Real exciting 1hr 42mins of a video, learnt a lot many new things. Being an Architecture Student this knowledge helps me in my work. Learnt some of the important techniques of Rhino 3D, Grasshopper and Keyshot all in this beautifully paced video. Please keep posting such amazing video sessions here for students like us. Love from India, Maharashtra, Pune.

First time I've seen someone else using the 3D space in Rhino as their "modeling timeline" / history.
Really appreciate how well thought out and organized the lesson and the accompanying assets are.

Thank you for the kind feedback. It's pretty neat, isn't it? However, the file size can become quite substantial as well (though there are ways to address this issue).

for me this is not a well organized tutorial. no visible Screencast Keys
The tutorial doesn't tell you how to upload photos or set distances. some of the movements are omitted, such as placing the upper part to the lower part so that they touch together. no info about layers and how to deal with it

If anyone is having problems with the curves at the start set the blend start to curve end. great tutorial as always. Thanks.

You might want to consider flipping the curve direction when using the Blend Curve command. If it doesn't work, please let us know.

    Such a amazing video!!❤
I wonder if i could use this grasshopper code(?) in the cylinder shape model 😢..

Yes you can! Use "Surface Frames" to create normal planes to create geometry on curved surface.

Excellent class, huge learning! Regarding grasshoper I have a question what would be the ideal setup for when applying the Difference Boolean command does not lock, I observed that my Rhinoceros stays for hours and hours and does not perform the command do you know how I can solve this or do I need to buy a Mac? Congratulations on the Exceptional Class

Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the class. Regarding your question, it sounds like the issue might be related to the complexity of the geometry or the computing power of your current setup. Can you try to perform Boolean difference in small batches. If not, try to simplify geometry or check if your Rhino is updated.
Buying a Mac is not necessarily a solution to this problem. Both Windows and Mac systems can handle Rhino and Grasshopper efficiently. Hope this helps! If you have more questions, feel free to ask. Congratulations on your progress!

1:02:48 Your higher element of this speaker is closed polysurface or open polysurface? My boolean operation was fail

Hey, not sure if you have the same issue. My boolean failed too because I forgot to cap the extruded rectangles. Somehow missed the step. My boolean only worked once they were a solid like the original surface.

When in doubt, check the object properties before the operation to determine whether the two objects are solid. You can also try performing the Boolean Difference operation in smaller batches.

how do I get the contour space tab ? I cannot go beyound minute 35... I cannot grate the gaps between the rives ... GRRRR!

    • @Cademy
      @Cademy  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

Are you sure you are using the same Contour component? See the resource files, you might be using a different contour component altogether. This one is Contour "Create a set of Brep or Mesh contour".
