I have such mixed feelings when re-watching these shows. I mean I love storm chasing, especially thunderstorms and I am always on the radar and eyes in the sky for tornados. So from a passion side, always love watching this show. I don't think I'll ever be desensitized to the sheer power and magnitude mother nature can produce. But like Tim, Matt, Joel, Paul, Carl... It's hard to see them alive and in action, doing what they love. But then remember not only is this show like many years old, but that these people don't exist anymore. All there is left for us fans to remember them by are these videos.
I was shocked when Tim , Carl and Paul passed.Joels death bothered me because they seemed to concentrate on his sexual orientation and not what an awesome storm chaser and great person he was. I lost my best friend to a similar incident as Joel. Hurts like hell and I will never understand why she would make such a poor choice.

"How much pain must she have been in to be using substances to numb out?" a lot of people think those with drug problems are just people with poor judgement and just choose to make poor choices. Life has me more and more busy, so I'm always late to the news, it seems. I didn't learn of Tim and Carl's deaths until a year or so after, and only learned of Joel's death last year. Really touched me in a way that the passing of most "TV" personalities doesn't. Two bright lights lost too soon in the storm of life... :(

I knew how a tornado forms at the age of 5 and annoyed my teachers in primary school with the 'real' names of the clouds. The sad thing is I got the information that Joel and twisted team died when I was 10. I cried a lot, because I wanted to meet them. Now I'm learning Meteorologie at home and want to study it in university. I still remember the rivalry between the dominator and TIV team, after reed got the dominater.
The other problem is everywhere I go there is no thunderstorm. In at home nothing, but when I'm not there there is. Or like this year in September my school, which is not where I live like 25 km away I think, started I felt the heat and wrote a message to my mother and brother and later at 3 pm there were a thunderstorm. We heard two times the thunder, when I got home with the bus at 5:30 pm it looked definitely that it was a strong thunderstorm. I cried because that happens all the time since I'm 9. And when a thunderstorm is coming its weak or splits up. The last strong thunderstorm was when I was nearly 9.
14:05 at the risk of playing obnoxious armchair neurosurgeon, I'm wholeheartedly hoping Timmer looked into the fact that these 'mute episodes' could've potentially been absence seizures, considering his medical history that made headlines around 2013(?). Feels invasive as hell to say that, but I've seen people have them only to see them go ignored, subsequently sweeping their epilepsy diagnosis under the rug for another time. They can be short & stress/exhaustion-induced & just look like you're quietly spacing out for even less than a minute or so. Then again, this footage is old, so either way this's probably & hopefully been addressed since then. God bless.

Reed needs one of those waterproof unbreakable phones they make. If they wanna test durability give him one of those. Just make sure he has a gps location setup so if it gets swept up and taken away in a nado he can retrieve it.. lol
Those weird funnel clouds they've been spotted they normally never touch the ground there called cold air funnels we get them around here all the time in Central Indiana in the summer and none of them ever hit the ground

Not necessarily. A lot of the places in somewhat rural areas naturally have soft water. I grew up in a town where it’s like that without a softener. My mom still lives there and it drives me crazy every time I take a shower at her house because it feels like the soap and conditioner never comes off even though I know it’s the opposite lol.

38:57 that looks kinda like montana "gumbo" mud...... but with less bentonite and Alkali . MT gumbo is a STICKY slime....it will coat tires and turn them smooth..... and no amount of wheel speed will spin it off and allow the tire to "bite" also the Alkali..... white spots on the ground......4 cars can drive over it....5th one sinks up to the frame . best thing is to not drive in it..... next best thing is NEVER stop moving..... hammer all the way down....keep even 1 mph of speed . and when in doubt..... chain up on all 4...... and hammer down
Why is that not in a garage? I'd be laying on my Chevy SS spread eagle to protect if from hail if it was outside in that kind of weather. Good luck getting replacement parts/ body panels here in the states for old Holdens. Lady gave me a fender bender last year, had to wait 2 months for new parts
