This is one of the best webinars I've seen, I'm surprised you don't have a bigger following yet! From the clear and concise instructions to the thought-out layout of the prepared files and so on, everything is on point! Hoping to be a part of some of your live classes soon :)
Hey Aman! This is awesome content! Very easy to learn. I was wondering if you have changed your pc configuration in the past year or if you have a dream pc build you think can handle your different workflows seamlessly (that is attainable).
Hey, glad that you liked it. No, I haven't changed my PC (Laptop) in the last 6 years. And probably will still use this a couple of more yeats. I use a thinkpad P50 (from 2016) with a Xeon processor and a Quadro 2000M. You can probably get it for 500 EUR now. The quadro cards are amazing when it comes to CAD modeling. Even a cheaper Quadro card can perform equally well or even better than a lot of mid or high end gaming cards.
You can extract the curves and also create 2D drawings in Rhino. You can take a screenshot or export a viewport image. The coloring part was done using the Gradient component in Grasshopper.
It sounds like Grid Snap might be turned on or the incorrect Osnap is being referenced. Try turning off Grid Snap and double-checking your Osnap settings to ensure you're snapping to the actual center.

Hello, very well explained, how did you generate the colored images on the cover, right at the beginning of the video? thank you!
You can extract the curves and also create 2D drawings in Rhino. You can take a screenshot or export a viewport image. The coloring part was done using the Gradient component in Grasshopper.
I am unable to make thing snap to centre. It snaps to what it thinks is the centre, but when you zoom in it is incorrect.
It sounds like Grid Snap might be turned on or the incorrect Osnap is being referenced. Try turning off Grid Snap and double-checking your Osnap settings to ensure you're snapping to the actual center.
Hi..Can’t able to find the link to the supporting file…kindly share the link plz..

Hi, I am unable to see the pattern in my Rhino window while working in Grasshopper. Is there a solution for this?
Make sure your components are "visible" and the "preview mode" is set correctly in Grasshopper.

Thanks!!
