate craving to do a thing, and then as soon as you get into it you want out and you move on to something else is EXACTLY how I feel, I have started SO many projects for youtube and streaming and abandoned every single one of them, even after dozens of hours and sometimes money spent as well. It is ungodly infuriating that my brain works this way. Makes me a terrible student too.
i'm a huge fan of all 3 of you and watching makes me feel like i am in a safe space. i am also neurodivergent with depression, anxiety, auditory processing disorder and potentially ADHD. This makes me feel more human. Thank you guys so much!
I love the interview style. It reminds me of hot ones. Both go and research pre interview, so questions are more in depth. Most who don't research guests ask things like *"Oh what are your hobbies?"* VS *"I see you're into hiking, what are the top 5 essential items for you to bring? What was your most challenging hike?"*
Off topic but I loved watching Rae play with the green pillow. Watching her grab and pet and make biscuits like a cat was really soothing visual stimuli while I listened 😊

i love that Rae was like "wait...i might be autistic..." i love that Seán not only spreads positivity, but awareness of mental health. thank you for normalizing these discussions and opening up dialogues for mental health ❤
Watching jack/sean and marks podcasts back to back it really explaind why 1 they work so well together and 2 why they became such good friends mark is good at coming up with ideas and starting something jack sucks at starting something but is good at adding stuff to it so for mark its like having a second brain to help him brainstorm for jack its like an idea he can build off of without having to figure it all out himself its a great dynamic to have professionally and as a friend it all makes sense now
As a mother and trying to figure out my son! I needed this episode!! He has ADHD and there is something else there!! And I’ve had some test done and they were like no he doesn’t have autism but it wasn’t a great test they did. And I took him to my psychiatrist and she was like no he is definitely high functioning autistic!! And let me tell you the validation I needed!! Unfortunately to do the actual test my psychiatrist said it’s gonna take 18 months or longer. It’s unfortunate especially for us single parent homes. But I really needed this episode!! Made me feel better!! Y’all are great!! Also RIP the Rev!! One of the best drummers!! 🤗🫶🏻

I found Jack through Polaris player select after my attempt.. I honestly couldn't be more thankful for this years thankmas and everything he's done for me over the years as well as all the other streamers out there that have kept me going through my worst times. I don't think streamers get enough credit for the things they do. Because to them it may be nothing but to a viewer it could be the very thing that made them strive for more ❤
this was so amazing to watch, the insight, even as someone who has known about my audhd for a while, was really helpful. i love that it was talked about so openly, instead of being pushed off or ignored
I am glad rae and lisa talk about everything and are open about their life and also about women life and not holding back on anything. It feels good to listen to them and relate to❤
Hearing that Samson is into metal was so sick to hear, Sleep Token is also one of my favorites. Truly one of the best bands in modern times. So fun hearing him and Jack nerd out about music for a few minutes.

Just want to give props to Alythuh! I feel like she's really starting to get a footing into hosting/podcasting. Also I'm someone who doesnt really know a lot about autism, so this is a really good ep to shed some light into it~
Aw man I grew up with Jack, he is the first English speaking TH-camr I would watch and I always felt that he was really relatable and had a cool perspective on life and being kind and understanding to others.
When I told my kid Sean has adhd and Autism, she just said "makes sense" and went on how she was happy her favorite youtuber is like her.
Now we need ethan to complete the trifecta
YES
I also want them to get Ethan!!
YESS
I like Ethan but wouldn't it be pewdiepie to complete the trifecta
@@cngotham4111 Has to be Pewdiepie.
Now Pewdiepie is the only one missing in this OG TH-cam trio.
I know you guys going to Japan maybe you could get Pewdiepie on the pod when you are there?
I mean Sean is friends with him he could probably help set it up.
Just a thought because it would be awesome.
Yes!!! I hope marzia can join too if ever
what about cinnamontoastken?

u r a lifesaver and i love you
I 100% think I’m on the autism spectrum, though I’ve never been diagnosed.
I LOVE THIS EPISODE, JACK FEELS SO MUCH LIKE HE'S JUST ANOTHER HOST OF THE PODCAST. 😆❤️💚❤️
Lisa: "I love pre-timeskip Robin"
Oda this arc: "Loud and clear 👌🏽"
I’ve watched jacksepticeye throughout my teenage years and I’ve been watching Rae stream since my young adulthood so I’ve loved seeing my worlds collide with their collabs in the past! This podcast episode is just so surreal to me. Proud of Jack to see how much Thankmas has evolved over the years to this big charity stream, i always look forward to it!!🐐🗣️
I really do agree with what Jack said I feel like you guys really do talk honestly in this podcast idk the conversations in these episodes just feels more relaxed and natural for some reason
I love how much Lisa resonated with Sean this episode.
Can I know the time skip?
i clicked on this expecting to laugh out loud, ten minutes in and im crying because I can relate so much to the autism and high masking I've never heard it explained so clearly and honestly from people with experience especially on a platform like this, so thank you
I think Rae and Lisa are such good hosts, with the activities they put together for jack and mark to get them talking about things they’ve accomplished is so fun!!
Love the guest episodes super fun!! Also Mika sitting on the couch in the beginning, then leaving when yall said escapees was so funny😅🤣
I love how chaotic this episode is 🤣
I'm so glad to see that you invited Jack, I got to find your podcast and I got to see a more real side of Jack than ever before. And all of it being personally relatable is just the cherry on top.
this episode was so good. Jack is truly one of the GOATs.
Wanting structure and recognizing it's a healthy habit to build and immediately becoming bored with any routine started is a problem I've had my entire life and I've never heard anyone encountering it like that. It really feels like I'm constantly at odds with myself and like I'm doing something wrong
The man, the myth, the legend himself. Mr. EYE
Grew up watching Jack every day. I'm so glad to see him on the pod :)
as an autistic person who it took 8 years to get diagnosed i really relate to Sean and he was and is such a comfort to me! i masked for 16 years and it was so exhausting! but when i found Sean i felt so much more comfortable in my own body. i'm not even being dramatic when i say that i would not be here today if it wasn't for Sean. i genuinely owe him my life.
51:51 _"yeah._ i could probably catch them all!" *_LMFAO_* 🤣
another AMAZING episode!!
I love this podcast. Such a cozy, low stress start to my Sunday.
Anyway, you guys are just getting better and better and i hope you guys keep this format
my "jokes" were so bad that they cancelled the premiere chat (real) (true)
DAMMIT DALE! Lol.
No need to premiere every time though
Wait, are you for real Dale-ExE, what kind of "jokes" that you made were bad buddy, i don't understand what you said in that premiere live chat of this newest episode (just asking because i am really confused)? 🤔😶💫✨
loving these guest eps so much! would love to see lisa bring some guests on the pod from her business community and hear them yap about everything they do!
This podcasts going to explode if you guys keep doing these great interviews 👍
The way which subjects are broached in this is absolutely beautiful. Loved this
hands down one of my favourite episodes!!!!
Loved this, the best thing about it how genuine you all feel. It's not always so easy to be that way in these situations.
Always look forward to watching the new episode every Sunday morning!!😌🫶
Bryan Dechart watching this when Sean says "no voice really sticks out to me in this clip" lmaoooooo rip
And everything else y'all said about autism is so right, that's just my entire life ahhh
i love so much how much sean and lisa vibed
13:32 SLEEP TOKEN MENTION RAHHH 🦅🦅🦅🦅
Yesssssss sleep token are amazing
i'm a huge fan of all 3 of you and watching makes me feel like i am in a safe space. i am also neurodivergent with depression, anxiety, auditory processing disorder and potentially ADHD. This makes me feel more human. Thank you guys so much!
Ryanhiga as a guest would be everything!
I love the interview style.
It reminds me of hot ones.
Both go and research pre interview, so questions are more in depth.
Most who don't research guests ask things like *"Oh what are your hobbies?"*
VS
*"I see you're into hiking, what are the top 5 essential items for you to bring? What was your most challenging hike?"*
Off topic but I loved watching Rae play with the green pillow. Watching her grab and pet and make biscuits like a cat was really soothing visual stimuli while I listened 😊
Jack is such a legend, words cannot express how many time he saved my life in the past. So happy you girls had him on!
Major MAJOR One Piece SPOILER ALERT @1:14:30 - Skip at least 2 minutes if you plan to ever watch the show or read the manga (not sure how long it goes yet).
EDIT- Honestly the first time I ever heard anyone leak THAT part of One Piece so openly.
Thank you 😭🙏🏻
They should bleep this, probably one of the biggest spoilers in One Piece.
Yeah. Please watch out. That’s such a huge spoiler
i love that Rae was like "wait...i might be autistic..." i love that Seán not only spreads positivity, but awareness of mental health. thank you for normalizing these discussions and opening up dialogues for mental health ❤
His audience ain’t youngsters 😂❤I’ve watched him for years 🎉
Edit: I’m 20 yrs old
Yeah we are all mostly a bunch of old fucks😂.
LOL same! I'm old. I've been watching him since forever it seems.
Yeah I'm like late 30s.
Yeah but you’re also the exact audience he was talking about where we are the right age to want something but legally cannot attain it.
I've seen stuff like weighted plushies and blankets helps with neurodivergents, there are lots of videos about non-med treatments that you can try while you're waiting for the testing. Hope this helps
@ oh thank you!!! I’m gonna look into that! I’m always looking into things!!! I appreciate you!! 🤗🫶🏻
something i did was go to a fabric dtore like micheals or joannes and picked put fabrics i liked!!! i make clothes out of them :)
@@odieclipseyeah my son has a hard time with textures! He is 13. Trying to find clothes he will wear is a little difficult! And anything new he has a struggle with cause it’s new and not the old.
@@rawrxheather sounds like me haha 😆 but trust me when i say fabric stores are awesome!!! letting him feel around the fabrics is the best, because then you can tell what textures he is best suited for!!!!
I found Jack through Polaris player select after my attempt.. I honestly couldn't be more thankful for this years thankmas and everything he's done for me over the years as well as all the other streamers out there that have kept me going through my worst times. I don't think streamers get enough credit for the things they do. Because to them it may be nothing but to a viewer it could be the very thing that made them strive for more ❤
I relate to all of the AuDHD so much, especially the exhaustion that comes from masking & being hyper self aware 😅
I'm so happy you started your interviews with Mark and Jack. The OGs who got me into this type of content!
The way they both described the autism they both have described my problems identically 😭 maybe I need to get tested lol
this was so amazing to watch, the insight, even as someone who has known about my audhd for a while, was really helpful. i love that it was talked about so openly, instead of being pushed off or ignored
This video is one of the best examples of organized chaos!!😭😅
I am glad rae and lisa talk about everything and are open about their life and also about women life and not holding back on anything. It feels good to listen to them and relate to❤
Hearing that Samson is into metal was so sick to hear, Sleep Token is also one of my favorites. Truly one of the best bands in modern times.
So fun hearing him and Jack nerd out about music for a few minutes.
I flipped when Jack didn't get the Detroit line. "You met the guy! Come on!" lol
