I really wish his elimination was done better, especially since it came out of nowhere with Julia suddenly having the idol. It would have felt a lot more justified if we saw some conflict between him and Julia a lot more a few episodes prior, actually see Julia find the idol after Damian made the mistake of moving it, and have Damian do something during the episode he was eliminated in that would justify enough people to vote him off. (Raj and Wayne voting for him does makes some sense considering they believed Priya was on good terms on Caleb again, but considering they stated to like him in the same episode, they should have just split votes between Priya and Caleb so the rest of the cast could decide for them.)

I know there is not a lot of information released about the next season, but I have a really funny feeling Damian is making it a lot further if the Reboot cast is brought back again. It’s clear the creators of the show are at least somewhat listening to the fans, as they made a fan favorite character win the season, (Wayne,) and they didn’t break up Bowie and Raj like a lot of people feared due to past precedent with other couples. If this theory ends up being correct, which I think it might be, they will see the outrage people had with Damian’s elimination and hopefully have him make it to at least the final four if not win the season.
Reboot season two was written WAY before season one even came out in Italy.
